• The restaurant was nice.
• The room decor was dated and worn.

“It was a pleasant place. Parking was nasty, but that is everywhere in the city. The lobby decor was nice but the rooms were dated and worn out. There was a lot of noise, trash trucks, sirens, doors slamming, voices.”

• In & out privileges in parking garage.
• Bed bugs - room filthy & very, very small.

“This was unlike any other Sheraton in which I've stayed. The room was tiny & dirty; we saw a couple of small bedbugs. We ordered room service 5 times - not once was it delivered correctly. Had to hold on the phone for long periods of time to order room service & for concierge/housekeeping requests.”

• Good location in University City; easy walk into Center City Philadelphia and to train station.
• Slack service all around, though front desk team was friendly and accommodating.

“Mostly typical of an older Sheraton property: Nice, traditionally-decorated lobby and somewhat updated guest rooms with good, non-Center City Philadelphia location. Wear and tear throughout a little more noticeable that I expected, but it was the gaps in service that really surprised me: my room not being made up on two days until after 2 p.m.; a tray of obviously used glassware and utensils left in the room after housekeeping had come and gone twice; disinterested and uninvolved attendant in the club floor breakfast room with meager breakfast items that ran out early (virtually down to crumbs before 8 a.m. ).”

• Great beds and pillows! Having internet in the room was exceptional! We will be back!
• Set up of the room (1 queen bed) was hard to walk around in with computer desk so close to bed.

“We love the parking option for this hotel since the city is so hard to park in. Being located in University City, walking to and from places was easy and convenient, especially knowing our car was safe.”

• The location was convenient to UPenn and downtown.

“We called two weeks before to request a mini-fridge and a king bed, neither of which were recorded or available upon our arrival (we did eventually get a fridge). The hotel is undergoing renovations, and we apparently were in an unrenovated room. The carpets were old and faded and there was paint chipping in the bathroom. Definitely not a 3 star hotel.”

“For meeting people at Penn, great convenience, room well equipped, view awful plus very noisy dumpster removal in middle of night and also could hear everything in both rooms on either side of me. Lobby attractive, front desk staff on the ball and well prepared and organized. Would definitely stay there again.”

• Lots of pillows and cozy bed. Plus we had 2 beds.
• It was a mess!

“Fortunately the beds looked freshly made, but there were open shampoo containers in the shower, open, used soap at the sink, half consumed hot tea at the coffee station, with all the wrappings and used napkins surrounding it. The trash cans were full of trash. We had traveled all day and got there late, so I assumed it was probably an employee that had used the room, or that the maid forgot to come back and finish. But, since there were no personal belongings and the beds look freshly made we just locked the door and hoped it was truly vacant.”

• Staff gave us a coupon for parking when they didn't have the room requested.
• No indoor pool, high parking fees $15/day.

“Beautiful hotel-never been disappointed in the rooms or hotel of a 3 star, nice staff, no indoor pool, expensive food, no free breakfast (family's need this), college area-lots of drinking in and around hotel. Many nice restaurants and stores nearby. High parking cost $15/day.”

• Front desk people had excellent information about area and happy to share also the wifi worked well.
• Some drilling noise then the had front desk checked and assured it would end by 6 p.m. and it did.

“Facilities seemed a bit tired, but the room and hotel were clean and functional. I appreciated the little touch of the power strip on the desk which enabled chargers, etc to be plugged in without floor crawling and lamp unplugging. Wifi worked well in the room. The people at the front desk were excellent, accurate and helped to give information in a friendly way.”

• It was very close to the university of Pennsylvania and in a good neighborhood.
• The hotel seemed a little less fancy than expected form the Sheraton name.

“It served my purpose as it was very close to the unit of Pennsylvania. The location was good. I checked-in at 11pm-but that was ok. The room had a personal desk top computer with free internet access! The room was big with 2 double beds, the bathroom was good-toiletries were provided.”

• Staff was friendly; rooms were spacious and quiet, close to the subway.
• Bottom sheet didn't fit bed and kept bunching up; lame fitness centre.

“Close to the trolley, subway, regional rail and University, this hotel is also a pleasant 30 minute walk from Downtown Philadelphia. Spacious, quiet rooms offer city views and include a small fridge and HDTV. Friendly and helpful staff.”

“I attended a concert nearby and needed a place to stay overnight. The hotel was located close to the concert and within walking distance of the 30th Street station (I traveled by train). It's at the Drexel University campus area so it is very convenient for college-aged parents. Safe, good area; great experience.”

“We needed to stay in the university area, so it was the best option geographically. The room was really dirty and very small, the mattresses are old and uncomfortable, the pillows are polyester foam, and the heating unit was extremely loud. Definitely more like a 1 star hotel rather than a 3 star as they claim.”

• It location was excellent to where I needed to go.

“The hotel is great if you are taking the USMLE step 2 CS exam as the test center is about a 5 min walk away. Besides that, I do not feel it is worth the 4 star prices I paid to stay in it.”

• We got plastic cups to replace glass ones on day two.

“The Hotel was close to a hospital where a relative was having surgery. Instead of having a long ride during rush hour the relative stayed at the hotel and had a quick two block ride. It was very restful and comfortable.”

• You had a parking pass for the garage where you could park for $15 day. However you could come and go as you please.
• The bathroom could have been updated/cleaned up a bit.

• I could not sleep at all due to the very noisy climate control. Also, the sheets were very uncomfortable.

• Not close to Bryn Mawr. Placed in the wrong area on your map.

“The hotel was fine for the short time we were there. This is not the place to stay if you are visiting colleges in other areas. Late night service lacked information about area, though morning team was better.”

• I liked the quality of the bedding, the wireless internet/computer in the room, and the spaciousness of the room.
• I did not like that parking was an additional cost which was not told to me at check in and poor marking of how to enter the parking garage.

“Where you park is not clearly marked and requires you enter via a side street. Entering the garage however was positive as it was clean and well lit despite the Narrow spacing. The lobby and room were very nice and promoted a relaxed atmosphere. Staff was friendly however failed to inform me of the $15/day additional expense for parking at check in. The room service staff were pleasance the and food was good. The bed and other facilities in the room were nice and particularly enjoyed having the computer in our room so we could check email or check out area sites.”
