• Great location and well appointed.
• Expensive parking.

“We had a great time during our one night stay. The room was clean and nicely appointed. The location was conveniently located in Center City off of the highway. Parking is $25 for 24 hours, which is about average for parking in that area, but there are cheaper options in other area lots.”

• This is the 2nd time I stayed here.
• I did not like the area.

“Very nice 3 star hotel. We were there for an Eagles game so we needed the lounge to be open and it was most of the time. The employees were friendly and helpful the hotel was clean, but I don't like Center City that much. That's my only complaint.”

• The quality.
• The elevators moved to fast and others agreed.

“The hotel was clean and had lots of open spaces. It was in the heart of Philadelphia, but not overrun with downtown congestion and the staff was pleasant and helpful.”

• Very nice bar for just hanging out and have a beer. Great restaurant.
• Needs to be updated, hallways are a little dark and elevators are old.

“Room 1 had a dirty toilet and someone's flip-flop under the bed, got moved. Room 2- Room was not vacuumed. Room 3 it is now 11pm and I have a 11 year old daughter that took her comforter off only to find a seamen stain on the blanket. Finally moved again to the last room that was also in need of a good vacuumed. This was supposed to be a short family getaway as I do not see them much because I am always on tour, I have stayed in this hotel before and never encountered such negligence of rooms before, I will never stay here again.”

• It was easy to find and the staff was great in helping us find local attractions.
• The parking was expensive.

“The staff was so fantastic and helpful when it came to finding things to do and places to go. The beds in the rooms were comfortable and we had a gorgeous view of the city from our window. This hotel is definitely a place I would stay again on another trip to Philadelphia!”

• Most comfortable bed ever!
• 30 dollars a day for parking.

“The hotel was great. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Very clean and staff was helpful (gave us restaurant suggestions and helped us navigate around the city). There was a $30 per day fee for parking which seemed a bit much.”

• Good location for museums and public transportation.
• Maid never cleaned the room.

“A big convention hotel with all those advantages and disadvantages if you're not part of the convention scene. The fitness center had a lot of old and worn out equipment, which once might have been adequate but no longer. It also had a racquetball court, which I didn't see used and a small but serviceable lap pool. Our biggest complaint was that the maid never cleaned our room. We left the room at 9 AM (and no, we didn't have the do not disturb sign on the knob) and returned at 9 PM, but the beds had not been made, the trash had not been collected, etc. We called, but the truth is, at that point we were so tired that we didn't want a housekeeper in the room or have to leave it again. This has never happened to me at any other hotel. May be it was a fluke, but the state of cleanliness in the public spaces wasn't all that impressive either.”

• The pool was very relaxing after a hot day outside.
• The bar and the parking were both outrageously overpriced.

“The Sheraton Center City is a great hotel for people looking for a nice place at a price. The hotel isn't very conveniently located, but the rooms are large and well kept. It does offer a small pool. However, the costs of parking and the bar were outrageous.”

• A great location and a fabulous view.
• Our room did not get cleaned by 3pm.

“The brunch at the hotel was excellent, the staff was very friendly (we did not check in until late and they were waiting for us). Our room was comfortable and we had a fabulous view on the 24th floor. The only problem was we were out all day, returned at three p.m. and our room had not been cleaned.”

“Overall, good experience. Location was okay and can easily walk to central Downtown. Parking was a bit pricey compared to neighboring garages but has in/out privileges if you're planning to drive around town. Concierge wasn't too friendly but the check-in registration staff was very accommodating. Hotel was nice and clean throughout and would recommended it to anyone planning to come to Philadelphia.”

“Very big and busy, could hear neighboring guests coming and going from their rooms and using the ice machine. There was dust on the tables and bed-heads but otherwise beds were very big and comfortable. Room was furnished nicely. For the price and location, I would definitely stay there again!”

• Great price for excellent amenities, comfortable bed, as good as much more expensive hotels I have stayed at in the area.
• On the telephone the staff was very abrupt, made me doubt if I wanted to stay there.

“Room was attractive and clean, bathroom was spotless, bed was very comfortable, easy to locate with convenient hotel parking. Was only there one night but was very pleased overall.”

“Although an older hotel, the room has been updated nicely. The hotel is convenient to most attractions and was comfortable. The fellow patrons could be a bit noisy in the corridor outside my room and the desk staff could be a bit more courteous, but overall I had a good experience staying here and would recommend the hotel to friends and family.”

• The concierge's were very helpful, front desk was friendly.
• Initial arrival room coffee pot still had old filter and coffee in it.

“Twice in our 4 night stay came back to room and the key didn't work. No guide to TV channels i.e. 05 = ABC, etc. Buffet breakfast waiter was very good, had to wait twice for the chef to come out of the kitchen to cook my omelet and waffle. Food was good but not great. Waiter was excellent! Not near the historic sites.”

• Moderate price but upscale. You certainly did not ever feel you were in motel 6!
• The parking! Forced valet/self park of $36/day.

“This is a very nice hotel in Center City Philly. The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable, and the view was enjoyable. However, I had to pay $30 to park, $10 to get online, and breakfast was not even free. The A/C in my room did not work, and when I told the front desk person, he thanked me for telling him, instead of apologizing for me being uncomfortable all night. The concierge was extremely nice and helpful, though.”

• The room and the location were excellent. There were taxis waiting for you upon exit.
• Our room had a very bad body odor smell.

“I only had one problem with my stay. Upon entering our room, there was a horrible body odor smell. We called the front desk and had someone come spray. Unfortunately, the spraying didn't take care of the smell. Both of us ended up with headaches. We said something to the front desk again and all they did was apologize. They didn't offer to move us or anything.”

“Great location. However, there was a tattoo convention going on and in our original room we were smelling lots of cigarette smoke. We called the front desk and they had no problems moving us at all! Both rooms had not been dusted in what seemed like months. My son was easily able to draw his name in the headboard of his bed in the dust. Bathrooms were both dusty especially on top of the toilet tank lid. Parking was also a little high at $30.00 for the night.”

“Its not ideal and there were a number of boarded up shops enrooted. But the parking is safe and there were quite a few cars at 10pm on the street. It was not as bad as we perhaps imagined it. The staff was friendly and room was comfortable.”

• Beautiful, spacious room, very clean.
• The air conditioner. Fan blows directly on the bed and doors closing in the hall make a very loud noise that kept me up all night.

“It is a very good quality hotel for a three star hotel. The bedroom is clean and the bed quality is fabulous! Soft and comfortable. They have the basic necessity available, like a hair dryer, etc. There's quite a good view from the window. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Plus there is a free wireless internet access in the lobby!”
