• Location.

“For the business traveler flying to Syracuse and arriving late at night staying here makes good sense. It is convenient and despite being next to the airport,
it is not noisy.”

• The room was clean as far as I could tell but the carpet needs replacing.

“First off the maids knocked at our door at 8:00 even with the do not disturb sign. Front desk never smiled they looked angry and they were not helpful at all.”

• Good sized room, beautiful pool, good breakfast and restaurant/drinks.
• Ice machine not working on our floor--shower was a little weak.

“Very convenient to the airport, and the State Fair, which is where we were going for our stay. The little restaurant and the bartender/waiter/food runner that night was great! He was the only one on, and he made sure that everyone was taken care of in a timely and friendly manner. The pool was very nice, and the staff was very helpful.”

• No noise from the airport planes, that was nice.
• Noisy corridor, noisy room doors, heard toilet beside us & above us.

“Pool area looked lovely but seemed to be closed, dining area and bar very sparse and unappealing looking, room was ok, staff (only saw one) was pleasant, certainly a no frills hotel.”

• Old. Air conditioning was not very cold. Poor service.

• Wireless internet available in the lobby.
• Some rooms had the wireless capability, but ours did not.

“This hotel is easy to find and is close to a few restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was appreciated.”

• Location, easy to get in and out to route 81.
• Small room, old building - needs a makeover.

“No frills but basically comfortable albeit small room. The bedding was good and AC worked well. TV reception was poor and the walls seemed thin as noises did carry. I'd say slightly below average compared to other 2 star motels I've stayed at.”

• Close to the airport.
• No lock on door, maid service, no one to check out.

“The hotel is right at the airport. The door to my room would not lock because the door jam was in such disrepair. The walls are so thin I could hear the man next snoring and then talking to his wife at 4:30 am for their flight. No one was at the desk when I arrive and no one at the desk at check out. I arrived after 1:00 am from the west coast and got to bed about 2 am. Housekeeping knocked on my door at 8:30 am on a Saturday morning. I did not like that. They did not clean my room when I left for the day. The iron leaked and stained my shirt for the day.”

• I liked the breakfast buffet.
• When I phoned to ask for a room with 2 double beds I was told that it would cost me extra but she later said she was mistaken.

“The room was clean and attractive and the breakfast buffet was good. The pool was too cold to have and enjoyable swim and I found that it didn't look very clean.”

• The bed was excellent. Thank god!
• The extra charge, breakfast, coffee, no housecleaning the last night, no elevator!

“Typical airport hotel but there is no elevator. Staff was very under-trained. We were never told we needed a parking sticker for our vehicle for overnight parking! Thank goodness we weren't towed! They charged extra to give us a king bed !”

• Large room and bed.
• 24 hour staff could never be found or contacted.

“Overall good experience. Large room and bed, quiet for being right beside the airport, but the 24 hour staff were never at the desk and couldn't be reached by phone either. Twice it took us over 15 minutes to get in contact with an employee.”

• Free muffins and coffee before 10 AM.
• Walls are very thin, quite noisy.

“Very convenient if you're just staying the night and are heading out on an early flight, but if you're planning on waking up after 8AM it is incredibly difficult to sleep. Walls are very thin and many guests are leaving around 6AM to catch early flights. Hotel lobby is under construction, which makes it look a little rough, but otherwise, no problems.”

• Its location was convenient to the airport and downtown Syracuse.
• The staff was uninterested. The room was very small.

“The hotel is located on airport property. It is an older hotel, but is undergoing updating. The staff was not very friendly. There is a small restaurant/bar for meals in. The room we had was very small.”

• Utterly mediocre in every way.
• The room was not comfortable.

“For the price I paid for this room ($90) I expected a lot more. For starters, there were no local amenities. When checking in, the front desk clerk's voice was barely audible. The room was decent, but there was no air conditioning, and the windows could not open very stuffy! Poor reception on many TV channels, too. Very disappointed.”
