“The first room I was checked into had a heavy odor of room freshener - almost to a gag level amount. Also, TV did not work. Changed to a different room and it was about the same from an amenity standpoint and smell. Floor was dirty in bathroom in second room - like it was mopped in a hurry with a dirty mop. Staff was friendly and accommodating in room change. Overall, this was more like a motel you would stop at along the interstate on a cross country road trip. Place is worn and in need of an upgrade in the guest room department. I would really rather not stay at this hotel again if given a choice.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Stephen from Liverpool, NY
“Beds were not that comfortable. But the staff was friendly and it is a good location.” Mar 23, 2008 by
Gary from Tempe, AZ
“Great hotel in the heart of the sports complex in PA.” Mar 16, 2008 by
Alex from Gatineau, QC CA
“While the hotel was clean and met the standard of a 2.5-star, the service was horrible. I waited one hour and 15 minutes for the shuttle. I called after 30 minutes and they had forgotten about me - said it would be another 10 minutes, but was in fact 45 minutes until I stopped the shuttle - he would not have stopped.” Mar 16, 2008 by
James from Dover, DE
“The hotel had a large parking lot, vast open area guest waiting area, elevators, one of which was inoperable since October I was told. Rooms were good, nice hot water for showers, if facing downtown the view was fantastic. Being in South Philadelphia, made me think of Band of Brothers and SSG Guernere.” Mar 15, 2008 by
Bill from Frederick, MD
“I wanted a hotel closer the airport. This hotel should be classified as a Philadelphia hotel and not with the airport hotels. One elevator didn't work and I had to use the service elevator. Gift shop closed too early. I paid the same amount for a top notch Marriot the night before in Conshohocken, PA.” Mar 14, 2008 by
Todd from Woodbridge, VA
“The hotel is dated and the other guests were noisy. Liked that the whole floor was smoke free.” Mar 14, 2008 by
Roger from Plymouth, IN
“Good for business travelers.” Mar 7, 2008 by
Sherie from Lincoln, DE
“I like it, most staff was friendly. I thought it was a bummer that the elevator was out, but they fixed that problem promptly & we were on our way to the fifth floor.” Mar 3, 2008 by
Christen from Upper Darby, PA
“Hotel was great and staff as well.” Mar 2, 2008 by
Ken from Chardon, OH
“Shuttle Van took an hour to arrive at the airport. Front desk staff not friendly or helpful, even after issuing incorrect room assignment and key. Room service shut down at 9pm. Seems to be more sports complex oriented rather than business travel.” Feb 25, 2008 by
Tom from Newhall, CA
“About a 6-7 out of 10. Could have been cleaner and the ac did not work. Room was somewhat clean but the hotel is old.” Feb 22, 2008 by
Khurram from North Oaks, MN
“The hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff was very efficient and friendly.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Sushila from Dillwyn, VA
“I was here in August; the elevator did not work, and 6 months later, still only one elevator, and a service elevator. They gave me the same room, that had no hot water, and I was moved. The next room had a broken toilet, and they moved me. Last time I was moved 3 times. Yuk!” Feb 17, 2008 by
Debbie from Spokane, WA
“Better than I expected. Got in late and took a cab and no restaurant open when I got there. But friendly staff and comfortable room.” Feb 12, 2008 by
Steve from Cave Creek, AZ
“Very good and attentive staff. Very clean and good location for travel (easy to find and easy to get to freeways and the airport). Rooms were good. Restaurant service and food was good as well. All in all a pleasant stay.” Feb 11, 2008 by
Duane from Arlington Heights, IL
“Mold in bathroom, toilet leaked, shower fixtures loose, shuttle driver does 60 mph in a 35 zone, printed the wrong invoice, key did not work second day, hotel very hard to find at night, night time staff could not provide directions from the airport to the hotel.” Feb 9, 2008 by
Julie from Georgetown, TX
“I would have given this hotel a higher rating if the sink and tub had drained properly.” Feb 7, 2008 by
Valerie from Dahlonega, GA
“For the price - this hotel suited my needs. Convenient to and from the airport using their shuttle, restaurant on site.” Feb 6, 2008 by
Victor from Union Church, MS
“I stay in downtown hotels for a five dollar difference in a 3 star hotel. Nothing about the room was nice. Not the beds, the bathroom looked moldy, and the room smelled of smoke.” Feb 4, 2008 by
Steve from Fort Lauderdale, FL
“I arrived in my room and found that the iron left stains on my shirt, the toilet was wobbly and the shower knob (1) was broken and I was left to shower in what felt like 12 degree water. The hotel's response. "Well put you in another room when you return - we'll not it on your account". I returned and no notation was placed, and when I mentioned it, I was placed in a room that had the doors to the TV. Cabinet ripped from its hinges. I explained to the staff, I took the iron out of one room and replaced it with the other.” Feb 1, 2008 by
John from San Jose, CA
“Had to call the hotel for the shuttle. Took much to long for it to arrive. Shuttle departs from hotel at 6am. To late for early flights. Necessary to take a taxi at your expense.” Jan 31, 2008 by
Edith from Arab, AL
“I would like to thank the staff for all they did to make my stay as comfortable as possible.” Jan 31, 2008 by
Kevin from Fort Lauderdale, FL
“The hotel should not be considered to be in the Airport location. Travel time means less sleep time. The van service was unreliable and caused a long delay in getting to my room. When you already have a short night every minute counts. Upon arrival I had planned to order some food and go right to bed. I was informed that room service closed at nine, amazing. Had they picked me up in a timely manner and been closer to the airport I would not have gone hungry that night. There was no remote control for the TV in the room. I asked about van service to the airport in the morning and was told it was every half hour starting at 6am. You would think that the clerk would tell at that moment that I needed to sign up for it. When I came down for the 6am van I was told that it had left early because all who were registered for it had been present. After reading all this you tell me how you think my stay was.” Jan 30, 2008 by
John from Alexandria, VA
“Overall I would stay there again especially if I have plans to attend a ballgame. Or a stop over prior to a flight it would be a nice place to stay. It is also very close to downtown as well as the airport.” Jan 30, 2008 by
Michele from Farmingdale, NJ
“Overall, I had a very nice experience at the hotel. They were going through renovations so the floors in the elevators had dried dirt all over. And as a non smoker I wish they had non-smoking floors not just non-smoking rooms. When I got off the elevator I could smell the smoke.” Jan 16, 2008 by
M from Greeley, CO
“The location worked well, though I was initially concerned. It has easy access to major roads. Our first room, near the elevator (which was also being renovated) was loud, noisy and smelly. But the very friendly staff immediately moved us to the much superior non-smoking 5th floor. Neither of our rooms had a fridge or a microwave and it would have added $25 to the cost of the room. Others in our group had both. As we stayed several days, that would have been helpful. They do NOT have a 24 hour shuttle, the earliest shuttle is 6 am, unless you are airport personnel. They also have only one out of 5 pieces of fitness equipment operational. The business center is clean and tidy, but has a virtually useless internet connection. The in room Wi-Fi, works great though. I would stay again, as I really liked the staff and appreciated their sincere efforts to make things work out.” Jan 12, 2008 by
Shanny from Jefferson City, MO
“Great location, great amenities. I just feel that the bathroom mold problem needs to be taken care of. If it weren't for the mold and dust, I would have no problems with this hotel.” Jan 11, 2008 by
Aaron from Tyngsboro, MA
“This hotel is directly adjacent to the Philadelphia sports arenas and just 10 minutes from PHL airport. The property is undergoing renovations, which somewhat detract from the overall attractiveness. Room appointments were acceptable. Overall room cleanliness was good, but the floor was very dirty. The on-site restaurant has standard fare for breakfast. Complimentary local shuttle services are outstanding. Other service at the hotel was good. A good choice for business travelers looking for a bargain near PHL, and a great choice for fans catching a road game.” Jan 9, 2008 by
Ray from Valley Cottage, NY
“WARNING - This is not a 3 star hotel. The lobby is deceiving. The rooms are not clean and there is a bad odor. The staff needs to learn to speak English properly.” Jan 4, 2008 by
Chris from Perrysburg, OH
“If youre going to a game, this hotel is a good stay due to the location in relation to the stadiums, and the great bar Benny the Bum right in the hotel. I wouldnt have had as much of a problem with the hotel if the mistake made regarding my payment for the stay (I was charged twice) was dealt with more effectively and quickly. It took over a day to even get in touch with a manager to get the problem solved. The bar, Benny the bums was excellent though. Great staff, great food and good times.” Jan 4, 2008 by
Richelle from Elkins Park, PA
“We only took a room because we were attending a New Year's Eve wedding at the hotel. We left immediately after the reception to other accommodations. The staff manner was inconsistent: a mixed bag of professionalism ranging from chip-on-a-shoulder grouchiness to folksy familiarity. Only one of two elevators was in working order. The alternative stairs lead you outside before reaching the lobby. The room and bath were neat, but terribly worn and stained, begging one to question cleanliness. The wedding ballroom and reception rooms were pleasantly set up and the food was surprisingly flavorful.” Jan 4, 2008 by
Laura from North Wales, PA
“Should not be 2.5 stars. Lobby and sports bar very nice, but, rooms just ok. Shower very dirty. Hotel very noisy because of location near stadiums. Not for business travelers looking to stay near airport and get sleep. Had to have next room moved because of excessive noise well past 2 am. We stayed here because of the weather and we had to get back to work, as air traffic controllers at 6 am the next morning. We got no sleep so it turned out to be a bad decision. Not happy with the hotel at all.” Jan 3, 2008 by
Haran A. from Mississauga, ON CA
“Great hotel, I will stay there from now on if I get it at the price I got it for.” Jan 2, 2008 by
Ivelisse from San Juan, PR
“I wouldn't want to stay at this hotel again. I was traveling with my family and the crowd we found at the hotel's diner wasn't the best. We drove around for a while but couldn't find a place opened.” Jan 2, 2008 by
Jen from Pittsburgh, PA
“Stayed for 3 nights- bed & room were comfortable however the bathroom made the stay very uncomfortable due to the bad water pressure and barely any hot water in the shower. Good for 1 night stay for the price but after 2nights we had a strong desire to leave due to the bathroom. Good value for the price however in retrospect I would have preferred to pay more for greater comfort.” Dec 26, 2007 by
Chad from Providence, UT
“Friendly staff. Poor beds.” Dec 19, 2007 by
Darvi M. from Auburn, WA
“Rooms are old but clean public areas are nice friendly helpful staff good location to get into Philly and freeway access very close. For the price it was ok.” Dec 18, 2007 by
Frederick from Des Moines, IA
“Was given a smokers room told I was a nonsmoker room had to be changed/ also internet did not work well and was without internet for 2 days staff was not pleasant and uncaring. The music in the restaurant was loud noise and had to take my food to my room it was noise pollution.” Dec 17, 2007 by
Melody from New Holland, PA
“This hotel was easy to find and was clean and efficient. Shuttle service to the airport was timely and convenient. The only down fall was renovations being done to the elevator interrupted the service which required using a service elevator which was slow in the morning when use is heavy from guest checking out. Over all, this hotel meets my expectations for the rating and the purpose I need it for. A comfortable place to spend the night before an early morning flight.” Dec 13, 2007 by
Wiliam from Lincoln University, PA
“Hotel location is outstanding close to major highways and the sports complex. Room very large and well appointed. Hotel has been undergoing renovation for quite some time and I do not see significant progress yet. Staff friendly always and quick and speedy check in and out process. Parking can be a challenge when the hotel nightclub is operating.” Dec 9, 2007 by
Robert from Miami Beach, FL
“When I arrived at the hotel, a guest in front of me was screaming at the front desk staff about an erroneous charge, that interaction more or less set the tone for my stay. I checked into my room which fair at best, the windows had the hand imprints of a previous guest (they remained for days unclean by housekeeping), the lamp was broken, the ceiling cracking and the tub and tiles were dressed with black mold. About two hours later another couple had erroneously been assigned to my room, keyed in and were rolling in their suitcases when I startled them with a "can I help you", apparently the room was double assigned, a major security breach. I could go on, but the stay more or less continued to be plaque with a comedy of errors.” Dec 5, 2007 by
Josh from Lebanon, PA
“Great spot to catch a stay for a game at a Philadelphia stadium. Horrible service from hotel staff.” Nov 27, 2007 by
Don from Birmingham, AL
“Good place to crash if you have an early flight or if youre headed to the stadium. Not fancy but ok.” Nov 25, 2007 by
Jerry from Trenton, NJ
“I would have done better elsewhere.” Nov 22, 2007 by
James from Los Angeles, CA
“This hotel is horrible. The hotel did not offer shuttle to airport after 6 am and it took them 50 minutes to pick us up at the airport. Front desk is not professional and did not know what to do. People around are scary, trucker, drunken man and etc. Room is horrible, wall paper torn, carpet smell, bathroom disgusting. I can only rate this hotel as a motel or 1-star, thats it. Location is far from airport. Located no near restaurant. Poor lighting and free internet in room only can be used with special password for 2 hours. My worst stay of the entire hotel I have been.” Nov 20, 2007 by
Jenny from Castroville, TX
“Easy to get to and within view of the sports complexes in Philadelphia. The restaurant was quite loud both nights, but there were no disturbances within the room.” Nov 20, 2007 by
Jared from Okeechobee, FL
“Terrible customer service as related to having a package stolen; my non smoking room smelled of smoke, and there were numerous cigarette burns on the bath tub. After waiting 35 minutes for a beer at the pub, and having my requests for faster service ignored, I left.” Nov 19, 2007 by
Erin from Boise, ID
“Great location for an early morning flight or a quick admission to any sporting event.” Nov 18, 2007 by
Mona from Aliso Viejo, CA
“This is a convenient location to the stadium in Philadelphia. I would not stay here again, but this is due to my preference to stay in the city.” Hotel Representatives:
