• It's okay. The distance to the university we're visiting.
• We're out the whole day and nobody cleaned the room, pick the garbage or change towels.

“I think it's okay. It served the purpose that we need, a place to sleep at night and location is quite convenient.”

• Very luxurious and comfortable rooms.
• Bad location. No restaurants nearby, only other hotels and their parking lots.

“Quality and luxurious rooms but there is nothing in walkable distance from this hotels. The area is surrounded by other hotels and parking lots. Parking at this hotel was also $20 per day.”

“I did not have change for the Bellman. I gave him a $10 bill and I said when I come down I will get change. Within 5 minutes he brought back the change!!”

• new carpets, large rooms, coffee in room, amazing views
• The lobby seemed a bit run down and there were drips as it was raining

“The location is excellent and loved the parking promotion. I was thrilled to step off the elevator to smell the clean fresh new carpeting in the halls and room. Our bathroom was recently done over and there were great spa products in the room. It was a very, very pleasant stay.”

• The hotel was very, very nice. The price of food for breakfast at the restaurant was very unaffordable $15.00 for a waffle.
• The staff would not let you use the luggage cart, to get or move your luggae

“This was a beautiful hotel, locate close to 95, but within walking distance of downtown Philly. You did seem to get treated differently since they knew how you booked your stay with them.”

• The gentleman at the conierge service was amazing and helpful, as was much of the staff we met. excellent location; walking distance to rest/shops.
• Construction project currently underway - although not too inconvenient, a little confusing pulling into the hotel.

• A nice bright hotel with great rooms and a friendly staff.
• Nothing.

“Great hotel the rooms were really bright and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly we had a few drinks at the lobby bar, it was very comfortable. We just really enjoyed this hotel and what an amazing value. Remember to park across the street.”

• Air conditioning not working properly.

“Great location. Air conditioning was not working. We had to call the front desk 4 times before it finally worked properly. Problem with thermostats not communicating with in-room A/C units. Everything else was fine.”

• There is nothing. This place is awful!
• Everything. Dirty, bad service, broken items (AC, lights, bed).

“I surprised my husband for our 10th wedding anniversary. A trip to Philly for 2 days, a massage and dinner at Le Bec Fin. This hotel ruined the entire stay. The elevators were not working correctly, lights were broken in the room, A/C was broken and took 8 hours to send someone up after we called, bed messy and dirty, someone else's body hair in towels, poor customer service, room service always went through to voice mail. This place was so horrible, we left with one day left to stay.”

“The Concierge was very helpful in giving me directions to a local tourist attraction. The bell hop was on the ball and got me a taxi right away. City hotels were all pretty much the same.”

• Long lines to check in, room service took a long time.

“I won't go back. They claimed I did not have a reservation and I then had to go to a location to print my original receipt to prove I had a room reserved. The hotel offered no explanation as to why they did not have my room. This while trying to balance twin boys.”

• The location and in and out parking facility.
• The level of cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

“Overall, the hotel served its purpose. We took a family trip to Philly and were able to easily access the areas we wanted to visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. The issues we had with the hotel are all around aesthetics. Fingerprints all over the doors as soon as you enter the hotel are a poor first impression. The rooms weren't the cleanest either. Even though it appears that the hotel has probably undergone renovations recently (granite/marble bathrooms, the decor is not outdated), the rooms are showing signs of age (e.g.; wallpaper seams are starting to wear). This is not the first time we've stayed at this hotel, but it appears that certain standards have fallen.”

• The front desk staff was helpful and accommodating.
• The thermostat did not work and I froze to death until engineering came up and realized the window heater had to be used in lieu of the thermostat.

“This hotel has a very friendly front desk and guest relations staff. The restaurants are very upscale and the room accomodates the business traveler. I like the roominess of the parking garage as most Philadelphia based hotels have very cramped and poorly lit parking (which raises security concerns). I will come back to this hotel for this high valued price again and again.”

  unexpected/lack of temperature control.

• Downgraded our room from a king and did not reduce the price.

“Everything was good, except for check-in. Bought a king size room and they said one was not available. They only had a double bedroom or a queen handicap room.
Also, the parking was $34 a night.”

• I had to pay extra for internet connection.

“This hotel was very clean and very up-to-date, with clean, comfortable rooms and excellent public spaces. It was located in a safe, centrally located spot in Center City Philadelphia. Being only 2 blocks off the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, it was extremely convenient to museums, restaurants and the business district. I would stay hear again readily.”

“We had a great time during our one night stay. The room was clean and nicely appointed. The location was conveniently located in Center City off of the highway. Parking is $25 for 24 hours, which is about average for parking in that area, but there are cheaper options in other area lots.”

• This is the 2nd time I stayed here.
• I did not like the area.

“Very nice 3 star hotel. We were there for an Eagles game so we needed the lounge to be open and it was most of the time. The employees were friendly and helpful the hotel was clean, but I don't like Center City that much. That's my only complaint.”

“Room 1 had a dirty toilet and someone's flip-flop under the bed, got moved. Room 2- Room was not vacuumed. Room 3 it is now 11pm and I have a 11 year old daughter that took her comforter off only to find a seamen stain on the blanket. Finally moved again to the last room that was also in need of a good vacuumed. This was supposed to be a short family getaway as I do not see them much because I am always on tour, I have stayed in this hotel before and never encountered such negligence of rooms before, I will never stay here again.”
