• The staff was very friendly- in particular the breakfast staff- and the food was very good.
• The room was not very clean- there was a lot of dirt and hairs in the bathroom.

“I would have been disappointed had I paid a full rate, but for the rate we received on priceline it served its purpose just fine. We had a nice relaxing morning with a very nice breakfast.”

• It was an upgrade. Attractive, king bed, sofa, nice carpeting, furniture.
• No free continental breakfast. Coffee in the room wasn't the greatest.

• I loved the hotel and grounds.
• Finding the location was not clear.

“The street name does not stand out, so I had an issue finding it. The hotel name on the mall sign does not stand out. The person working the front desk had an issue with billing. I drank a water in the room.”

“Manager tried to charge me twice for the breakfast. When I objected, he accused me of being belligerent... that was the exact word he used. I was totally civil and the other staff there apologized for his rude behavior. But I will never stay there again.”

• The location is excellent for shopping, dining, and hopping on and off I-95.
• Compared to other Courtyard hotels in this chain, it did not quite seem to be of the same high caliber. Nothing bad, just not as good as some.

“I would not hesitate to stay here again. Not as new and the amenities are few compared to other Courtyard sites, but still clean and comfortable. Excellent fitness room and the pool looked inviting.”

• Convenient to Interstate 95, shopping mall and restaurants.

“Well appointed room and good public spaces. The consistency and quality of the Marriott Courtyards are excellent no matter where the location. This particular hotel is perfectly situated close to I-95, Christiana Mall and numerous restaurants. Also close to Delaware Park and hospital.”

• The furniture, bedding, bathroom and lighting.
• I liked everything.

“I was working at the University of Delaware, so this was quite a distance from there. However, it was worth the ride. It was a great place to relax after work. I felt safe and the room was well lit for reading. The king size bed was comfortable and the furniture and carpet was clean and luxurious. Pillows could be firmer.”

• The indoor pool, internet service, front desk personnel very helpful.
• The first flush of the toilet it would not shut off. I had to jiggle the handle to get it to stop. No problems after that.

• Had a micro/fridge.
• My only negative thing I can think of is the rooms are kind on the small side.

“I was very impressed with my stay. The continental breakfast was off the chart, ranging from normal toast and bagels to biscuits and gravy and waffles. The rooms were on the small side but had accommodations such as wireless internet, microwave and mini fridge. I've stayed in Montrose before at a higher end motel and they didn't have those little things as the micro and fridge. Awesome place look forward to next stay there!”

• I liked that the window could be open a little bit.
• There was a couple of bug in the room making a chirping noise and the shower is showing its age.

• Felt welcome, very pleasant environment, clean sheet program, new rooms.
• Wasn't very comfortable watching TV from bed and smoke alarm went off during the night about 3:00 a.m. for about 10 minutes.

“When we came down the next morning to re-register she remembered us immediately all went smooth and she saw to it that we kept our same room. Everything was clean, there was lots of info in the room which included a special restaurant/cab delivery service which we did not use but found it was a good option to have.”

• It was astonishingly attractive, quiet, and comfortable.
• You could hear a banging in the plumbing when our neighbor was taking a shower.

“The staff was quite friendly and efficient, the amenities were great, the lobby was amazingly large and comfortable and a good place in which to hang out and read the paper. The room itself was perfect. I even enjoyed looking at the very appealing contemporary artwork. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“The staff was incredibly professional and attentive. The hotel had great amenaties, microwave ovens, refrigerators, exercise room, pool, whirlpool, etc... The hotel is conveniently located to shopping, dining, museums, sports venues, etc... and I95 is minutes away. The grounds were well maintained and the rooms were nicely furnished. Staff was visible throughout the hotel ensuring guests safety and pleasant stay.”
