DEBORAH from LOS ANGELES
“When the staff is so wonderful, I feel a bit guilty saying the hotel just an average. The free parking and free shuttle (with extremely friendly drivers) are huge pluses in this University location. The place is clean and room service staff and food is far superior to the restaurant (I wondered why it was empty). One broken elevator out of two totals wreaks total havoc! Darkness everywhere. The bathroom lighting is a shockingly dull yellow, like a 50's horror film; and we had to take all the lampshades off in order to read, or find items in the drawers.” Jul 31, 2008 by
Joe from Bonita Springs, FL
“On Saturday night there were 2 weddings at the hotel and there was a party going on late into the night.” Mar 6, 2008 by
Terry from Oakmont, PA
“After an uncomfortable 90 degree night the management upgraded our room and gave a complementary breakfast and overnight parking.” Mar 1, 2008 by
Caroline from Wantagh, NY
“This hotel was beautifully decorated and was perfect for visiting Syracuse University because it is on the campus!” Feb 24, 2008 by
Michele from Fairport, NY
“The Sheraton was up to its usual standards. The location was very convenient to the university, which we were visiting. It's also very close to restaurants and shops. It was safe and clean, I'd stay there again!” Nov 26, 2007 by
Craig from Fredericksburg, VA
“Good.” Sep 5, 2007 by

“Great place to stay!” Aug 31, 2007 by
Diana from Medina, NY
“It should be noted in the description that you have to pay for parking. The hotel was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The whole facility is non-smoking, which we appreciated.” Jul 25, 2007 by
George from Stowe, VT
“This is a Motel Six with fluffy towels. Had to pay $20 additional for single bed. No fridge/mini bar, bathroom lighting was horrible, although light in shower was nice. No amenities. Everything had a charge. $3.50 to open the bottled water. Not even a mint on the pillow. It is a nice hotel, but definitely not 3 star. Wireless internet was a joke, minimal signal and kept getting dropped. Was able to use the wired internet with the hotel supplied 3 foot Ethernet cable. Bed was very comfortable.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 22, 2007 by

“Not a 3 star hotel. More like a motel 6 with fluffy towels. Wireless Internet was a joke. Low connectivity, kept dropping out. Wired Internet was good with the 3 foot supplied internet cable. Lighting in the bathroom was horrible, although the light in the shower was nice. The mirror lighting would make anyone look bad. Bed was comfortable. Again, not a bad hotel, but definitely not 3 stars. Syracuse has got to have nicer hotels than this one.” Jul 19, 2007 by
Bob from Springfield, NJ
“Hotel is okay. However, relative to its rack rates, it is too basic. No coffee shop, no shop. Large comfortable room and bathroom, but mattress not firm, toilet flow in adequate, ditto shower, rush in tub.” Jul 16, 2007 by
Terry from Brantford, ON CA
“Nice hotel. Clean and friendly staff. Nothing too close as far as restaurants go. $7 a day for parking seemed a little high. I would recommend the hotel.” Jul 12, 2007 by
Christine from Guilford, CT
“Pleasant, helpful staff, overpriced restaurant, decent bar menu, pool too small, great workout room, Starbucks coffee in lobby each morning.” Jul 10, 2007 by
Claire from Baltimore, MD
“This was a very convenient and lovely hotel. Close to downtown area but not walk able. Close to the interstate and rooms were very large and very comfortable.” Jul 10, 2007 by
Xp from Providence, RI
“We got a bunch of noisy teenagers next door and the night was a nightmare. The room is so not soundproof and the breath of the people in next door can be heard clearly. There is a door between the room we had and the room next to it and I guess it was a suite previously and was just turned into two guest rooms by locking the door between them. Not sure whether it is just the case for the rooms with a king-size bed. The staff seemed friendly and they did almost everything to help and the security went to the next door to warn the noisy teenagers. So good luck if you are sound-sensitive.” Jul 4, 2007 by
Doug from Jamestown, NY
“Great location and very clean. Nice complementary happy hour food.” Mar 17, 2007 by
Brenda R. from Liberty Corner, NJ
“We were told marshal street is the place to go. We went out right before dark to find a place to eat and it was eerie. We were asked for money by a panhandler and there was a gang of derelicts on the street corner. We didn't like the area at all and went back to the hotel right away.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Sep 22, 2006 by

“Sheraton always offers consistent quality.” Sep 8, 2006 by
John from Sandusky, OH
“Overall the hotel was clean and has a good location. The free parking is a plus. However, why any hotel, particularly one that is supposed to be a premium establishment, would even think of purchasing full size beds is quite beyond me. The mattresses were comfortable, yes, but they are just too small for two people to sleep on. Watch out for the bottled water, they will charge you $3.00 a bottle if you drink it.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Sep 7, 2006 by
Lori from Norwalk, CT
“The hotel is conveniently located to Syracuse Univ. The pool is great, the whirl-pool is wonderful after a long day. The exercise equipment is a higher quality than most.” Sep 6, 2006 by
Tammy from Buffalo, NY
“Overall, I would say it was a very nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.” Sep 5, 2006 by
Chris from Derrick City, PA
“This hotel was in a great part of downtown Syracuse. If our stay had been longer it would have been a great place to walk to most anything we could want to do. It was very welcoming with a great staff.” Apr 15, 2006 by
Chris from Akron, OH
“The Sheraton at Syracuse University is comparable to other Sheraton hotels. My room was quiet and comfortable. It offered free high-speed Internet through Ethernet but not Wi-Fi. The vending machine was lousy, two out of three items that I purchased were past their due date. The breakfast buffet at the in-hotel restaurant was good but pricey; a free breakfast would be a nice plus.” Apr 9, 2006 by
Kevin from Brighton, MI
“Our stay was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It is a very nice hotel, and the location is great.” Apr 4, 2006 by
Scott from Denver, CO
“I asked for a smoke free room and it smelled like I got a smoke filled hall way (4th floor)” Mar 18, 2006 by
Jeff from Pasco, WA
“Nice hotel. What I expect from Sheridan. Good beds, Good covered parking, friendly staff” Dec 18, 2005 by
