• Loved the location, close to UPenn.
• Did not like location of our room -- view of roof/building.

• Lack of hairdryer in room.

• The friendly staff.
• There was nothing I did not like.

“From the moment we spotted the hotel, nestled in the campus, serene yet convenient we were excited and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, the rooms were large, clean, and updated. The air conditioning worked perfectly. We cannot wait to return to Philly just for the Inn at Penn.”

• Friendly staff and they were attentive to see that the room was well kept.
• The view from my room was rather industrial.

“I thought the hotel was great and very conveniently located close to Univ of Pennsylvania. The staff was courteous and when our toilet clogged, someone came right up to fix it. The beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. The overall look of the room was rather plush especially the pillows. The staff checked with us daily to make sure the room was clean and everything was in order. It was and I thought it was a really nice hotel.”

• More equipment in exercise room.

“Excellent facility, conveniently located in university district of Phila, walking distance to 30th street Amtrak station. Tasteful and understated. Excellent service. Loved it.”

• Location felt safe and was convenient to public transportation to city center. Very clean and plush - an excellent accommodation.
• Concierge recommended a restaurant that was way out of our price range; double beds were not big enough.

“The Hilton Inn at Penn was a great hotel. All staff was very courteous. The room was attractive, clean, comfortable and except for the double beds (which were a little too small for a good night's sleep), everything met or exceeded our expectations.”

• Small bathrooms, fee for wireless Internet.

“Outside of having to pay for wireless Internet, the overall experience was great. The staff was helpful and quick to respond to anything I needed, and the location was pretty convenient.”

“Clean, attractive decor, excellent ambience, located in the heart of the University of Pennsylvania. This establishment was well staffed with attentive personnel. $15 cab ride to Penn's Landing or South Street. Would highly recommend for weekend getaway to Philly on a budget.”

• Great food. Gorgeous public spaces.
• Queen sized beds would have been better than doubles.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Location was nice - near a great bookstore and some good shopping. The restaurant had exceptionally good food and a wonderful wait staff.”

• Rooms need to be inspected every time e.g. heating system.

• Located in U of Penn. Clean, nice rooms.
• Strange lobby setup. Two entrances not connected.

“It is a nice stay, a little better than most Hiltons. Quiet. Nice views. Very clean. Wide corridors. Good elevators. The location is fantastic if you're visiting the University of Pennsylvania. Good wireless service. The hotel has two entrances and you need to climb the stairs to reach the lobby (there are elevators.) The entrances are not connected; you need to go up, cross the lobby then down. The restaurant inside is also a bit off, but the hotel has two very good restaurants adjacent, so this is not a problem. The bar is awfully quiet, more like a large cozy living room- great to work in.”

• It was a very nice small hotel. It was close enough to most landmarks.
• The parking was pricey either for valet or for yourself, and the hotel was hard to find from the highway.

“Pleasant decor, well designed rooms, good concierge service. Needs better extras, and parking a problem.”
