• Immaculate, well appointed, attractive room with very good continental breakfast.

“This hotel is well located in the Willow Grove area of greater Philadelphia. The rooms are suite styled with small kitchen, sitting room and bedroom. The rooms and hotel in general are immaculate and well maintained. The continental breakfast is more than adequate to start your day with options including pastries, cereals (hot and cold) precooked scrambled eggs, waffles and juices.”

• I liked the way the room was arranged, the kitchen area and the onsite laundry.
• I did not like the cooler in the room. I was expecting a fridge.

“I will definitely use this hotel again when visiting family in local area. We were comfortable, and truly enjoyed the breakfast. The food staff and the housekeeping staff were wonderful as were desk staff. Thoroughly enjoyed!”

• Upscale feel in a smaller facility.
• Would have liked later access to pool and whirlpool (closed at 11 PM) and I am used to a much firmer mattress but the bed was still cozy.

“A big welcoming lobby with gas fireplace, a large dining room for the breakfast service, and a very large staircase to the first floor of rooms makes for a big hotel atmosphere without the big price. Helpful, friendly staff and the nicest exercise room I've ever seen in a mid-priced hotel. Newer ellipticals and treadmills with built-in individual TV screens were a welcome amenity. A large room with kitchenette and a roomy tub/shower made for a comfortable stay. The only negative which was a very personal preference is that our beds were not very firm which is somewhat hard on my lower back.”

• I enjoyed the layout of our room.

“This hotel was great because of the lay out of the room. The complimentary breakfast was a god send especially traveling with two younger children. Only disappointment was that due to planned activities our children did not get to enjoy the swimming pool.”

• The suites were much larger than I expected. It is unfortunate that I was not staying longer to appreciate it.
• The dozens of kids that were running all over the dining area.

“Overall, the rooms were large and comfortable, and the hotel was conveniently located right off the turnpike. As a solo leisure traveler, I did not care for the dozens of kids that seemed to be running all over, but staff was helpful & friendly. I was pleased.”

“What a great stay we had at this establishment. The staff was truly friendly, courteous and professional. Free internet, pool and whirlpool and exercise room. • It was wonderfully clean. This sink, counter, mini refrigerator and microwave in the room were just right.
• The towels were thin and small.

“This place was just right. It was clean, comfortable, had a great seating area in the room and had a mini kitchen. The beds were comfortable, too. The desk and free internet service made it possible to get a lot of work done.”

• Excellent desk staff and yummy continental breakfast.
• Tub/shower was sanitary, but had bits of soap scum.

“Another consistently pleasant Marriott stay. Grounds were very nicely planted and maintained. Remarkably, though well situated, this hotel sits on a very quiet street. Rooms were comfortably arranged for the family. All but one of the staff members we encountered were textbook-perfect: friendly, helpful, charmed by our three young children, etc. Even the other one would have been considered fine in another hotel chain. Do make use of the dining guide provided by the hotel. Their suggestions are good and directions are easy to follow.”

• The rooms were spacious. The staff was friendly. The gym had good equipment.
• Pool is too small. Treadmill not working correctly. Would have preferred scrambled eggs instead of the egg thing that was served at breakfast.

“We came in for a wedding and very much enjoyed our stay. We traveled with several young children and they very much enjoyed the pool in their free time. Although the pool is a bit small, the hotel itself was very clean, spacious and the rooms were nice. The morning breakfast was just right for families with kids as well as business travelers.”

• They refused to give us a king room even though the hotel was not full.

“We stayed at 3 hotels on this trip and this was the only one that would not let us have a king bed. They said their computer code would not allow it. The bedroom was very crowded with 2 doubles. It is in an obscure location with the entrance not on the address street.”

• The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in ever.
• I liked everything about this hotel.

“I had not spayed at a Springhill suites before and this was a lovely surprise. It was conveniently located to where I had business. While it had easy access to the main highway I heard absolutely no road noise. The breakfast was more than satisfactory and went later than I anticipated. The hotel was immaculately clean. Great facilities (laundry, pool, shop) the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in!”

• It was more than I expected! I love the idea of a fridge and microwave.
• Nothing.

“Excellent. It had the conveniences of a fridge and microwave plus 2 TVs. The bathroom was roomy and I like the idea of a separate sink area which is great if there are 2 or more travelers. The Continental Breakfast was great, a lot of choices.”

• Only feather pillows. Horrible for people with allergies.

“This hotel is beautiful and in a perfect quiet setting. Please give us polyester pillows. Really, the world is full of people that are terribly allergic to chopped up animal parts, like feathers.”

• Good work-out room and whirlpool; the staff was nice and friendly.
• A lot of kids were running in the halls later in the evening; paper left on hall floor.

“Overall, it was a great hotel for the rating of 2.5 stars. I would not rate it any higher because of the small pool, the noise level (lots of kids which I know a hotel can't control but may at least want to limit the hour of night the noise continued), and a slight (barely noticeable but still there) smell in the hall. The rooms were great and the bed very comfortable! I also found the hotel staff very friendly. If it weren't for the factors I just mentioned, I'd be tempted to give the hotel a 3 star rating.”

• The staff gave you their best effort, as if they believed it was important to impress you.

“Our stay at this hotel was tainted by the wheelchair accessible room that my wife and I were given. Those rooms are spacious, too spacious actually, with wide-open bathrooms lacking a bathtub, where the water drains into the floor, making the entire floor wet. Besides that one element that lacked coziness, the room came with free Internet (wired); free breakfast, a microwave, refrigerator, and small sink in the room, and a pool and whirlpool. However, during our stay, some loud and annoying family with many kids had decided to forcefully take over the pool and whirlpool area, so my wife and I didn't bother attempting to swim as we had planned. The hotel is also located a bit far away from the highway, tucked away on some commercial park side-street. Having chosen a 2.5 star rating for our named price, I believe this hotel experience fell short of our expected quality level.”

• Business center not well advertised to guests.

“With major hotel brands boasting their best for a good nights sleep, this hotel brand, at least this hotel location, has bedding that is a step up from the rest, though perhaps not as top of the line as its partner Marriott hotel. However, the best in the local area. Staff was fantastic and that is sometimes a rarity, having worked in the industry, and shows the dedication from management on down.”
