“I was very pleased with the hotel and would stay there again.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Angie from Richmond, VA
“Our room smelled like smoke, had cigarette holes on the chairs and bed covers. The desk had a lot of scratches, the shower curtain kept opening while taking a shower so the floor was always wet, the drain wasn't properly working so it was always flooded in the bathtub, the sink and toilet made weird sounds, called room service to bring up more towels and pillows and it took them 30 minutes to do so! But worst of all, someone called us at 12:18AM to ask if someone had left a freaking duffel bag in our room. That was rude and unnecessary why would anyone even think of calling someone at that time? Upon check out, the two people working in the front desk didn't seem very friendly, didn't even bother asking how our stay was and not even a thank you from them. Very unprofessional! Never again will I stay at a Holiday Inn. Bad experience! Its a good thing we only stayed for one night. My kids and husband are not very picky when it comes to hotels, but they were very disappointed with this hotel.” May 17, 2008 by

“The hotel was clean and in a nice part of town. The staff were professional, but not very friendly. For the price, a complimentary continental breakfast should be included. Airport shuttle was very convenient, and the drivers were helpful and friendly.” Feb 15, 2008 by
Barney from Grove City, OH
“The hotel seems quite new, probably less than a year old. It is near the main interstate (I-64), making access to almost anywhere in the area convenient. Although not "at" the airport, it is within about a five minute drive. The staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient. The bedroom was large, with a large bureau and TV. Contrast to the "sitting room" which was a bit small, but had a second TV. I entertained family in the sitting room for a few hours, and we were all comfortable. A small kitchenette finishes the suite. Be sure to reserve one of the few suites. There are 4 double (bed) suites, 4 king suites, and 4 king with Jacuzzi tub suites.” Jun 23, 2007 by

“I would stay here again as it was conveniently located to shopping and dining. Felt very safe as the police station was just up the street. Very convenient location to the Norfolk airport. Staff was friendly. My only complaint was the whirlpool jets were barely working.” Apr 20, 2005 by

“I spend about 70 days a year in hotels and outside of the Sheraton on Waikiki Beach, this is my favorite hotel to stay in. I wish I could pick up the building and take the staff with me on all of my trips. When I didn't feel well and the hotel was out of cough syrup, they sent someone to pick it up for me and deliver it to my room. The staff is always very courteous. The maids are nice and professional. The lobby area is very nice and very well maintained. Location is great because it is only 5 minutes to the Airport. Wal-Mart is 3 minutes, the mall is 4 minutes, and 7 nice restaurants are within 5 minutes. I am a Platinum Priority Club Member, a Gold Marriot Rewards Member and a Gold Member of Sheraton's Star wood. So my choices of stays are limitless, yet this hotel gets my top U.S. vote every time.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
