• Prompt, friendly shuttle service to airport. Driver very personable and friendly.
• Tile in the bathroom tub surround had mold.

“Closeness to airport is a big plus. Strange layout of common area and rooms on first floor; had to stop in bar and ask where glass doors were to access area and where the rooms were. Staff very friendly. Shuttle to airport was prompt and friendly.”

• It looked like they were trying to make some upgrades.
• The hotel was very tired, the bed had a soiled comforter, not 2.5 star!

“This was an older hotel that looked like it was trying to get updated. For 2.5 stars it was pretty disappointing. It was tired looking, our comforter was soiled and the hallway noise was pretty noticeable.”

• Public areas and amenities. Pool, hot tub, breakfast bar and computer access.
• No elevator to second level and the smell of smoke in the stair wells.

“I would definitely stay in this hotel again. It was easy to find, in an excellent location for shopping. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean with lots of amenities. In addition, the staff was courteous and friendly.”

• Dingy, dark, mostly sullen staff, filthy carpets in room.

“Dark, dingy rooms; sparse worn-out decor; large wet spot on carpet; interior rooms have no privacy; people in bar right outside window; guests were a rough crowd not business travelers; carpets so dirty our feet turned black within 10 min of walking on it.”

• The pool and bar facilities were impressive. Breakfast was the best continental meal I've ever had.
• The Jacuzzi was under maintenance which was the primary reason for choosing this hotel.

• The pillows were nice.
• Cheap, run-down, road construction in front, short complimentary breakfast time.

“This is definitely an economy style hotel. It's more along the lines of a remodeled Howard Johnson. There's a long wait in traffic to pull in the driveway because of construction. The outside is shabby. This is a two-story and the bottom floor has large what-used-to-be sliders. Security is lax. If you're vacationing, get up well before 9 because that's when the comp breakfast ends. Bed is hard as a rock. No fan in the bathroom so it steams up. A/C doesn't cool effectively.”

• If staying on the first floor you hear toilets and showers in the rooms above.

“This hotel is conveniently located to the Carousel Mall and other attractions. The complimentary breakfast is a bonus. Try to stay on the second floor to avoid sound disturbances.”

• More than what we expected. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We will return again and will recommend to friends.
• Unable to complete this section. The only negative the stay was short.

“The maid left her dust cloth on top of my toothbrush the first day and on the second day turned the air conditioner to the coldest temperature when the outside temperature was very cold. Staff attitudes were poor.”

• The room was a great size.
• At one time it had a usable sliding door. However, it has been secured and not usable.

“I was very please with the room and its size. There was a very large dressing area at the entry that had a full size decorative mirror. There was a great variety of food for breakfast. The hotel is located off a major highway which was very convenient. We had an enjoyable night.”

• Fitness center is very limited.

“I had to stay 2 nights for business. Saturday night I had some great wings and a burger at the bar. There was also a wedding reception going on as well as a pool party. I didn't mind at all as I would have been quite bored. Sundays, the bar/lounge area was closed. Please keep this in mind if you are going to rely on the hotel for food. The city and malls are all very close and easy to get to if you have time to kill. There were no problems with my room at all. The "fitness" room was a joke though, that and the bar /lounge being closed on Sunday were the only drawbacks.”

“This hotel makes every effort to accommodate its guests. They are extremely friendly and the customer service is excellent. Breakfast offered lots of variety and the breakfast area was very clean. I've stayed at this hotel more than once and have been very pleased.”

“This was a great, inexpensive hotel with indoor pool and Jacuzzi. The complimentary breakfast was far better than those cheap continental breakfasts some chains offer. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was super.”

• There are no elevators, the shuttle does not run until midnight.

“The atmosphere is pleasant, workers are polite, the business center offers free use of computers and Internet as well as fax machine. The rooms are clean though the beds (mattress) need updating. Overall it was a pleasant stay.”

• The hotel is conveniently located near highway 81 which is not very difficult to find.
• Front desk staff was not very friendly.

“I reserved a room for two adults and two children. When I came to the hotel, the front desk staff told me that there were no double beds, only king or queen size bed. I asked if they could provide me an additional bed or a mattress. She said NO. She could either refund my money or take whatever available. I said Okay. I would like to take a double-bed. She kept asking me if I was sure. Finally, I asked her what choice I had. Very disappointed.”

“Many rooms face pool area inside hotel, not as nice as outside rooms. At first, we were given a "non-smoking room" that smelled like smoke and had no "no smoking" signs in it. We had to insist on another room.”
