• Very welcoming staff and extremely comfortable bed.
• Construction on I-95 is terrible, luckily there are alternate routes.

“Great location, very close to nearby attractions, I had a great time at Delaware Park and even got some good deals at the Christiana Mall. The hotel has an old world feeling when you walk in the door. It is obviously well taken care of. The staff I encountered were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the immediate area. I thought the breakfast buffet was way above the normal standards you would encounter at other hotels. I had a very nice and relaxing stay.”

“Hotel staff was very attentive when we complained of kids next door and upgraded our room to executive floor. Staff also gave us free treats and made sure we knew about the events and accessories available at the hotel like exercise, sauna, etc.”

• Desk chair was broken; AC unit needed cleaning; bed pillows were too soft.

“This hotel needs some updating. The location is good except that there are very few necessities nearby. We had to travel 7 miles to a gas station. It is a nice, quiet, out of the way hotel.”

• Great rooms, extremely comfortable beds!
• A little expensive, but worth it compared to other hotels in the area.

“I have stayed at this hotel several times for work and I love it! The staff is great and is always so welcoming. They also have a great bar and restaurant on property, you really don't ever have to leave the hotel. But if you do want to venture out, there are so many places to choose from. I love the swans too!”

• Hotel accommodations were clean, updated, comfortable.
• Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub or pool because it was outside.

“This hotel was very easy to locate right on Continental Drive, easy on the eyes, very comfortable beds with ample pillows and adequate and comfortable mattresses. Rooms are spacious and contain small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. We also had maid service.”

• Great for the price.
• Had an outdoor pool that was not open. Nice gym but it closed very early.

“It was a very nice hotel with a great staff. The bad points were, it had an outdoor pool that was not open. It had a exercise room that way since, but closed at 10 p.m., which is way to early for people staying at a hotel. Most hotels have them open 24 hours a day, so this were very incontinent.”

• The service was horrible.

“This hotel was a big let down from the last time I stayed here. I called twice for extra towels and never got them. The breakfast buffet was under staff and they brought out food but did not but it in the serving tray. They did not even have anybody to seat you. It was the worse.”

• The water hole and discoloration of the bathroom ceiling.

“The location was great and the hotel was beautiful. The only negatives were on the bathroom ceiling-leakage spot and discoloration. The carpet had a fresh stain- I guess they did not have enough time to clean the carpet.”

“I stayed at this hotel while visiting my daughter who is a student at University of Delaware. The hotel was just a few minutes from the campus and very convenient to shopping and food. The front desk person I've was very helpful providing me with printed directions and tips on where to find things. I will add this hotel to my list of places to stay.”

• Marvelous pond with resident swans.

“There was a prom party and a wedding also booked at the hotel. The Reservation clerk made sure (without my asking) that I was located away from both parties. The hotel has a small pond which has a resident pair of glorious, magnificent swans. Nightly at 5:30 there is a feeding the swans ritual - it was done beautifully and fun for both adults and kids. Restaurant was excellent - service excellent.”

• The pillows and bedding. Would have liked the bed a lot more if it was a King. I called and requested a king and they said no problem. Didn't get one.
• Bathroom too small. Makeup mirror did not work. Lamp was burned out.

“Location convenient to everything. Rooms kind of small, especially bathroom. Had to ask to have our room changed. The first room was very noisy because of a huge air conditioning system under the window. Pillows and bedding very nice, just wish we would have gotten the king size bed that we requested.”

• Decent size rooms, very clean. A well managed property.
• Parking area does not feel safe - no security noted.

“A great value in a nice, clean property. Located in an upscale industrial park. Close to Jimmy Buffet's "Cheeseburger in Paradise" one of our favorite casual eateries. Hilton continues to impress with quality and comfort. Location could be better but on par with the competition in the area.”

• I had a pleasant stay, was close enough to my destinations.
• With small children on business trip would be nice to also have microwave in room.

“I only stayed here 2 nights on a weekend business trip with my family. Employees were pleasant and helpful. The hotel was decorated nicely and kept clean. It had snowed the night before and though someone was working on it, I think they could have done a better job removing the snow and ice as I slipped many times carrying an infant out to my car.”

• Large, clean rooms. Very comfortable bed.
• Parking lot is dark and creepy.

“Obviously renovated recently, it was like a new hotel in every aspect. The staff was pleasant and efficient. Yes, it is located in an upscale industrial park (parking lot is a bit dark and creepy at night) but compared to the other hotels in the area the location was not only convenient but desirable. A full service hotel with high standards is what we found. A solid three stars in my book. No complaints.”

“I was able to check in early and the staff member let me know that the other party had arrived and was waiting in the next room. The room was attractively furnished and the bed very comfortable. I forgot my toothbrush and was promptly given a complementary one. The hotel was quiet and the public spaces spacious and clean.”

• The 1st room we were checked into had not been cleaned at all, the room was occupied and we walked in.

• Room was small and staff wasn't at desk when we got there.

“Hotel overall is nice. Have stayed in Hiltons before and his one falls a little short in luxury. Cabinet in the room did not open and room itself was quite small. Amount of towels given was inadequate for two people but perfect for one. On a Saturday am you could not sleep in and still make it to the breakfast buffet. It should be open later as on Sunday. People traveling on business would be up that early but on Saturday it is mostly about leisure travel and after working all week would like to be able to sleep in and have breakfast then having to travel to the local waffle house.”

• Heating unit was noisy when starting up.

“Nice hotel but not an "estate" as they advertise. Located near the interstate and across from an office park. If you like quiet request a room overlooking the courtyard. The only problem we had was that the heating unit made no fan sound when not in the heat mode. When in the heat mode it had a loud mechanical sound.”

• The comfort and luxury of the down bedding was wonderful. The tile flooring was beautiful. Refrigerator and microwave is a nice have with kids.
• Our room furnace was broken. Staff was not present at late arrival to let us into the hotel. Waited 45 minutes.

“Hotel and grounds are beautiful. Very luxurious. The swans in the pond were a great attraction for the kids. Rooms have a microwave and a refrigerator which is always a plus when traveling with young ones. Very soft, high quality bedding. Most staff was very curious. Only difficulty was with late check in.”

“Excellent location! The main lobby and foyer are quite attractive; the swans at the front pond are nice too. The rooms are typical Hilton down to the standardized linens. Good value for the money spent.”

• Comfortable beds.
• No heat- never came up to fix, had to call three times before it was addressed and then it still did not work.

“If you have no issues with your room, I would think it is a pleasant place. I had cold air blowing on me for three days- no one seemed to think this was an issue. I was told by hotel I would get a refund- I doubt that will happen also.”
