“Overall, I had a great time at the hotel. My purpose of stay went smoothly.” Jan 31, 2008 by
Nathan from Buffalo, NY
“I was pleased with the hotel. I always enjoy my stay at Extended Stay America because the rooms are always clean and the hotel quite no matter if it's in Los Angels or Philadelphia. The rooms are a comfortable size, and I like that they always have a nice comfortable chair and ottoman for watching TV and kitchenette with large fridge. I find the rates reasonable.” Jan 29, 2008 by
Robert from Shamokin, PA
“Staff great, was close and easy to arena. Bathtub had some stray hairs in it (only complaint really), lobby was nice, and kitchenette would be great if stayed longer.” Jan 21, 2008 by
Carol from Chesapeake, VA
“Extended stay is fairly good. However, the customer service can be better as well as room accommodations.” Jan 21, 2008 by
Lyle from Atlantic City, NJ
“It's a 1 star economy hotel. You get what you pay for.” Jan 18, 2008 by
Jason from St Peters, MO
“This hotel really needs an airport van since it is considered an airport hotel!” Jan 18, 2008 by
David from Stoddard, NH
“The staff was very friendly. They were extremely helpful in getting me from the airport to the hotel. They gave me some tips that saved me money. The hotel room and the common spaces were not very clean. The towels and the shower in the room were dingy, so much so, that I didn't use the shower.” Jan 16, 2008 by
Terri from Doswell, VA
“I would not recommend this hotel - the room had holes in the walls, no hairdryers and was very dirty. There was only 1 restaurant in the area. Hotel staff was too busy talking on cell phones and hanging out with friends (non employees) to answer questions or provide any service.” Dec 29, 2007 by
Ahmad from Brooklyn, NY
“Convenient but not so clean.” Dec 29, 2007 by
Al from Springfield, VA
“I was given a key to an occupied room resulting in a great deal of yelling. The entire place smelled like cigarette smoke. One thin blanket with no bedspread. Very low class!” Dec 17, 2007 by
Hirenkumar from Glendale Heighs, IL
“The hotel which you provided me was providing the same room at only 50$/night. And you charged me 77.81.the self experience is the best experience. There was not soap, shampoo, shower gel or face wash or tooth paste in the room. Heater was not working properly. Cockroaches were roaming here and where. After all the great experience at extended stay America. Philadelphia.” Dec 13, 2007 by
Johnny from Houston, TX
“I am very pleased with the hotel and the overall experience was great. I only used the room to sleep in and it was very quiet.” Dec 12, 2007 by
Krishna from Elmhurst, NY
“This hotel though rated 1 star should not allow functioning or existing. Even minimum facilities and services are not provided.” Nov 26, 2007 by
Ron from Cincinatti, OH
“The hotel had very poor conditions in the rooms. The linen on the bedding was used; bed was not good for support to the back. The restroom was not equipped towels, soap etc.” Nov 26, 2007 by
Michael from Huntington, NY
“It was a great choice for me because I had a 5 a.m. flight out of the Philadelphia airport. The location was wonderful, about 5 minutes and I was at the airport.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 8, 2007 by
Kathy from Thornton, CO
“It was perfectly adequate.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 7, 2007 by
Harry from Hummelstown, PA
“Although the staff was helpful and friendly, this hotel fell far below my expectations. Light fixtures didn't work, cigarette burns on bed cover, drafty windows, holes and patches on walls. I do not recommend this hotel as it will disappoint.” Nov 2, 2007 by
Steve from Dallas, TX
“The first room I tried had a bath leak. There was a huge lake of water coming out of the bath and into the entry. The room in which I stayed had sticky floors. The table top was covered with spilled soft drink that had not been wiped up. The TV and remote were at the end of their life cycles. I slept in my clothes because with all that I had observed, I really didnt trust that the bedding was clean.” Nov 1, 2007 by
Kevin from Durham, NC
“In general, it is quiet, clean and comfortable as a 1 2 star hotel. I'll recommend it. But people who want to the airport should be very careful, they don't have shuttle and the taxi seems not willing to come for this short trip. As in my case, I waited 30 minutes for a taxi to come, and it's just because somebody took that taxi to a hotel nearby. Worse, the driver asked for $15 for this 1 mile trip. You don't have choice at all.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 27, 2007 by

“If you need a no frills place to crash or conduct business from, this hotel will do it. For the price level, I was pleased with the kitchenette. Everything was fairly new and clean.” Oct 25, 2007 by
Lana from White Plains, NY
“Overall I am satisfied with my stay.” Oct 22, 2007 by
Billy from Hollidaysburg, PA
“The location was good, but the rooms werent clean and there was a funny smell.” Oct 18, 2007 by
Johari from Philadelphia, PA
“The ESA is a low priced stay however the rooms are filthy. My room the tub had about 10 pounds of filth in it and the floor wasn't swept. My whole sat morning was wasted because I couldn't wash because of a dirty tub. The cooking utensils and coffee pot were dirty. Room service lied and says they thoroughly cleaned the room however they didn't.” Oct 14, 2007 by
John from Orange, CA
“Slum.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Lana from White Plains, NY
“Overall, everything was fine. Room was very dirty, bathroom was filled with hair all over the place, bed sheets were not clean. But the staff was very nice and switched me to a different room.” Oct 3, 2007 by
Steven from Savannah, GA
“Way over booked the non smoking rooms and put people into smoking rooms.” Oct 2, 2007 by
Shamara from Philadelphia, PA
“The hotel was clean and easy to get to.” Oct 1, 2007 by
Kelly from Philadelphia, PA
“I would not stay in an extended stay America without seeing it first. Upon my arrival, after a long day at the office, there was a run down dirty bathroom with urine in the toilet. I called the front desk several times and there was no answer. I did check in at approx. 9:30pm, however, no one answered. Also, I would never even consider using the kitchen area which was a all stayed and the laminate on the counter was nasty and falling apart. I also called the front desk again at approx. 10pm to schedule a wake up call an there was again no answer. The front desk was friendly when I checked in and out; however, the condition of the room and the lack of response on the phone speaks for itself. I was disappointed in the condition of the room and I would never choose this hotel again.” Sep 23, 2007 by
Gregory from Delray Beach, FL
“There is no van service to and from the airport for this hotel. An airport hotel should provide transportation.” Sep 22, 2007 by
Celeste from Punta Gorda, FL
“Great for business travelers and longer stay needs. Very pleasant staff.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Pin from N. Babylon, NY
“An excellent hotel in a convenient location. Good price to meet almost all my requirements. It's like home that nobody will enter to clean your room and you clean the room yourself.” Aug 17, 2007 by
Kenneth from Bermuda, NY
“Hotel is near Philadelphia airport, around 5 to 10 mines by cab. There is no shuttle from the hotel to the airport. To go to the centre city, best way is to walk around 10 mines to the train station and take the train which is coming from the airport and which takes around 15 mines to arrive in the city centre. There is also a guy who is guest in the hotel who has a taxi and can take you to the airport or city centre for a cheaper price. Hotel room was quite big and had a kitchen. My room was also clean, but I heard another guest complaining about his room cleanliness. There is a restaurant ruby Tuesday 5 mines away from the hotel. The hotel reception and main door are closed by 11pm, so you cannot stay late! When I came the first receptionist was not very helpful, probably because she was busy or tired. The receptionist of the next day was much better.” Aug 15, 2007 by
Ricki from Ponca City, OK
“Room was good for the price I paid. However, I went down to a 1-star which was my mistake. I felt it was definitely a 1-star & no more. The room keys they gave us at 3:15 am would not work in the door. Then a man opened the door while I stood outside waiting with the luggage while my husband had gone downstairs to get the key fixed. I felt extremely uncomfortable & unsafe at that hour by myself in Philadelphia. Then they gave us another room with no keys. The attendant spoke almost no English. Not my best moment!” Aug 15, 2007 by
Stephenie from Chandler, AZ
“It was perfect for what we needed. A clean room for 2 nights!” Aug 15, 2007 by
Lisa from Charleston, WV
“Based on my stay this trip, I would never return to this hotel. There was dirt and hair in every corner of the room, in the tub and in the sink, especially the bathroom and behind the front door to the room. There was a sickening sweet odor, as if someone had had a dog in the bathroom, and the safety latch at the top of the door was broken, making me feel very unsafe here. We were told the hotel was full, so we didn't get another room. The hotel does not have double beds, so we were not very comfortable. I was surprised because I have heard good things about this chain, but I will never stay at this one again and would not recommend it. In fact, I would like to receive at least a partial refund on this stay.” Aug 15, 2007 by
Christopher A. from Fort Lauderdale, FL
“I was impressed from the location to the room decor and friendliness of the staff. And the internet rate per/stay vs. per/day was most impressive. Thanks for understanding our business needs in this computer world we live in and not taking advantage of the low cost for this service.” Jul 30, 2007 by
Judy from Northwood, NH
“Staff was very helpful. Hotel is near airport, a little difficult to find. In safe, quiet area. Kitchenette is always useful.” Jul 29, 2007 by
Dissapointed! from Mohrsville, PA
“The worst hotel I have ever been in. Very dirty. Very poor cleanliness. We put do not disturb and they were banging on the door at 9 a.m. trying to get us out. Very dissatisfied! Very poor and very dirty, shame on the management there!” Jul 10, 2007 by
Aimee from Hershey, PA
“Amenities were lacking. No internet service as it was 'broken' but even had it been available it would have been with a surcharge.” Jul 8, 2007 by
Eric from Philadelphia, PA
“I booked this hotel for my friends' family who's in town for a visit. Aside from the fact that they were having problems with the air conditioning of the place, security is a major, major issue. 2 men were able to go inside the room, with their own keycards and were looking for the "personal belongings" they forgot when they checked out of the hotel. My friend, his wife and his 2 year old were all shocked and unhappy (who would be?). They ended not sleeping through the night. The manager was apologetic, but still totally unacceptable, embarrassing and traumatic.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 4, 2007 by
Diane from Lancaster, PA
“The room was okay but smelled like smoke even though it was a no-smoking room. The hallway was run down and things seemed to be falling apart.” Jul 3, 2007 by
Myles from North Chelmsford, MA
“Had 2 day on separate reservations. Showed both reservations and asked for one room. This was given with 2 days assured. Returned next day after midnight and room had been re-let. My clothes were gone and could not be returned. I had been checked out; day staff was gone, computer down. Finally got a new room. Later a reservation for 1 day -- entirely different room was produced. We checked it; my affairs were not there either. I stayed put for a couple of hours sleep before an early flight out. Worst hotel experience I ever had. Do I have any recourse for my loss?” Jul 2, 2007 by
John D. from Holland, MI
“Staffs helpfulness and disposition significantly improved an already stellar experience.” Jul 1, 2007 by
A from Windsor, NY
“The hotel was fine and would have been okay had I been traveling alone. I was traveling with my 18 year old son and requested two beds and non-smoking via email within 2 minutes of receiving my confirmation. We checked in after 10 PM, following a baseball game and were told that our room was non smoking, but my son would have to share my bed or else sleep on the floor. Blankets, pillows, and sheets were quickly provided, but it is ridiculous that a simple request like this was not granted, given the time allowed for it.” Jun 18, 2007 by
Stacy from Royal Oak, MI
“In one word this hotel was swanky. The desk clerk was banging on our door before checkout time to make sure we were leaving. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and the comforter was obviously dirty. There was very smelly garbage sitting in the hallway for over 12 hours. Everything in the hotel needed updating. This was the worst sea I've ever stayed in.” Jun 18, 2007 by
Keith from Suwanee, GA
“They said I registered for smoking and 'we' didn't. They just gave me the room because they had no other and we got our rooms ahead of time. So I had to go to another hotel because the room reeked with smoke and the hotel agent was very rude.” Jun 16, 2007 by
Anthony from Detroit, MI
“The help is horrible and the hotel doesn't even clean your room consistent.” Jun 7, 2007 by
William from Portland, OR
“The staff was great; very hospitable. The hotel was on the main road from the airport so very convenient. It was just what I needed as I passed through for one night.” Jun 5, 2007 by
Danette from Newtown Square, PA
“I was very upset when staff walked into my room in the morning, indicating I had to leave and it was not my room. When I surely had a key that was given to me the night before when checking in.” Jun 2, 2007 by
Frank from Wellington, FL
“I only stayed one night. I checked in at 11 pm and out by 8 am so it was not bad. I would not want to stay for a couple of days.” Hotel Representatives:
