Lisa from New York, NY
“Overall, it was ok. I was expecting the rooms to be larger. There was really nothing to the hotel room. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, but the rest of the room was clean.” Nov 2, 2007 by
Rhonda from Rego Park, NY
“Would not stay here again.” Nov 2, 2007 by
Brenda from Windsor Locks, CT
“Clean comfortable hotel, ideal for business or leisure travelers. Provides chilled water dispensers and bottles to refill and take with you. Great location however with it being in the heart of the city I would have expected valet parking, though a parking garage is located just around the corner. I would definitely stay here again!” Nov 1, 2007 by
Joseph from San Diego, CA
“The club quarters in Philadelphia were very affordable, stylish and comfortable. I would definitely choose it again.” Nov 1, 2007 by
Kent from Aurora, CO
“Downtown hotel where traffic and parking are an issue.” Nov 1, 2007 by
Arthur from Flushing, NY
“Tiny rooms, the major problem with this hotel is, no parking lot what so ever, very difficult to discharge passengers and you have to constantly check your parking meter or figure out where to park your car over night.” Oct 31, 2007 by
Al from Houston, TX
“This hotel was acceptable in terms of cleanliness and location. There were no parking facilities and overall it is less that the 3 star rating allocated to it.” Oct 31, 2007 by
Hunter from Greer, SC
“I was disappointed that this was listed as a three star hotel because it did not pan out to be one. The first room I was given had dirty linens on the bathroom floor, used coffee cups, an unmade bed, etc. When I called the desk they said they would send someone right up. No one ever came. After 15 minutes I called again. When he finally arrived he only said "housekeeping put it in as being cleaned." he took me to another room on another floor. He tried to open the door. The lock would not work. He had to go back to the desk to get a key to open the door. Though this room had been cleaned it is in need of painting. The only service recovery attempted was he said "sorry about the room." another night I asked at the desk if they had complimentary toothpaste and was told that they did. She returned and stated that they were out but she would "check with the boys". Evidently the "boys" did not have toothpaste either so I was directed to the 12th floor vending machine. I had to return to the desk to get change to use in the machine. It just didn't seem that the staff cared whether they met anyone's expectations or not.” Oct 30, 2007 by
Jan from Whitney, TX
“We got a tiny room with no window, like an interior room on a cruise ship; definitely not a 3 star hotel. Also, there was no on site parking. We had to drag out suitcases out from the street and then park a block away.” Oct 24, 2007 by
Laura from Burke, VA
“The hotel was in a great location and had everything you could need. The staff did not try hard to be friendly or welcoming, but did handle everything with great efficiency. Clearly this hotel is geared toward business travelers and I would stay there again for business. It was pretty good for leisure travel, but I might look for someplace more friendlily for my next weekend away.” Oct 24, 2007 by
Connie from Rio Linda, CA
“I like it being right downtown. Everyone was helpful, but the rooms were pretty small. I would probably stay again if the price was right.” Oct 23, 2007 by
Marty from Concord, NH
“I far exceeded my expectations and I thought as well as my son that we were staying at a luxury suite.” Oct 19, 2007 by
Bill from Pensacola, FL
“Excellent hotel, particularly for a single person or business traveler. Adequate for a couple but room was quite small. Outstanding location. Very clean and a very friendly staff.” Oct 18, 2007 by
Don from Clovis, CA
“Good for one night stay. Not romantic. Located on very busy street and hard to access.” Oct 14, 2007 by
Marilyn from Woodstock, CT
“For the second time, Club Quarters gave us what was clearly a single room. Although I was expecting the room to be small (the first one was unmanageably so), I wasn't expecting to find only one (desk) chair, one washcloth, one hand towel, etc. When I returned to the desk to request another room, I was told that all rooms are the same - a claim that is insultingly untrue given the variety of rooms advertised on Club Quarters' web site. It also took two separate trips to the lobby to obtain additional towels and a second, quite utilitarian, chair.” Oct 13, 2007 by
Emile from Watertown, MA
“I found the room well decorated, moderately clean, and quite cramped. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but this is not a hotel for the claustrophobic.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Michael from Chicago, IL
“Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel. I had heard some things that made me think the club quarters was going to be a bad deal, but I was very pleased overall. They had a gym on the 12th floor that was clean, the rooms were very clean, and the free bottled water available on my floor was a really nice touch. I was pleasantly surprised overall.” Oct 9, 2007 by
Alice from Smyrna, TN
“This hotel is a great bargain if you want to stay down town. The rooms & especially the bathrooms are very small, but are fine if you don't plan to spend much time there. The lobby is very nice and has free internet access & printing. I would stay here again.” Oct 9, 2007 by
Linda from Brea, CA
“Great for business traveler. Rooms very small. Would use again for location and price.” Oct 8, 2007 by
Louise from Corona, CA
“Nice lobby with a family room atmosphere, couches, TV, 3 computers and printer. Coffee, tea and ice water always available. Room clean and attractive but only one queen bed, 2 beds not available except twin size. Coffee, fridge and microwave in room. Hairdryer and ironing board. Ice water you can refill yourself with water bottles on each floor. Great hotel.” Oct 7, 2007 by
Karl from Apple Valley, MN
“Great location within Philadelphia close to train lines and convention center and within walking distance to the old historic district.” Oct 1, 2007 by
Chia-Ji from Minneapolis, MN
“Club quarter Philly is just two block away from suburban station and close to a lot of attractions. The free internet and printing service fits my needs. But the room is not totally quiet. The staff is helpful but not very friendly.” Sep 30, 2007 by
Amy from Glen Rock, PA
“For the price paid, a great deal. Room had two twin beds, would have preferred a different sleeping arrangement, the desk staff didnt ask us what we preferred so we just took what they gave us. Security was great; access to guest rooms Is secured through having to swipe your room key In the elevator. Hotel Is very convent to all downtown Philadelphia attractions, within walking distance of almost everything, close access to the train station.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Sep 26, 2007 by
Heather L. from Baltimore, MD
“This hotel is in a prime location - near lots of shopping, restaurants, cafes, and Ritten house Square. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant has been closed for private functions each time I visited (don't be tempted to use the recommended nearby restaurants for room service which provide mediocre or sub mediocre fare). The walls are thin and the rooms are small. Overall, I think I got what I paid for.” Sep 26, 2007 by
Laleh from San Francisco, CA
“Good hotel for the price. Good location, comfortable beds. A bit too noisy.” Sep 26, 2007 by
Kristen from New Britain, CT
“The hotel was very nice. Perfect if you are visiting Philadelphia for the first time it was near everything I wanted to go to. However my only complaint was it was cramped for space.” Sep 26, 2007 by
Raphael from Greensboro, NC
“If you want class, a nice room and a comfortable stay, please do not stay at this hotel. The rooms were the size of a cruise ship. They had the nerve to give me 2 twin beds. I'm one for discounts, but not at the expense of quality. Please do not stay at this horrible hotel, which should be called a motel.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Jack from Washington, DC
“Great location, very professional staff (everyone we encountered was very friendly). Loved Philly and really liked the hotel.” Sep 17, 2007 by
Jenny from Aventura, FL
“A 2 star at the most and that is being very generous.” Sep 17, 2007 by
Alyssa from Aventura, FL
“Not a 3 star was very unhappy.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Sep 13, 2007 by
Tony from Northglenn, CO
“I was charged for an extra person charge, and didn't even stay at the hotel the first night! The front desk couldn't figure out how to fix the error. The room wasn't ready anytime convenient during the day, the internet was very, very slow. The restaurant in the hotel was much overpriced. Will definitely not stay here again nor recommend it to other.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Sep 12, 2007 by
John from Granite Bay, CA
“This is by no means a four star hotel, stay at a Hampton inn for a cheaper and better room. No valet parking, no bar in the hotel, tiny rooms, and small bathroom.” Sep 10, 2007 by
Ted from Fremont, CA
“I would not recommend the hotel because, even though the location was fine and the hotel was neat and clean, the limited room space made it very uncomfortable for someone like me who stays in hotels often and am used to more room space.” Sep 10, 2007 by
Carol from Winchester, MA
“The hotel was clean, convenient and comfortable. Otherwise, it was a good stay.” Sep 10, 2007 by
Scott from San Diego, CA
“About 20-25 years ago, this was probably a nice place to stay. The staff at the desk was very polite but not very competent. But the biggest problem was the room size and quality. Rooms were too small - even for a single traveler. My bed was a single (smaller than a twin bed). No place to unpack or store my clothing. Location was not bad but I will not return because of age and size of rooms.” Sep 9, 2007 by
Norm from Piedmont, CA
“Very pleasantly surprised at quality of room, which was recently renovated, very quiet air conditioner, no noise from street, coffee available all the time. Only reservation was the parking--they use a commercial garage nearby which does not offer in and out privileges. If they could offer latter, hotel would be perfect.” Sep 8, 2007 by
Sharon from Mckinney, TX
“This hotel is definitely not worth the money that I paid for it. I would not stay here again. The staff was not friendly and the hotel is in need of updating. I was disappointed in what I received for what I paid. The restaurant was way overpriced and was not that good. The cheapest entree was $18.00 and this was just an angel hair pasta dish.” Sep 7, 2007 by
Juan from Carolina, PR
“For the special price we paid is more or less acceptable, but for almost the same price we stay 3 more night at the Sheraton and difference was huge. If compared with the Sheraton, the cost should drop to the $70ths level value.” Aug 27, 2007 by
Bob from Garden Grove, CA
“The hotel is in downtown Philadelphia. It is in a safe area of the city and there is plenty of dining, shopping, and pubs in the area.” Aug 27, 2007 by
Mary from Indianapolis, IN
“We stayed at the Club Quarters for 3 nights; we had a suite with a kitchenette, which was nice. It was a nice size room. Clean and comfortable. I would have liked for the parking and unloading to be more convenient.” Aug 27, 2007 by
Edward from Columbia, MD
“Room was surprisingly comfortable. Enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again.” Aug 26, 2007 by
Keith from Barrington, NH
“I have stayed at many 3 star hotels that offered much more than this hotel. This hotel was short on the things I expect from 3 stars. No-one outside to help with bags or hail a cab, no bathrooms in lobby. The bathroom in my room was gross, mold everywhere. Toilet paper holder ripped out of the wall and set back into place. I would never stay at a Club Quarters anywhere, again.” Aug 25, 2007 by
Peter from Chicago, IL
“This is really a business hotel which is nicely done and quite upscale while still being utilitarian.” Aug 20, 2007 by
Kim from Woodbridge, VA
“Hotel was central to all our needs. Parking is a little crazy, made a note on arrival; we checked out by 9 am and got charged $22 for a half a day.” Aug 20, 2007 by
Paul from West Liberty, KY
“They upgraded us at no additional charge to a business suite which was a huge blessing. That made the fact that they had no pool, unloading/loading zone, lobby was on second floor, and its a good 45-minute walk to Independence hall easier to swallow. I was scared to death after reading reviews on other websites about this hotel, but we found it to be clean and the room great. We stayed for three days and as we were checking out the showerhead broke and the window sheers fell down (maybe you shouldn't stay more than three days). Overall, club quarters were a great value. Don't expect any frills, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone except business travelers.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Aug 18, 2007 by

“Club Quarters was an ok value for the money we spent on it. I would not rate this hotel a 3-Star. There are too many deficient areas to warrant this rating. Being downtown, I understand why there is no pool but other 3-Star hotels in the area did have one, although they were much more expensive. The rooms were small but clean, the bathrooms are a bit small but not bad. I really liked the Wi-Fi being available in the rooms. The worst part of this hotel is its parking, or actually the lack there-of. They have no place to park if you are driving. You have to park at the mall garage across the street at $28.00 a day and no validation for a better rate. I would have thought they would have negotiated a better rate with someone in the area, or at least have valet so you don't have to lug your luggage to the hotel from the basement garage. An improvement in the parking arrangement would vastly improve the value of this hotel and make it likely to recommend it in the future. As of now I would not recommend this hotel to a friend.” Aug 13, 2007 by
Kelly from Roanoke, VA
“Parking was convenient though expensive. Accommodations were adequate for our purposes as we were gone for most of the day and only slept there. Air conditioning in rooms was turned off during the day and took more than an hour for the room to cool off upon return. When I awoke in the morning room temp was above 80 even though thermostat was set at 74. Staff was courteous.” Aug 12, 2007 by
Ernest from Wesley Chapel, FL
“CQ is a concept I can appreciate. Nothing fancy. Clean room. Great location. Great price. Services are limited, but staff friendly. No bill is provided which is a tad odd. Morning coffee and bottled water machines are a nice touch. I would stay here again.” Aug 12, 2007 by
Art from South River, NJ
“This a business hotel with small rooms and bathrooms. The parking is in a garage across the street.” Aug 4, 2007 by
Sandie from Ottawa, IL
“I liked the safety of the hotel (room card required to go up elevator). I did not like the small size of the room or bathroom. The bathroom had a stand up shower only and very little counter space. It was clean, but I didn't like the downtown location. There are hotels with better locations in the city.” Hotel Representatives:
