“Excellent complimentary breakfast. Parking charge is high. Park on the street if you will use your car during the day. Clean rooms. No problems. ”

• Room itself was fine, location is okay.
• Highway noise, highway noise, highway noise.

“The hotel itself is totally acceptable as a 2 star property. However, by virtue of the incredible noise (it's sandwiched between I-95 and Columbus boulevard). There is no way one could expect, or accept, the unbearable noise coming from I-95, right outside the hotel windows at any star rating.”

• The cleanliness of the room and it was spacious.
• The hotel was right on the freeway so the windows were paper thin, so every time a truck went by you heard it-all night.

“I would never stay here again due to its right next toe freeway, so we were up all night due to the trucks that sounded every two minutes-horrible.”

• Free continental breakfast, shuttle service into town.
• Did not have iron in room. No soap in bathroom, noise from super highway.

“This is strictly a budget place. If your room faces 1-95 the traffic whizzing by is quite load. Did not have the basic amenities in room - soap in bathroom and iron in room (which really annoyed me because I didn¿t notice it until I needed it in the morning.”

• Easy walk to many good restaurants and waterfront shops.
• Right next to i-95 and room was noisy from traffic.

• Brand new beds!
• Their courtesy car drivers are biggest pricks in America!

“We stayed there before when the mattresses were disgusting. Now the mattresses are new. They only hire courtesy car drivers that are the biggest pricks in America. The last one was a rat. The new one is even meaner. We are big tippers. He knows that people are waiting in the lobby but drive off without announcing that he is there! They get tipped, but let you off a city block away from where the best entrance is to the reading terminal. I found their drivers obnoxious and sadistic both times. Even though they put us in a smoking room, we were not unhappy because the beds were great! Bring your own soap.”

• The location was extremely convenient yet very close to downtown.
• We were on a smoking floor, so our room smelled horrible, but we probably could have just requested to change.

“The location was amazing- easy to find (right off the highway) and yet very accessible to down town Philly. The staff was extremely helpful and polite, and the whole experience far exceeded the price we paid for it. One word of advice though- don't be surprised to pay about $18 a night for parking at the hotel- it is downtown and space is scarce, so just about anywhere you go you'll have to pay an arm and a leg to park.”

• I liked the free shuttle. It was very handy.
• Difficult to find.

“This hotel was perfectly sufficient for our needs. It was basically functional, not a lot of frills, but who needs those in a city with so much to see?”

• So-so location, but easy in and out. Cheap parking nearby.
• Not really a "downtown hotel". A "waterfront" hotel.

“I liked the room, very spacious. Not too great of a view from my window but I didn't care. The metered parking was extremely convenient, safe and nearby saving me a bundle on the hotel parking. It was easy to reach and access the city from and the expanded continental breakfast was real pleasant surprise. Very, very good.”

• The wireless Internet connection.
• The poor service of the cleaning crew.

“Surprising location between two expressways. The hotel is extremely noisy. The corridors look. The room was cleaned only twice in four days. Would rather go to the Holiday Inn around 3rd street.”

• It was within walking distance to the historic area in Philadelphia.
• It was located in an area that seemed questionable if one were walking the 2 blocks to the historic district.

“It was located in a good area with many businesses nearby, but the 2 or 3 blocks that led into the historic area were dark and probably unsafe at night. The hotel was clean, staff was helpful, and the continental breakfast was fine. I would stay there again.”

• The continental breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful.
• Nothing.

“The location of this hotel is great, only a couple of blocks (easy walking distance) from Penn's Landing and the Phlash trolley pick-up/drop-off location. The continental breakfast is more than one expects, waffles, juice, coffee, yogurt, bagels, pastries, cereal, etc. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. The free shuttle to areas within 20 miles of the hotel is an added bonus as well. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!!”

• Left a gold ring behind after checkout, it was waiting for me at the front desk when a returned to get it.
• Had to pay for parking.

• The Hotel was great but your service POOR.

“I loved the stay at the Comfort Inn the location was perfect. I was in a motorcycle accident and the person speaking to my wife was very rude and did not care about our problem. I did not use the best rate plan I simply book the hotel.. You were very unreasonable.”

• Location, near Penn's landing, scenic.
• Elevators usually smelled like smoke or unpleasant.

“My stay was good overall. The staff were helpful. I enjoyed being so close to the water and some tourist attractions. The hotel was quiet and peaceful, nice sized rooms. The free continental breakfast was pretty good too.”

• Terrible traffic noise and problems with wireless internet access.

“Terrible noise from road traffic at both the back (I-95) and front (busy street) of the hotel. In addition, the wireless internet access is terrible. Very slow and flaky connection. The problem with the internet access was the same as when I stayed at the hotel six months ago.”

• The staff were very friendly and helpful and the complimentary shuttle service came in handing given the hotel's location.
• The location although close to the historic district is fairly inconvenient and I wouldn't say, as the description does that it is waterfront.

• Has van shuttle service around the city for FREE.
• Older.

“Great place to just lay your head and sleep. Hotel is a little far or out of place, but has a free van shuttle service that drops you off and picks you up in the city. I do not mind staying there, but know some co-workers who would cringe at the hotel.”

• The breakfast is ok.
• The staff when we checked in is unfriendly. Keep us waiting without any greetings.

“when we checked in, they said they only have one room left. They only reserve one room for me. Finally, they gave me two rooms. When I came back yesterday, I found they charge me for room rates that I have paid. When we checked in, the guy in front desk keep looking at his computer without any greetings. After a few minutes, he kept looking at the computer saying last name, No smile, no eye contact, and saying they only reserve one room for me. I wonder if I do not print out the confirmation from the net, two of us have to sleep on streets. The room and carpet is not very clean. However, breakfast is quite ok.”

• I liked the shuttle service of the hotel that helped me to go to different places. I also liked the cleaniliness and the price I got
• I did not like their check in time. They should allow their guest to check in earlier than 4 PM.

“The hotel is located in a nice place. It is very clean. i liked their room very much.. well decorated. I also liked the shuttle service. It is very useful for the new visitors. The continental breakfast is superb.”

• The parking attendant was friendly and helpful
• The front desk staff is ABOMINABLE

“The location of the hotel, while close to Center City, was only accessible by foot through a set of dark and dangerous highway underpasses, thus it became necessary to leave the hotel and drive into Center City. The hotel lobby was hot and the staff unfriendly, unhelpful, and generally clueless about how to run a front desk (it took 30 minutes to check in and 20 to check out, and that did not count the time I stood in line). The rooms were barely clean and VERY worn for what is a fairly new hotel. I would NOT stay there again, ever, no matter the price.”

“It's a lovely, clean, efficient hotel on the waterfront...unfortunately, most of the rooms look out on a highway...it also is NOT convienient to any of the major attractions or Center City and is not walkable to anything... You need to catch the shuttle from the hotel or take a cab anywhere you go (adding about 20 bucks a day to your cost...)”
