• Ran perfectly. Great staff.
• Later hours on food and drinks.

“This was the second time I stayed at the VA Beach Sheraton. The first time was in 2006 and just recently. Once again I enjoyed my stay. I had an oceanfront room. The food at the Aqui was good and the so was the hotel, ran beautifully. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.”

• Housekeeping poor, took forever for room to be made up.

“Great location and view, Staff very friendly but over whelmed, it took forever for room to be made up and then things were still not done. Two elevators for number of rooms not enough, two more needed. One would wait a long time to get down or up.”

• Room was beautiful. View was simply amazing! Pools (3) were awesome!
• Check out time could have been pushed a bit back but was at 12 pm.

“Awesome hotel. The weather was bad so we stayed in mostly. Had a great view of the ocean and was just perfect! The pools were nice! I heard the food wasn't so good so ate else where but overall superb experience. Would definitely go again.”

• The staff was extremely helpful all the time.
• The dining area was not as clean as expected.

“We enjoyed this hotel because of the three pools (2 outdoor and 1 indoor), the ease of access to the oceanfront, the view from the dining area and the wonderful staff. I can't say enough about the valet service - beyond our expectations for a three star hotel.”

• Cleanliness; newly remodeled look; stylish flooring in bathroom.
• The oceanfront balcony I requested was on the side of the hotel, not directly facing the ocean like I understood it would be.

• Very small rooms nice and cozy; the pool was excellent; big and nice for family swimming.
• The exterior of the hotel looked outdated in need of a makeover. Sound proofing was bad. Insulation was bad; cold and windy was coming thru the room.

“The breakfast buffet was good food and made to order. The manager was very good and accommodated our family very well. Wait staff was good and very fast to get what we wanted on the menu too. Omelets were hot and fresh and cooked without over cooking and soft texture. Valet was nice and answered our questions.”

• Children noisy at night in the halls.

• Always love the view. Very clean and private.
• Pay per view didn't work and the internet service didn't work either.

“I enjoyed the stay very much the quality of the room and the comfort made me feel right at home. Easy access to the beach from our room. I would enjoy another stay for the peace and quiet.”

• The lady at the front desk on 11/10 was extremely helpful.
• There were ants on the writing table and the comforter smelled of perfume.

“I chose this hotel mainly because we are using a Sheraton for my daughter's wedding and I wanted to see how accommodating it would be! Despite the ants on the desk and the perfume smell I would rate our stay a 7 on a scale from 1 -10.”

• The hotel is below the military flight path ¿ Noisy.

• Beautiful Oceanfront view.
• Staff not very helpful.

“Due to Ernesto there was flood damage to the oceanfront rooms, which caused our check-in time to be pushed back 2+ hours and the hotel staff did not even attempt to compensate for this inconvenience. The Sheraton is a well known hotel and one would expect they are capable of dealing with these situations, but they were completely unprepared and unprofessional. Very disappointing for the amount of money spent for the stay.”

• Quiet, On the Ocean, Easy to get too, Good parking.
• May $30 over priced.

• Comfortable beds, indoor pool, very clean room.
• Nothing.

“This hotel was close to our family who lives here. The hotel was a lot nicer than I even expected! The room was very clean and the beds were wonderful, very comfortable! The kids enjoyed the indoor pool a lot and the staff was great! We didn't try the restaurant, but I'm sure it's good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here every time we come to visit!”

“Very enjoyable stay with the hotel right the beach for the perfect location. Would suggest getting a balcony room as it great to wake up to the sound of the ocean. The hotel was surprising clean on The hotel is on the North end of the beach, which depending what you like can be good or bad. The North end is the more quite end, while the south end is the more rowdy bar end. Overall a great stay”
