“Nice hotel, convenient to the highway and mall across the street as well as many local places to eat. Microwaves and fridge in room with coffee maker makes it easy to bring food and drinks from home. Clean and comfy room. Great bed.”

• Suite type rooms are always great.
• The carpet could have been cleaner.

• Clean, convenient, and comfortable.
• The indoor pool area was too warm.

“For the price, it's definitely worth it. The staff was friendly and in room amenities were very nice. Depending on events going on at the hotels (there was a wedding the weekend I was there), it can be a little noisy, but not bad. Overall, it's a great place and I would stay there again.”

• I loved the bag of treats they gave us when we first arrived. Fitness room was a great benefit.
• 5th floor vending machine was jammed with money. Floor below gave water instead of soda. No toothbrush at front desk.

• The room was gorgeous and exceeded my expectations!
• Can be quite loud. You could hear people out in the hall/foyer to well.

“The hotel was so nice we changed our plans so we could stay in the area and spend more time at the hotel. It was a nicer hotel. I made sure when we got home to highly recommend it. The rooms were clean, spacious and the staff were very friendly.”

• The staff bent over backwards to make sure I was happy.
• It was loud on New Years Eve.

• Very warm, friendly, and accommodating staff. Extremely clean facility. Open atrium provides so much comfort and peace.
• My room was cold! Even after the maintenance personnel serviced the mechanical unit.

“Our room was not clean. Urine on the toilet seat, candy wrapper on the floor, etc. Only 10 luggage carts for the entire hotel; when we arrived, none were available.”

• Exercise facilities and close to my local office.
• The room didn't have a refrigerator.

“Nice hotel. I was given one of the worst rooms in the hotel. My room did not have a refrigerator and engineering told the front desk that my room would not support a refrigerator. Given that I was traveling for a week, a refrigerator is practically a necessity. I left my exercise gloves in the fitness center and did not realize they were missing until the next day. I checked with the front desk and they did not have them in the lost and found. My assumption is that whoever found them threw them in the garbage. My experience this stay was far below my expectations with respect to the Doubletree brand of hotels.”

• The price fit my budget perfectly. I liked that it had a microwave and fridge.
• It is located in a business park and a little difficult to find the first time.

• The overall ambience of the hotel and common areas is just beautiful.
• Room smelled disgustingly of smoke & furniture was worn out; if I was to be there for more than 1 night, I would have requested a room change.

• Decent size suite, sleeps 4+.
• Poor ventilation in bedroom.

“Hotel itself is quite good, exceeding my expectations. We only stayed for one night, no time to enjoy all facilities or dining. We were 2 adults with 2 kids and were afraid to get a small room but actually had a suite good for 4 or more people (thanks Margaret!). Free Internet access, nice pool with sauna (was too late to enjoy), friendly staff. The only minus - poor ventilation in bedroom. Air conditioning worked only for living room (was even too cold there) but not in bedroom, opening a door did not help much. Was it only this room - no idea.”

“We have stayed at a number of hotels in the area (Scanticon Valley Forge, Sheraton Valley Forge, Marriot Conshohocken) and liked this hotel the very best! When you check in they give you an amazingly delicious chocolate chip cookie, they are very helpful, the hotel room is a suite so baby has his own room and it is very clean.”

• The service at the front desk. They were warm, courteous and understanding.
• There was nothing that I didn't like about my stay. There were just too many things that went wrong in my day that they helped to sooth.

• Plenty of room: pull out couch with a TV in one room, a flat screen TV in the bedroom. Microwave, fridge and coffee pot. With a college kid, perfect!
• Housekeeping forgot to leave us coffee and cups, vents in the bathroom needed to be cleaned, otherwise ok.

“The hotel worked perfectly for us, close to our daughter's school and enough room for her to stay after she had to be out of her apt. Right off the highway and easy access to Phili made it great! Nice fitness equipment and a beautiful pool. Food was good. Family place. Would stay there again.”

• Accommodations were clean, liked having the suite.
• Room service food was poor.

“I'd like to start by saying that overall I enjoyed my stay. However, there were some minor quibbles. 2 of the doors in the suite (bathroom door and bedroom door) did not close properly because they were warped. I had hoped to use them to keep my toddler out of those rooms. Also, one outlet was not working, so I had to use a different one to iron my clothes. Again, minor problems that would not affect most travelers. However, the food from room service was expensive (which was to be expected), and pretty poor quality. Luckily there are several good restaurants in the area. In summary, I liked the hotel, but did not like the food, eat out.”

• Very nice rooms and lobby clean pool.
• Housekeeping walked in the room 10 min after we checked in!

“Nice local, great rooms. Jacuzzi was not working though and pool was very cold but clean. Needs some minor fix up, such as carpets had tape on them but they were working on things. Nice place.”

• We had a suite. Great for traveling with our teenager, he had his own bedroom.
• The hotel was being renovated, the common areas and some hallways/rooms were a mess.

• I liked the warm cookies at check in.
• I disliked the acrid air freshener smell masking the smoky odor in my room.

“I would have enjoyed my stay more if there had not been a cheap sportswear convention that turned the 6th and part of the 7th floors of the hotel into a "mall" that looked like it was from the streets of Hong Kong. • Spacious and natural light in the atrium. The bed was extremely comfortable.
• Undergoing renovations. The work began at 8:30 on the floor above me.

• The hot tub is much too hot for enjoyment.

“Overall this hotel is a very good value. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are large with the living room and bedroom areas separated by a privacy door. The bar and restaurant, although a little expensive, do serve a quality product, in a nice atmosphere. This hotel would be excellent for all types of stays from business to leisure.”

• I liked that the bedroom was separate from the living room.
• They didn't clean the room even once over my entire stay.

“I had been told that upon arrival at the Doubletree guests are given welcome bags that contain waters and fruit and cookies, and the person who checked in before us was given one and we were not. That being said, I loved the fact that the bedroom was separated from the living area by a door, and that each area had it's own television. Great for traveling with kids. I also loved that there was a microwave and a fridge. However, I spent three nights four days there and my room was never cleaned. Not once. I complained to the manager when I left, and he assured me the general manager would be in touch, and he never was. On my last day, I looked under the bed to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything and was surprised to see that a lot of other people had forgotten items. It was obvious the room wasn't cleaned before we checked in.”

• They happened to be over-sold and they put me in a conference suite on the first floor. No living space, instead a conference table. Too noisy!

• The dirty pool, floor coverings, and loud lobby after hours.

“We have been staying at this hotel for about 6 years. This was a very disappointing stay. The cleaning staff seemed to take the weekend off. The pool area was disgusting with dirty towels, water on the floor and broken tiles. The treadmills and exercise bikes were broken. The entry area, lobby, elevators and hallway floors were unwept. The room needed maintenance with dripping faucets, dirty sinks and shower head with low pressure. The server in the lobby bar forgot the beverage order even though there was only one other group in the bar. The wedding that was held there shouted and screamed in the atrium lobby well past 1:30am keeping us from having a good night sleep. Not a good experience at all.”

• Very convenient to freeway access. And the chocolate chip cookies at check in. Very homey touch.
