• Think my room had bed bugs lots of bites on my arms.

• The bed was very comfortable, shower good.
• No complaints at all.

“We were impressed with the quality of the bed and linens, and although we had stayed at the same hotel three years earlier, felt the place had improved considerably. Food in the restaurant (had breakfast there) was fairly priced and the coffee very good.”

• They upgraded me to the suite and it was fabulous. My husband flew in and met me for a great weekend.
• I was there for school and needed to print and none of the printers worked in the business center and no one knew how to take a flash drive and print.

“Pretty good, not great food in the restaurant, but the location was great for my needs, and the employees were superbly nice, need some computer training, but overall a good experience.”

• The staff seems much more customer oriented now that it is a Crowne Plaza property.
• The mattresses felt cheap.

• Although the lobby was very crowded, the rooms were quiet.
• Could smell the chlorine in the lobby from the pool - a real turnoff.

• Nice facilities and quick check in/out.
• Bed and pillows not comfortable. It took 10 minutes to be told I couldn't have change.

“The hotel walk in was nice. The parking situation with a TGI Fridays sharing it was not pleasant. Hotel staff were very friendly and efficient except when I kept being ignored when I needed change for the vending machines. We did not experience breakfast in the hotel as it was a bit pricey. Nice pool area. Bed and pillows were not comfortable. It is priced a little high for the quality of the room and amenities.”

“The hotel looked nice but when I was in the shower, the tub was clogged and nasty debris began coming from the drain. When I called the front desk and housekeeping for assistance, I had to wait until after 9 am for someone to fix. After the plumbing problem was fixed, I had to request to have the tub cleaned to take a shower. The staff was not helpful at all.”

• The location was nice and you didn't have to pay for city parking of internet.
• They didn't have our booking, they were rude, the food was bad, and room service was cold, we were supposed to be reimbursed but they lied.

“It was nice they said they put us in a newer room but it wasnt that great. It had a nice gym and pool but the staff wasn't great at all. The restaurant breakfast was bad. Room service was cold and staff seemed very disorganized.”

• We had requested a king size bed and they did not have one available.

“We only slept there. We were a little disappointed because I called in advance to have 2 queens in one room and a king in the other. We ended up with 2 double beds in each.”

• Great customer service upon check in, little bag filled with ear plugs, linen spray, and other goodies sitting on your bed.
• Parking was a bit scarce with other businesses that can easily eat up parking spaces, but clears out as the night progresses.

“Overall extremely happy with the hotel, great facility, clean, excellent staff, and great internet connection. Would stay here again if I return to Philadelphia.”

• The toilet overflowed and we weren't able to shower.

“We had a wonderful time. The hotel employee's were nice. The only bad thing I experienced was the toilet overflowing and not being able to take a shower because of the tub being stopped up.”

• Hotel staff was more than accommodating. Lovely people even at 2am on New Years!
• Sprite ran out in the vending machines.

“WONDERFUL! Didn't yell at us when we called 15 times to the front desk to ask if any restaurants would still deliver at 2am on New Years. Very pleasant. Awesome room, very clean. Great bed. .”

• Pool and spa was freezing, it has been inspirational for at least a week.

“Hotel was centrally located (via alternate back roads that avoided the hassle of I-76) to all points of interest in Phyla. I found the hotel to be clean and well appointed. Coffee service in room nice but only if you are a coffee drinker, with all the money the hotel has invested why not some tea or at least available bags at the desk. I must comment on the absolutely friendly and accommodating staff a real pleasure! I would stay at this property again.”

• Shabby; seemed to be a bit down-market for this star level; not all non smoking.

“This hotel is transitioning in to a Crowne plaza. It is hard to believe that they will be able to attain the level of quality one would expect for the fees a crowned plaza will charge. The hotel seemed rather old and tired and the room was a bit worn and not pristine. The staff, however, could not have been nicer. The people we dealt with, both at checking and checkout, were helpful and friendly.”

• Generally, some of the staff was helpful.
• Room didn't feel clean. Musty. Bathroom had mold spores on walls and rust stains in tub.

“Overall unhappy with this hotel. Generally, it was dirty, difficult to sleep during the night due to noise from other guests; very poor water pressure in the shower, and the location was so. I felt like they had done a cheap rehab on the rooms by covering up worn out dirty walls and flooring.”

• The bartenders were very friendly-happy hour was nice, too.
• The pool was closed on the 1st day--due to a party the night before.

• The bed was very comfortable and the temperature of the room was pleasant/manageable.
• I did not like that my room wasn't cleaned. I did not like how the front desk treated me & my reservation. In the end, it worked out, but with stress.

“The room satisfied my need, i.e., a place to sleep. However, the location was a distance from the city - you needed to know public transportation or have a car to go back and forth. Seemed very disorganized.”

• Clean and cozy feel to it overall and the staff was always friendly.
• Only problem was that I booked this hotel for the pool and it was under renovation-wasn't mentioned online which it should have been.

“Over all it was great but the down side was this trip was for my son and his only request was an indoor pool. When we got to the hotel the pool was closed and under renovation-not open till the end of the month. ”
