“The hotel was everything we expected and needed. Plus, it also offered a free breakfast buffet, and a nightly food item. The breakfast had everything from eggs to waffles and fruit. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was cleaned every morning and we enjoyed it every day of our vacation. The rooms were great, and kept very clean. Ours had a kitchen, and we had everything we needed.”

• Convenient to 22/78, airport, shopping and dining. Rooms were relatively clean. Above average lobby area. Small pool and whirlpool.
• It's an average cinder block hotel. No different than some of the cheaper chain hotels.

• I liked the swimming pool and clean room.

“The hotel was clean and looked new. The room was clean. I liked the swimming pool. The breakfast was kind of confusing. It wasn't a continental breakfast but there were different rates for different things you decided to eat. It was reasonably priced but the quality was mediocre at best.”

• Everything was very well done.
• Food smells on first floor started at 3 am; that was very unpleasant.

“An excellent hotel, but avoid staying on the first floor, because of cooking odors which start at 3 am and continue for hours. If you must stay on the first floor, put a towel at the base of the door and tape the rest of the door edges with masking tape.”

• Front desk and floor staff were very friendly and accommodating.
• No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Bathroom & vanity area was small.

“Overall, the hotel was nice. At check in, we were given keys to the wrong room where another guest was occupying. After 20 minutes, we were given keys to a different room, but were only given a room with 1 king bed & sofa bed, instead of 2 queen beds - which we needed with our 2 children. The front desk tried to look for another room, but they were all full. They gave us a voucher for free breakfast at the hotel, which we never used. The front desk staff on all shifts were very nice, and overall our stay was comfortable, but just crowded in the room. The pool was nice - although it was small, we were the only one's using it so it was fine.”

• The staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
• Water glass was dirty; no fridge or microwave in the room.

“The Allentown area. This hotel is geared toward business travelers. That usually means a small fridge and microwave in the rooms. My room had neither, although the front desk staff managed to dig up a fridge for me when I requested one. The guest services directory invites the guest to join us in the restaurant for breakfast. The food is adequate, but I can get a better breakfast 1/4 mile away for less money. On top of that, the woman who was running the dining room was surely and sarcastic, and needed a swift kick in the attitude adjustment button. I was appalled to find that one of the two glass water glasses in the room had fingerprints and lip marks on it when I held it up to the light. All things considered, I expected more from a hotel property although the room itself was clean, the bed was luxurious, the bathroom facilities spotless, the public areas well-maintained, it is the small details that can sour a stay.”

• It took the county volunteer fire department at least thirty six (36) minutes for the first water toting fire engine to roll into the parking lot.

“This Sheraton three plus star hotel is positioned directly across the Lehigh Valley International Airport. On Saturday evening I was awakened by the fire alarm and after three minutes of continuation I stuck my head out the door and noticed the hallways on the third floor were rapidly filling with smoke. I and other guests ran into the parking lot where we positioned ourselves witnessing heavy smoke pour out of the outdoor ventilation system. It took the county volunteer fire department at least thirty six (36) minutes for the first water toting fire engine to roll into the parking lot. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends simply based on that fact! This hotel lacks the reaction time of a big city fire department and that simply means every night lots of lives are always in jeopardy. After the fire was officially put out the management told a couple of us that we could re enter the hotel. We then took it upon ourselves to tell the others via yelling to them throughout the parking lot as the manager simply walked back to her office. Clearly management seemed not to care too much about us their guests. Entering the hotel we noticed that every room door was left open so every guest literally ran to their rooms fearing stolen items and luggage. There were no security guards on the third floor upon our arrival were not offered a glass of orange juice, an egg or even a piece of burnt toast for our having to wait over four and a half hours in the parking lot (1:00 AM to approximately 4:30 AM). No apologies or gestures of compensation for our loss of sleep and going through this ordeal. Those human and business qualities coming from this three star plus hotel (3+) is what I found to be more amazing than the fire itself.”

“This hotel suited our needs well and we were very pleased with the comfort, and staff accommodations. The pool and Jacuzzi were awesome and all in our 7 person party enjoyed them during our 2 day stay for our daughter's graduation.”

• The staff was very friendly, the room pristine, and the steak delivered by Applebee's next door delicious.
• It was much further away from historic Bethlehem than I expected. It's pretty much located in strip mall land.

“The place more than met my expectations. While my teenage son was visiting nearby DeSales College, I checked into a beautiful, pristine room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, remembered my name even though I was only there for one night, and had complimentary fruit and cookies at the desk. There is a nearby multiplex movie theater (the concierge voluntarily printed out the movie schedule for me), shopping and restaurants. I ordered dinner delivered from Applebee's next door, and the steak arrived hot, delicious and on time. I would absolutely stay there again.”

• We love this hotel.

“This hotel has better beds than the 3 star offers. This hotel is much more comfortable. One nice bonus is the little marketplace, b/c it stocks beer, too, which my husband enjoys a beer and TV. at night. Only hotel where I've ever seen that. No beer at the Residence Inn, for instance, which is right next door and owned by the same company.”

• I liked the beds, although my husband complained about them this time and about the pillows, too.

“This hotel is in a great location. It's very homey with a nice "hang out" room with a computer, big TV, microwave and even microwave popcorn that guests can cook up to go with their movies. This hotel has a pretty nice snacks to go area, including beer and wine, and some simple TV. dinners. All of that can be charged to the room. There is a buffet/continental style breakfast in the restaurant that is cheap and can be charged to the room. You can even get to go boxes for the breakfast and they will provide a nice large tray to carry up to your room. They had an extensive pay per view selection, including some TV. shows on demand. The beds seemed to be some kind of foam core which was nice for me, b/c I sleep weird. The pillows were fluffy, but not super substantial. We really like this hotel and stay here quite often. We especially enjoyed it this time, b/c we had planned, in advance, to watch several movies and enjoyed the free popcorn, getting snacks, eating breakfast in the room, and all of that. I totally recommend this hotel.”

• A business center for those of us who need it!
• No fridge, no microwave, and no airport shuttle!

“For the most part this hotel was what I expected. However, with its location right across from the airport I expected a shuttle service. There was none. The taxi service did not run from 4:45 to 5:15 am due to shift change, which was precisely when I needed to get to the airport. So I got up earlier to get a taxi before the shift change and, it was twenty minutes late! Valuable sleep time at that hour. There also was no coffee available at 4:20 am even though the hotel claims to have 24 hour coffee in the lobby. This entire aside, the hotel was pretty good. I'd stay there again.”

• We stay here about once a month, we like the beds, cleanliness, location and price.
• The beds in the room we got this time seemed a little more worn, mattresses not as good or needing replacement soon, I¿m not sure.

“We stay at this hotel about once a month and really love the price, location, beds, cleanliness. We were a little less happy than usual this time, and have paid a little more to stay somewhere else the next time we stay in this area. We'll see if we like that hotel better or not.”

“The hotel advertised that you receive a continental breakfast. I went down for breakfast with my 10 year old son at 6:50am and started to serve ourselves. A very rude individual told me it was not time for the breakfast bar to be open, they still had approx. 10min. At that point we had already had food on our plates. We were told to proceed and the next day at check-out I get a bill for $18.00 each for breakfast. I understood it was free with my visit.”
