Jennifer N. from Ottawa, ON CA
“We had a very good check-in. However, the room smelled really bad of smoke when we entered it. There were burn marks from cigarettes all over the sink and the general appearance was dirty. Also, the bed was super uncomfortable and I barely slept. Also, in the middle of the night, the fridge made such loud noises that it only helped keep us awake. There were too many people outside on the patio during the night just hanging around being loud, with nobody doing anything about it. Not impressed with Econo Lodge at all. Will not return.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Andrea from Whitby, ON CA
“I was disappointed in the state of the carpet, not vacuumed, it looks like for weeks, the toilet was not working properly, kept making noises and the sheets were not clean. I arrived at around 11 pm with 2 children, who were tired from the drive. I was disgusted that I had to call the desk to request clean sheets for a bed that should have been clean in the first place. When I made my request to get sheets, I was asked to wait about 10 minutes then they would call me back, after 20 minutes I called back to find out they didn't have sheets for me and they wanted to change my room. This could not be done as I was the only adult with 2 sleeping children at 11:45 at night! This was such an inconvenience.” Aug 29, 2008 by

“Good value for a room in a downtown hotel with easy connections to all areas of Syracuse. Both cable and wireless internet that were free. Small and simple continental breakfast in lobby.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Lesley from Wellsville, NY
“Location was five easy minutes from SU campus and short drive to good selection of restaurants, but nothing within safe walking distance. Room was shabby, and would have been OK except I didnt' realize it was smoking, it smelled badly.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Andrea from Richmond, NH
“Pleasant staff and good business location in the city. Moderate accommodations. Very small area for breakfast facilities.” May 14, 2008 by
Alton from Mt Vernon, NY
“Be a soldier. I have traveled around he world and seen a lot of hotels but the econ-lodge in Syracuse was he worst the rooms, looked nasty. The bathroom was not clean. I am going to inform my army chain of command of my experience and will not recommend to soldiers on RNR from down range.” Mar 10, 2008 by
Sherry from Buffalo, NY
“For the business traveler looking for an economy trip this is perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean.” Oct 23, 2007 by
Nancy from Katy, TX
“The hotel provides fine value in a super convenient location, both for downtown Greenville and shopping. Views from the upper floors are magnificent, if you can avoid falling asleep immediately under the thick duvets covering the super comfortable king size beds.” May 31, 2007 by
Aaron W. from Beacon, NY
“A basic hotel with a friendly staff, close to downtown Syracuse. Unfortunately, we not given towels for our second night, and our request for more towels and more pillows was not fulfilled. Also, the air conditioner was turned off by staff for our second night. Probably wouldn't go there again.” Nov 1, 2006 by
Marsha from Wellsville, NY
“I am glad that we stayed there. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was excellent.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Aug 7, 2006 by

“Convenient microwave and refrigerator.” Jun 28, 2006 by
Mike from Litchfield, NH
“It was an EconoLodge so you get what you pay for. The area was a bit seedy and I'm pretty sure I heard a prostitute yelling at a customer at some point during the evening. The free continental breakfast was nice, but poor people from the neighborhood (clearly not guests) helped themselves to the free food as well.” Mar 5, 2006 by
Norm from Binghamton, NY
“Overall the hotel was adequate, but when we checked in there were empty beer cans under the bed. Obviously the staff does not clean up very well after guests check out.” Hotel Representatives:
