“Overall, this was definitely a great stay. The room was impeccably clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was nice having a small kitchen area so that we could store things in the fridge for later. Also, the breakfast buffet included was great - many options that left you feeling full and it was a plus since we were traveling on a budget. The only downside of our stay was that we called for housekeeping to drop off extra toilet paper 3 times and they never came. We called the front desk and they immediately apologized and said it would be brought up to the manager. Lucky for us one of the cleaning staff was across the hall so we got it from her. Still it was a great stay.” Apr 26, 2009 by
Lee from Palmer,MA
“Our stay was pleasant. The staff was helpful and the attentive. This hotel was very close to Reading Market and not to far of a walk from historical Philly. I was not happy with the parking rates. This was an added expense to our vacation.” Jan 7, 2009 by
Jeff from Lancaster,PA
“The staff was friendly. The hotel was VERY clean. We stayed on the 17th floor and the suite was overlooking the city streets with a GREAT window. The kitchen was laid out better then most suites I've rented and we were at home here more then we were at our own house.” Jan 5, 2009 by
Amy from Reston,VA
“This was a great place to stay to visit friends in Center City. The room was spacious and well equipped. Even though I did not bring a pet I liked that it is pet friendly.” Jan 3, 2009 by
Julie from Strum,WI
“Great room, nice size and has kitchen. Staff was so nice from start to finish. Great location, great breakfast. I was surprised to see a beautiful computer business center and fitness room free of additional charges, these are often more at upscale hotels. This hotel overall was excellent. I would recommend it.” Dec 24, 2008 by
Terri from Helotes,TX
“Hotel was right across the street from the capital building. Great scenery. Clean and spacious room. I would stay there again.” Nov 19, 2008 by
Donna from Baltimore,MD
“I really enjoyed my stay and would love to stay every time I visit Philly.” Nov 5, 2008 by

“Well located hotel, but very expensive. I knew that beforehand, but it appeared to me that the hotel had some long-term, indigent residents. My room had an odd layout--probably because the building was originally designed as office space. The complimentary breakfast was also odd--large on Mexican spices and offerings, while no bacon. Lastly, the hotel offered no rooms for smokers.” Oct 14, 2008 by

“Nice rooms. If you can find alternate parking do!” Sep 8, 2008 by
Todd from Harrisburg, PA
“Great central location, wonderful complimentary breakfast, polite and friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Kim “I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Although I knew from the beginning that there was no parking only valet, I still wished there was on-site pkg. Valet cost $42 a day. The hotel was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and our stay was relaxing. Everything was within walking distance. I would stay here again.” Jun 9, 2008 by
Joanne from Highland Lake, NJ
“Can't say enough nice things about the staff who were extremely accommodating from check-in to check-out; very helpful with directions and information about the city. Elevators ran a little slow, but stairs were available. The suite was more suitable for business travelers than a family of five, although dinnerware for 4 was available in the kitchen. It was perfect for our weekend birthday celebration and the location, cleanliness & friendly staff exceeded my expectations.” May 29, 2008 by
Kerrie from Brooklyn, NY
“Safe, central location, big rooms with kitchenette, good free breakfast.” Apr 30, 2008 by
Phil from Snellville, GA
“This hotel was right up there with Marriotts high standard for comfort, cleanliness, and warm staff! Always good to stay at any of their properties. Will stay there again, probably soon.” Mar 19, 2008 by
Paula from Philadelphia, PA
“The Resident Inn Marriott is by far the best hotel for business and leisure travelers. The room was perfect with the full service kitchen and more than enough room for two! I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know.” Feb 28, 2008 by
Stephanie from San Diego, CA
“Great location, warm welcoming and helpful staff.” Feb 27, 2008 by

“Residence Inn was very cozy-like a home away from home. It is right in the middle of center city making it a great location .” Jan 8, 2008 by
Linda from Leola, PA
“Enjoyed what the hotel had to offer and would not hesitate to recommend and stay there again.” Jan 6, 2008 by
Deb from Westfield, MA
“This hotel is right in the middle of the city. You can walk to most attractions. If you drive, cost of parking is expensive. I parked in a municipal lot several blocks away and saved $20 a day.” Jan 6, 2007 by
Nicole from Central Islip, NY
“This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Philadelphia. Each room is equipped with a kitchen, a fridge, and all the utensils needed to prepare a meal. The bed was absolutely lovely with a soft white down comforter. Each room also comes with a pull-out sofa bed. I will definitely stay here again.” Jan 4, 2007 by
Nicole from Malvern, PA
“Great location & reasonable price through it. Couldn't ask for much else.” Nov 15, 2006 by

“Very good value, great location, very clean and well-kept. I wish there were more parking options. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast included. Fitness room equipment was not of the best quality.” Oct 24, 2006 by
Mitch from Columbus, OH
“A very once hotel with great views of the city (especially at night) and good facilities. The location is central to Philly and major bus lines are right outside the door. Plenty of shopping for food and essentials nearby and complimentary grocery shopping to stock the kitchen. I wish I had stayed here sooner on my trips to Philly.” Oct 19, 2006 by
Lawrence from Depew, NY
“I would recommend this hotel to leisure travelers. Front desk staffs were very nice, hot breakfast buffet included and great location. Can park the car and walk to Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, clubs etc. and always felt safe.” Oct 3, 2006 by
Latanya from Wilmington, DE
“I would give this hotel 5 stars ... we loved our stay though very short. We just had a baby and needed a nice get-a-way and our stay at Residence Inn in Philadelphia was just what we needed. We had the option of a nice stay inside or to hit the town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff was friendly and efficient. We'll be back for sure!” Sep 21, 2006 by
Ryan from Springfield, VA
“The hotel is in a great location right by the Convention Center and the Reading Terminal Market. It is not the most convenient hotel to reach by car since the traffic is quite heavy. The only hotel parking available is valet parking for $32.00 a day; however, there is a ramp fairly close by that charges $25.00. The staff was not the most helpful and rather unfriendly. Besides the leaky fridge and clogged toilet, the room was quite nice. It was a large room with a nice little kitchen. I called about getting my TV remote fixed and nobody ever came, but that goes back to the quality of the staff. Overall the quality and location of the hotel was good, just don't expect much from the staff.” Nov 26, 2005 by
Gina from Chandler, AZ
“All in all my stay was great.” Nov 21, 2005 by

“Would definitely go back. Got good rate on short notice, but expected a little more service for a downtown hotel. Have stayed at other "lesser" rated Residence Inn's before with better staff. Staff not bad, but I guess my expectations were just higher.” Nov 4, 2005 by
Alan from Shelby Twp, MI
“Great location and facilities. Easy walking to many points of interest. Right across the street from picturesque city hall.” Sep 20, 2005 by
Jeffrey from West Richland, WA
“Very helpful staff, great location, everything available. Cannot say enough good. Rooms Big Fridge, microwave, stove and dishwasher and dishes inside. Just beautiful.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 30, 2005 by

“Can't be beat for the price. You can walk or subway to everything. The staff was very friendly, the room clean and comfortable. It was very handy to have a refrigerator and full size coffee maker available. The room was a bit noisy as it faced the street, and the mattress had seen better days, but overall, I'd recommend this hotel.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 29, 2005 by

“Overall, it's a great bargain. It has the amenities of the Marriott, but at a lower price. All the employees I encountered were courteous and accommodating. The location was excellent, although some nearby neighborhoods were seedy.” Jun 8, 2005 by
Tanya from Hatfield, PA “A wonderful hotel. Curtious and helpful staff. Valet employees were more than accomidating. A downright pleasant stay.” Apr 22, 2005 by
E. from New York, NY
“I was quite annoyed by the hotel at first because I had called one week before to reserve for a non-smoking room, and when I arrived, I was given a smoking room and was told there were none available. ” Apr 16, 2005 by
Eve from New York, NY
“I've stayed at 4-5 hotels in Philadelphia recently and even though this is rated as a 2.5 star hotel, this is better than the 3 star hotels I got from in Philly. The rooms were generously large with full kitchen and very comfortable bed and pull-out couch. The gym and pool was decent. Hotel was centrally located and safe. The best part was the full spread of hot breakfast buffet each morning. I will stay at this place again and again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
