• Newly renovated and redesigned rooms are outstanding and befitting the Hilton name.
• Menu selection could be more varied.

“Excellent value for the money spent. Rooms are redesigned, large and truly befitting the Hilton name. Location is outstanding, close to interstate 95 and near Christiana mall and other shops and restaurants.”

• Friendliness of staff.
• Problem with heating.

“Had a problem with the heating system. They were very quick & friendly to respond, however were not able to resolve problem. When explained to manager, he was quick to satisfy our needs.”

• Rooms are well appointed with quality linens, bathroom very tastefully done.
• The 1st room we were checked into had not been cleaned at all, the room was occupied and we walked in.

“I have stayed at this hotel numerous times both through price-line and without it services. Great accommodations, very clean and tastefully decorated.”

• The hotel was very clean.
• Room was small and staff wasn't at desk when we got there.

“Hotel overall is nice. Have stayed in Hiltons before and his one falls a little short in luxury. Cabinet in the room did not open and room itself was quite small. Amount of towels given was inadequate for two people but perfect for one. On a Saturday am you could not sleep in and still make it to the breakfast buffet. It should be open later as on Sunday. People traveling on business would be up that early but on Saturday it is mostly about leisure travel and after working all week would like to be able to sleep in and have breakfast then having to travel to the local waffle house.”

• Convenient location and comfortable beds.
• Heating unit was noisy when starting up.

“Nice hotel but not an "estate" as they advertise. Located near the interstate and across from an office park. If you like quiet request a room overlooking the courtyard. The only problem we had was that the heating unit made no fan sound when not in the heat mode. When in the heat mode it had a loud mechanical sound.”

• The comfort and luxury of the down bedding was wonderful. The tile flooring was beautiful. Refrigerator and microwave is a nice have with kids.
• Our room furnace was broken. Staff was not present at late arrival to let us into the hotel. Waited 45 minutes.

“Hotel and grounds are beautiful. Very luxurious. The swans in the pond were a great attraction for the kids. Rooms have a microwave and a refrigerator which is always a plus when traveling with young ones. Very soft, high quality bedding. Most staff was very curious. Only difficulty was with late check in.”

• Excellent location and value for the star rating.
• Hotel should have had free continental breakfast.

“Excellent location! The main lobby and foyer are quite attractive; the swans at the front pond are nice too. The rooms are typical Hilton down to the standardized linens. Good value for the money spent.”

• Simple access from i-95. Safe & clean.
• My room overlooked the main entrance- not too private.

• Comfortable beds.
• No heat- never came up to fix, had to call three times before it was addressed and then it still did not work.

“If you have no issues with your room, I would think it is a pleasant place. I had cold air blowing on me for three days- no one seemed to think this was an issue. I was told by hotel I would get a refund- I doubt that will happen also.”

• The setting is very beautiful, especially the swans. There are extras (like learning to mix martinis). The staff was extremely helpful and courteous.
• You really can't blame the hotel, but it rained every day.

“Excellent setting. Courteous and friendly staff. They will do anything to please you. The maid service was extremely good. The breakfast buffet was outstanding.”

• It was a good quality hotel with many amenities.
• There was a wedding going on and some very noisy guests yelled nearby late at night.

“Excellent hotel. The late night noise from the wedding group was annoying but the hotel responded immediately with security.”

• Accommodating staff for our needs.
• The acoustics weren't good and I kept getting woken up by housekeepers knocking on doors asking to clean rooms.

“It's a beautiful hotel with a nice atmosphere. The rooms are super clean and charming, the beds are very comfortable and the staff is very polite and helpful. The only downside is the acoustics, I think. I kept getting woken up by housekeeping staff knocking on people's doors asking to clean their rooms.”

• It was not as convenient to touring the area as I'd hoped

“This was a lovely hotel with upscale common areas and a variety of special touches which we all appreciated. Our room was clean and well appointed, but the bed was not the most comfortable I've slept on.”

• Nice, clean, well equipped, nice view
• Having construction and didn't tell me, was too much headche and noise

“Hotel was great, but as I said they having construction and I had this trouble noise above my room,they moved me from the room to another one, but they shouldn't put me there, recepionast wasn't friendly and told me the noise and work will last till 5 pm and start again at 8 am!!! everything else was great.”

• Very nice hotel, it was well decorated and well kept
• My children wished they had an indoor pool

“I liked the hotel very much. I bid again last week hoping to get the same hotel but I did not. I did tell my brother and cousin to bid and they got the Hilton and they enjoyed their stay.”
