• This hotel chain delivers on quality and service and this hotel was no exception.
• The layout of this hotel creates difficult access to the lobby, pool, and fitness area.

“From check-in to check-out the staff was accommodating and service-oriented. A significant and diverse breakfast buffet and studio-style room makes this hotel a good choice for business travelers, leisure travelers, and families. Train station is within easy walking distance for trips to Philadelphia.”

“One setback with this hotel is that it is near the train tracks. I enjoyed my stay, the staff were helpful, the facilities were convenient and accomodating. I was grateful for the free breakfast and internet service.”

• Close to my husband's job.

“The staff was not professional when we asked for direction to the attractions. The Staff was not as friendly as they were last time were there. There was too many new faces and the rooms were not clean as they could be and there was hair in the bed and the refrigerator. The front desk night person was really rude when checking in like we bothered him my husband will not be returning to this hotel and he is staying else where. Beware of this hotel not a good choice. Really since your paying a small fortune.”

• It helped that it was newly constructed.
• Location poor; railroad tracks directly across street.

“Very nice interior, nice facilities, room was about what I'd expect at a 2-star. Location was very poor, down a poorly lit road near a bridge by a river directly across from railroad tracks. This was somewhat moderated by how new the facility was. But it was a little scary arriving there at dark with three small children. It didn't feel like a safe place outside the hotel at that time.”

• We didnt get a requested wake-up call.

“Good location, great breakfast, the room was nice and had a nice kitchenette area as well as office desk and office chair. There were 2 of us (colleagues) but there was only one bed. Luckily, there was a futon I slept which provided decent amount of comfort.”

• It had a pool, fitness center and provided a light dinner.
• Pool was cloudy.

“Overall I couldn't have been happier I was looking for a place to stay for a week before my apartment was ready and it worked out perfect. I had a studio suite and saved well over 1,000 bucks from what communities in the area wanted and hundreds from the direct price of the hotel.”

• Convenient, indoor pool and well priced.
• Suite was a bit small for 4 people.

“This hotel is quite close to Philadelphia and Conshohocken has a nice enough downtown with several adequate restaurants. The indoor pool and hot tub were a plus, as was the small but serviceable tennis/basketball court. Breakfasts were a plus.”

“Great value- large rooms with convenience of living room and kitchen. I loved that the windows opened! The complimentary breakfast was very good- much more than other similar breakfasts.”

• Wonderful accommodations, friendly staff, very nice selection of foods on breakfast buffet.
• It was a little challenging to find the first time off the highway.

“I stayed here for only one night, but wish I had more time to enjoy the stay. The room included a full kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. I briefly used the pool and hot tub, and they appeared very clean. I did not have the opportunity to use the fitness center, but it appeared to have a variety of equipment available. A full breakfast included a nice selection of foods, and there was ample seating in the pleasant breakfast area. I would definitely stay here again.”

• The breakfast was wonderful!! Hot Buffet, Yum!
• Wanted $70.00 for pet to stay.

“Were in the area one night for an ice skating competition. I was able to cook my daughter a nice dinner and have a wonderful hot breakfast before heading off to the rink the next morning. Comfortable beds and a clean room are always a plus. Wished we had longer to stay, the pool looked nice. This hotel did everything right!!”

• Bathroom floor and toilet not as clean as I would have hoped.

“Friendly staff. Quiet room, though near railroad tracks. Perfect location for our family attending a skating competition near Philadelphia. Unable to get proper fitting sheets for sleep sofa, so we tucked in larger sheets -- a minor complaint.”

• The breakfast buffet was a nice addition, and the food was good. The kitchen and its inclusions were very helpful for families like us.
• The pool was small and the pool water was cold.

“I would recommend this hotel for families with children, because the kitchen and appliances were very helpful. The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel staff was overall nice and helpful. The location is convenient for travel in and out of Philly, except for the traffic. The breakfast buffet was a nice inclusion.”

• Excellent decor and staff was more than accommodating.
• Difficult to access easily from Interstate.

“I was very pleased overall with my stay. The room was roomy, well designed and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I could not have asked for more. I keep checking other online sights, and have yet to find a better deal anywhere.”

• The complimentary breakfast was far superior to most others I have experienced.
• Industrial location.

“If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel room in the Philadelphia area near major highways, this Residence Inn is great. The room is a minisuite, which is clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was far superior to most others I have experienced. There is a nice fitness center and pool. The location is industrial, but a quick drive to most attractions, including Center City during non rush hour times.”

• Comfort and condition of the rooms.
• Confused front desk staff.

“The Residence Inn - Conshohocken is located in a redeveloped commercial area very close to the center of Conshohocken and close to access roads to Philadelphia. The facility is well maintained both in the public areas and in the rooms. They serve a more=than-adequate Breakfast Buffet every morning in a very pleasant dining area. The staff tries to be helpful, but it is obvious that they have not been adequately trained in the use of their computer software or on the policies affecting check in and check out. All in all it is a good hotel that could be a very good hotel with just a bit more effort.”

“The location is not as easily accessible as some others, but once we found it we could get to our destination without hassle. The hotel had a wonderful staff, very helpful and friendly. They helped me to find my destination after I finally found them. Nice place to be for 3 nights.”

• The only problem was the trains that ran in to the night.

“My family used on a leisure trip for a brief stay. Very Nice accommodations. We really enjoyed the Hot Breakfast Buffet (not a continental breakfast but eggs, sausage, etc.). Appears to be in a business park type area. Excellent and luxurious accommodations.”

“My second stay at this hotel. Excellent location for my needs, within ten minutes of Villanova. Downtown is easily accessible from this location. Good food nearby and the area has a safe feel to it.”

• We loved having a small suite with a living room and kitchen. The breakfast was great!
• The only thing I can think of is that I didn't like the comforters on the bed - way too thin.

“This was a great hotel. The receptionists were very kind. I even accidently lost a credit card in the hallway and one of the staff turned it in and left messages for me to pick it up. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit - especially for the great price we got it for!”

• Discreet and quiet location in comparison to the overall area.
• We believe a large, loud bird lives on the premises.

“The past two stays at this hotel have not been typical for us. We noticed on these two occasions we were placed on the 5th floor. Both times there was loud squawking from what had to be a large, live bird. We found this shocking and offensive. Prior to these two stays we were not located on the 5th floor. Our experiences then couldn't be better.”

• The staff was friendly, helpful, courteous and went out of their way to meet our needs.
• Update the bedding and pillows to down comforters and pillows, it does not cost that much more but says a lot to hotel guests.

“This hotel is in an area currently being updated, years ago Conchocken was not the nicest place, high crime etc. But now it has become a business district out side of Philadelphia. We felt very safe and had no problem getting to local attractions. The biggest plus was it's central location to both the PA Turnpike and 76, literally 1/4 mile away. The train station was yards away making travel into the city even more convenient. With regards to the hotel itself, the breakfast was first class and included in the rate! Hot cereals and homemade waffles making getting up in the morning enjoyable, almost as if I was at home.”

“The non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes and had ashes in the toilet. I suspect a hotel employee rather than a guest. The key worked sporadically and had to be reset each time which required a trip back to the lobby. Other than that, the room was clean enough and everything functioned properly.”

“Great place to stay. I love the fact that breakfast and a night meal is included with the stay (except for Friday, Sat, and Sun). The only thing is that it is SO CLOSE to the railway tracks and so you get to hear the passenger train every so often which can be a bother...but I got used to it. Everyone there is very friendly as well.”

“Great hotel! Breakfast and evening dinner provided as well. The latter only from Mon- Thurs. Friendly staff. Value for money. Only set back is that it is right next to railway tracks for a commuter train .. so you get to hear that all day and all night until it stops running! But you get used to it! At least I did!”
