“The hotel is well maintained throughout. We really liked the cleanliness of the room. I got the room for a very good deal and we couldn't have been happier with our stay.” Oct 28, 2009 by
Lindsi from Lansing,MI
“The hotel was in a good location, little inconvenient to get into and out of. The staff was rude but the pretzels in the lobby were nice. The bed was wonderful but room was on the small side. Hot Tub was nice, pool was small. Warning: you have to pay $12 a day for parking. Fairly nice but not a 3.5 star, more like 2.5.” Oct 21, 2009 by
John from Guilford,CT
“Overpriced and overrated (star). Small rooms, poor layout of bathrooms. Don't suggest more than 1 person to a room.” Oct 15, 2009 by
Rich from Olean,NY
“Typical Marriott. Nice rooms. Nice lobby. Shula's Steakhouse/Bar was good. Overall, it was a good experience. Parking should be free this far outside of downtown Philly. And internet should be free as well.” Jul 24, 2009 by
john from Raleigh,NC
“very nice hotel - good value” Jul 6, 2009 by
Rob from Milford, CT
“Okay hotel, but watch out for the extra charges - $12/night for parking, $13 per 24 hours for wireless internet service. Are you kidding me? I won't stay here again if I can help it. We got a good deal on the room, but can't help to the extra charges.” Jul 2, 2009 by
Nick from Endicott,NY
“A nice hotel and clean. Room was very clean and spacious. Would not recommend to anyone with back problem. Bed is much too soft.” Jun 25, 2009 by
Sissy from Oroville,CA
“Wonderful, romantic getaway. Comfy bed!” Jun 24, 2009 by
Taylor from Oakton,VA
“Tub did not drain. Called maintenance and they immediately responded and fixed the problem.” Jun 11, 2009 by
Rob from Temple City,CA
“The Marriott hotel was clean, neat, service was excellent, and the bedding was to die for. My room was cleaned daily and housekeeping even took it upon themselves to organize my toiletries (which were sprawled all over the sink). The service was beyond expectations, the concierge service was very helpful, and the in-house restaurant was great (try the breakfast)! Parking was $12 a day, internet was $10 a day, computer use in the business center was $0.99 a minute. It made things especially cumbersome (and expensive) for an ultra-light traveler without a laptop like myself.” Jun 9, 2009 by
from Plainfield,IL
“Short drive from Philadelphia, very clean and reasonably priced hotel. Shula's restaurant in the lobby with an excellent menu. Was a great experience.” Jun 3, 2009 by
Dave from Franklin,PA
“Hotel was nice but and the room rate through Priceline was good but I was a little surprised that after the were committed we were charged and additional $24 to park.” Jun 2, 2009 by
Dave from Millersville,MD
“Overall not a bad stay. Short overnight for a morning wedding nearby, hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. Arrived just after the restaurant had closed. Paid almost as much for parking as in hotels downtown-- pretty unreasonable for that area.” May 9, 2009 by
Steve from Hermitage,PA
“We were very pleased with the quality of the room, especially when the price was so reasonable. The room we were given was quiet and far removed from all the busyness downstairs.” Apr 30, 2009 by
Ellen from Sharon,MA
“Great location for our needs.” Apr 11, 2009 by
Bud from Atlantic Beach,NY
“Staff extremely attentive and friendly and the housekeeping department did not miss anything - very well done across the board. Shula's grill (downstairs) very pricey for the offerings, however. Not a good value.” Mar 25, 2009 by
Robin from Kingston,NY
“I will never stay in this hotel again, parking fee for an out door park your own vehicle is unacceptable.” Mar 8, 2009 by
Aaron from New York,NY
“This was a great hotel! The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was terrific.” Feb 22, 2009 by
Theresa from Williamstown,NJ
“The beds here are incredible. Very clean and comfortable. I stayed three days and 2 of them I spent in bed relaxing. The air quality was something I have never experienced at any hotel. I have sinus, allergy problems but not here. I usually cannot sleep well at a hotel with forced air. I usually end up most nights in the lobby because I have trouble breathing, but not here- I slept through the nite like baby. The pool area however was not so clean.” Nov 27, 2008 by
Richard from Pittsburgh,PA
“This was a very well maintained property, but needs to be updated. The chairs in my room and the lobby are unexceptable, very uncomfortable. Very well located hotel. I had an excellent breakfast in the dining room. The rooms have inadequate lighting. Very hard to read a newspaper. On the whole I would give it a passing grade.” Oct 9, 2008 by
Perry
“Great rooms with flat screen TV, modern hotel , Shulas has good food, great place to stay.” Oct 6, 2008 by
Steve
“Great for a business conference. Convenient to Philly or Route 202 corridor businesses.” Sep 3, 2008 by
John from Worcester, MA
“The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel seemed to have a lot of amenities (pool, gym, restaurant, etc.), but we didn't utilize any of them. Went into the bar one night, but it was extremely loud for having just a moderate number of patrons - tile floors and lots of glass kept the sound waves bouncing around. We inadvertently left the do not disturb tag on our door until mid afternoon and when we came back late that night, the room had not been made up. Our own fault, I guess.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Marquita from Mitchellville, MD
“Hotel rooms are beautiful; staff is great, allowed me to check in early and gave me a choice in type bed. Prepare to pay for parking in addition to cost of hotel.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Joe from Wood-Ridge, NJ
“Overall this is a great hotel. The location not far from Philadelphia or the King of Prussia mall and it is close to other shopping centers movie theaters and restaurants. Every room has a flat panel TV and comfortable beds. The beds have 2 different types of pillows, down (which were way too soft for me) and euro (which were firmer but way too big to sleep on). Luckily I brought my own pillow so I was able to sleep well. Everything in the room and the hotel was very classy. They even offer complimentary water bottles in the convenience store. I did not use the couch that folded out into a bed, but I can't imagine there would be much space in the room to breath with both that and the bed. For this reason I would not recommend this hotel for families of more than 3, but if you are looking for a more affordable place to stay in Philly but don't want to sacrifice proximity and comfort, the Marriot Philadelphia West is a good. You should be aware, though that there is only free WiFi in the lobby. It is wired and charged for in the rooms and as with most hotels close to cities, you have to pay for parking ($12 a night to self-park).” Aug 16, 2008 by
Doris from Newark, DE
“Really liked the room is was quiet, TV was enormous, easier for older people to view. Linen smelled clean and fresh. The bathroom was well kept and very clean smelling.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Matthew from Ithaca, NY
“A fine hotel, but overpriced for product. I could have stayed in Center City Philadelphia. In the suburbs I expected a few amenities not offered in town like internet and free parking. Also, bathroom could have spared a few updates.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Adam from Greensburg, PA
“Overall, the hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly very helpful.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Doris from Newark, DE
“Restaurant was excellent, great service and food choices were different enough to please everyone. It was quiet and the hallways had a pleasant odor as well as the room.” Jul 27, 2008 by
Gary from State College, PA
“Nice hotel. Great staff but the parking fee is nickel and dime stuff.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Margaret from Cupertino, CA
“Nice hotel, nice restaurant. Missed the minibar!” Jul 23, 2008 by
Joe from Wood-Ridge, NJ
“You can tell this is a well kept classy hotel as soon as you walk in. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were in very good condition and looked great. The bathrooms were very clean. There are nice-sized flat screen TVs in the rooms. The rooms are on the smaller side, so families or anyone with more than 2 people should definitely consider a suit if they are staying here. The location was a great mid-point between Philly and other attractions like Valley Forge and the King of Prussia Mall. All-in-all, staying at this hotel was a great experience and was everything I have come to expect from a Marriot.” Jul 16, 2008 by
Rick from Warners, NY
“Clean, organized, friendly and felt very homey.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Kevin from Fort Collins, CO
“I think Marriott's are overpriced. It was nice but not spectacular. No small fridge in the room, internet is $10 a day. Nothing special, seems like an older building. Location is ok, nothing special. Nothing is free, no snacks, coffee or breakfast. I would much rather stay at Hampton Inn, just as nice and comfortable, with free breakfast and less money.” Jun 9, 2008 by
Mark from Red Hook, NY
“Had some trouble checking in. The room was very small, the TV was at an odd angle to watch it from bed, we were told there was a fridge and there wasn't, and only 1 creamer for 2-3 cups of coffee. The room service prices were prohibitively expensive, ($6 plus gratuity for a baked potato, $35 for steak and eggs). They also charged $12 to park your car for the night. The room and bath were clean and they did have a nice comforter on the bed.” Feb 3, 2008 by
Craig from Birmingham, AL
“The hotel overall was convenient, attractive and offered all the basic amenities. I would stay there again if I could get a room that did not smell like dry rot.” Nov 6, 2007 by
Jimmy from Old Tappan, NJ
“One major complaint I had was that the hotel charged for certain basic amenities such as use of the business center. Also, there is no outdoor parking lot, so it was rather inconvenient to have to park in the garage (which involves waiting for an access ticket) every time I had to get in the hotel.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Helen from South Jordan, UT
“Exercise room great, room comfortable but would have liked a little more space. Provided fridge was great for our exercise program Thanks would stay their again.” Jun 21, 2007 by
Sheri from Pittsburgh, PA
“The Marriott was beautiful and the rooms were clean, towels and bath products great and the restaurants were perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.” Dec 24, 2006 by
Mary from Charleston, SC
“Our stay in your area was to visit with family, leaving early in the am and returning to our hotel later in the pm for a respite from the grandchildren we watched during the day. The privacy, the quite, and the comfortable beds were welcomed by us after long days. We would definitely consider staying again!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Aug 28, 2006 by

“Decent in and out business hotel. No frills, but convenient location.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 20, 2006 by
Edward from Falmouth, MA
“Our room was too close to the vents from the hotel kitchen. The smells were hard to take. The hotel staff did a quick pass through the room after the first night. A $10 per night parking fee was excessive. We will not be staying with Marriott at any of their locations.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 13, 2006 by
Iggy from Ridgefield, CT
“Staff are always professional and accommodating; location is convenient to larger population areas and major access routes.” Apr 4, 2006 by
George from Altoona, PA
“Hotel is great, staff very professional. In thus day and age charging for Internet access and for parking at a suburban property is nickel and dimming.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 3, 2006 by
