• Was Greeted with a smile, the lounge was friendly and the room clean. Very comfortable bed.
• Calamari was a little over cooked.

• The bed was comfortable and the room clean.
• 20% service charge including 15% tip was automatically added to room service + there was a line on the precept for tips.

“The hotel was comfortable, clean and in a good location for us. The staff could have been more professional and I did not like that they charged a 20% service charge for room service including 15% tip and had a place on the room service receipt for tips.”

• Linens and beds are great! Also, the cookies were wonderful.
• The bath tile had red and black mold in the grout, there was no luggage stand and the air conditioner was noisy.

“I stayed there two night, Friday, and Sunday. The Friday night stay was perfect, Sunday the room was very disappointing.”

• Theres not much on the menu for children to choose from.

“Nice rooms and a friendly staff that will go out of their way to make you happy. Their is a heated pool, hot tub, sauna, and a fitness room, all open 6am until 11pm.we loved our stay hear.”

• Internet access in room was not complimentary.

• Location, plenty of pillows & comfort of room.
• Cleaning staff hollering at each other from different rooms.

“We loved everything about our hotel except the noise that the cleaning staff made and the prices at the bar. Also, I ordered a cup of coffee at the bar and it was served in a Styrofoam cup and was cold. You'd think a hotel of Doubletree's quality would serve coffee in a regular cup or mug. Thankfully, a waitress took it and warmed it up for me.”

• I like that the hotel was very clean.
• What I didn't like was I had to study and I was on a floor with a party that the hotel was aware of before hand.

“Well I was hoping to get so study done and I was on a floor with a party going on that the hotel was aware of. Also with the price of the room, there was free wireless internet in the room, so I had to down to the noisy lobby.”

• The fact that you have to pay $10 per day for wireless internet.

“Great hotel, but all guests should have free access to wireless internet. It's not a great idea that they charge $10 per day for the internet. Most hotels now days offer free internet.”

• They were VERY accommodating with my family. My oldest child suffers with autism.
• Not one thing!

“From the moment we walked into the lobby to the check-out at the end, we were extremely pleased with the Double-Tree. The rooms were fastidiously clean, the pool and workout facilities were wonderful but the PEOPLE there are still its finest asset. Holly, who checked us in at the front desk, was fabulous to us, as was everyone else! Top notch hotel-my highest recommendation!”

• The beds were amazingly comfortable.
• The bedside phone had not plug into the wall unusable.

“The doubletree was a great stop in a recent Christmas shopping weekend w/my sister and niece. The beds were amazingly comfortable best Ive ever slept on, including my own. There were late night partiers in the hallway, but a quick call to the front desk disbursed them efficiently. The only complaint I would have is that the bedside phone had no hook up into the wall it was apparently just decorative. In the morning I discovered a phone on the desk (it was buried by my luggage). Would highly recommend, the plush room and especially the good nights sleep.”

• Not bad for the money.
• Double beds are small.

“Good hotel. Normally this wouldn't be a problem because most hotels have full or even queen sized double beds, but this hotel had what could be described as "slightly bigger then a twin sized" double bed. Not a problem if you are sleeping in it by yourself, but if you are trying to get cozy with your partner, well, it was too cozy. The bed was too small to share.”

• Home baked cookies at check in. Also, enjoyed indoor pool.
• No continental breakfast. It should have been included.

“My family of 6 stayed at the hotel. I have 3 small children. I found the hotel clean and was able to rent a playpen for one of the children. I was concerned that it took 3 separate phone calls over a 2 day period for them to clean broken glass in the hallway. Surprised by no continental breakfast. Would stay there again.”

• Walls with chips; furniture with mars; tiles with mildew.

“The location is great; access is easy; staff is friendly; cookies were warm. But, room showed wear, with dings and mars on furniture; shower tiles had a little mildew. It needed a refurbishing, but it had great beds and was comfortable.”

• The bed is not very comfortable.

“My stay was good except that I didn't get a good sleep because of the bed. Every time my husband moved or changed position, I was awakened up because of the bed's spring. I think the bed needs to be changed to have better back support. Other than this, I was happy with the hotel.”

“The doubletree is not a 3 star. It is at least a 4 star. The quality of furniture in the room is amazing, it's super clean. I am extremely picky about hotels and this one was one of the best Ive stayed in!”

• They had some renovation / construction that were ongoing.

“Rooms were clean and modern. There were no real problems other than we had three booked for the room but towels for two. That was easily fixed - you'd just have expected there would be enough at the start.”

“For the third time this summer our room was poorly cleaned and for that reason I recommend choosing another hotel in this area. It is a shame because this is a nice facility, but it is unsettling to sleep in a room where you don't have confidence that the sheets are clean, and the bathroom is barely acceptable.”

• Lobby was so-so, but has planned renovations.

“The hotel was great for us - it was close to highways (and shopping!), check-in/out was quick and easy, the pools were nice to have, and the rooms were really nice. The common areas of the hotel weren't as nice as the rooms, but not such a big deal. Overall, a positive experience.”
