“Decor reminding me of the 70's. I would think it would be a good hotel for spring breakers, or family vacations as well as romantic get-a-ways.” Oct 25, 2009 by
J from York, PA
“The location is great, the staff is friendly and helpful. I didn't like the hotel tacked on an extra safe charge of $1 day. I'm a world traveler and never had to pay such a charge. Thought this hidden charge was unnecessary and tacky, since I didn't have a need to use the safe. The hotel was old, but it was for the most part clean, contrary to other reviews I have read. Thought the carpets needed to be shampooed after all this is a beach property and sand is too be expected. My room required minor maintenance attention such as the shower head leaked, the bathroom door hook was broken and the locks on the doors where starting to rust so they stuck just a bit. Since it was the off season, parking was not an issue, but I would not stay there during the summer because there wouldn't be enough spots for all the guest. Overall, I think I would stay there again if I had the opportunity.” Oct 5, 2008 by

“We had an issue with the parking which was very limited; staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was very refreshing; the ocean view was wonderful and the Jacuzzi was relaxing. Thanks for a wonderful weekend of memories.” Sep 17, 2008 by

“This hotel needs some real good cleaning all over, like dried food on the railing and the door glass was filthy.” Jul 19, 2008 by

“For a two-star hotel, I was pleasantly surprised.” Apr 17, 2008 by

“The hotel was alright, but it was old and you had to pay for a safe whether or not if you wanted it. They need to fix their door. The draft of wind very strong.” Apr 16, 2008 by

“I would stay there again any day the staff was great and very nice. We had great views and a nice size room perfect for family or just the two. Great location hopes to return soon.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Helena from Smyrna, TN
“The hotel was nice; good area, great view and access of the ocean. The room was very spacious especially for the 2 children we had with us. There was an indoor pool but it was small and did not work for the last two days there the heat was off (to the pool) and it was not running either) we reported it but it was not fixed in time for us to leave. We also like a restaurant or drink bar in our hotel but this one did not have one. I would recommend the hotel.” Feb 9, 2008 by

“I enjoyed my stay at the Dolphin Inn. The front desk did not expand on what all the hotel had to offer (like the indoor pool upstairs), but I had a fantastic time!” Oct 11, 2007 by

“Have stayed in the past and probably will again.” Sep 6, 2007 by

“The room was nice, the view perfect, nice little kitchenette, bathroom was nice. It was close to all that we wanted to do.” Mar 6, 2007 by
Todd from Mcdough, GA
“The hotel was very nice, the view was impressive, it was quiet, we did see a roach on our last day in the room, and we were charged $20.00 for a long distance call, when it was local. They did adjust it. We are from Atlanta area & its habit to dial area code on all calls and did it while in van. Beach, which caused the system to rate our call as long distance.” Feb 21, 2007 by
Leslie from Vienna, VA
“An old place being renovated. All ocean view suites, so that is the main appeal, but renovation is uneven in quality. Beds OK, and decor pleasant, but sofa in sitting room worn and uncomfortable, and no other seating there except three table chairs which were very uncomfortable. The suite is supposed to allow 6 persons, where do they sit? Tiny table, with no lighting over it. Wireless and desk were great. Noisy maids/woke us up even though we had late check out. "Kitchen" is not really a kitchen - no burners or stove. Just refrigerator, microwave, and tiny coffee maker, so don't expect to cook much. Tacky sales calls to promote their other properties interrupted us once a day. Having the ocean view was nice.” Sep 16, 2004 by
“This was my first adventure to see the ocean - and my stay at the Dolphin Inn on the Ocean - made it all worth while. I could not have asked for a better hotel. Within walking distance of everything and a great room altogether.” 7 of 9 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
