• Absolutely nothing, except for the parking lot the space was great.
• The room was clean, the garbage was empty, no wash cloths call front desk she ask me to come and get. I didn't comply.

• I liked the price.
• I did not like the service, the cleanliness, the hospitality.

“I was very disappointed, the room was dirty, the toilet wouldn't flush, the internet would not connect and they would not come help me, called twice. The breakfast was over at 9:30 and not at 10 a.m.”

• I liked the free internet service and convenience to restaurants.
• The room could have cleaner furniture (desk chair and armchair).

“The Ramada is close to dining areas and is centrally located to places of interest. The room could have been cleaned better. It wasn't a bad stay for the price.”

• Nothing. It was a very bad experience.
• They did not have any towels and when asked they told me I had to wait till the next morning after 9am for them to "get some more washed".

“This hotel was terrible. They didn't have any towels and when asked they told me I had to wait till the next morning after 9am for them to "get some more washed".. I had to leave by 8am and the TV didn't work and there were so many folks "living" at the hotel that they were actually having a barbecue right outside my door on a personal barbecue... at 11pm at night! the "breakfast" bar consisted of some bread, a toaster and a bowl of luke-warm "gravy" this place was terrible!”

• The clerk at the front desk was very nice. She did help us with our complaints.
• The rooms were not clean. We changed rooms two different times and the wrong credit card was charged.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else unless they needed to claim that they stayed in that area. the rooms were not clean, the sheets were not changed, the drinking glasses were Nasty, the floors had not been hovered, there was stains on the chairs, the sink had hair in it not ours), all together we changed rooms two times finally settling on a room with clean sheet only, we wore our shoes the whole time. I cleaned the john just to use the bathroom. I was afraid that I would catch something. I would recommend that this hotel be removed from any kind of list to stay at on any occasion. I would have not stayed at this hotel if I was aware of the room conditions. Also the wrong credit card was charged. I honestly would like my money back!”

• 24 hour desk clerk.
• The room was a dump. This motel does not even rate a star level 1.

“Took 45 minutes to find a room that a key actually worked. Room had wall paper peeling floor to ceiling in living area and bathroom. Bathroom door did not shut because catch was broken. Bathroom shower curtain full of mildew as was wall near tub. No maid service at all though we were there 2 days. Had to get my own towels from desk clerk. This hotel is not even a star 1 level. Stay away! Is tarnishing Ramada¿s good reputation!”

• The wallpaper managed not to fall on me.
• It was a dump.

“While the staff was nice, the place was a disaster. Dirty, nasty, bad area---do not stay here. Sleep in your car first. It was ridiculously cheap, $52 for the evening. Still I would go to Avis and see what kind of car I could rent to sleep in if money is the issue.”

• I really enjoyed how helpful the staff was.
• I did not like that there were no refrigerators or microwaves in the king size bed and the ice didn't work on the second floor.

“The review of this hotel would have to be neat and it was clean but room service didn't come around that often. The view is ok off the highway there are so many stores and things to do around that area. The hotel waiting area was neat and clean as well.”

• Stephon, the desk attendant, should teach classes in providing good customer service.
• At first, it was a little hard to figure out how to get to it as the entrance was a bit awkward to find.

“I had a very pleasant experience here, and it was fine for business travel. The room had a comfortable recliner, a comfortable bed with good pillows, and the courtesy breakfast actually had a couple of hot dishes.”

• Very convenient to main roads. Clean, quiet.
• Wallpaper in bathroom peeling, but clean. Would prefer a choice of 2 beds. No atm or newspaper (local) available.

“It was a little overpriced for the room. The next w/e I wanted to come dowm it went from $99.00 to $105.00.It was a good place to just lay your head, quiet, convenient. Breakfast was good, very friendly lady, but her coffee was weak!!”

• Where do I even begin.

“In a phrase: NEVER EVER BOOK YOUR HOTEL STAY HERE! Not only was it a dump, but someone entered our room in THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT and the hotel personnel could have cared less about our concern for safety. For the amount of money we paid to stay, we would've been happier sleeping in our car in a deserted parking lot.”

• Impossible to find due to it being a Howard Johnson. Entrance and Exit were hidden. Wireless Internet did not work.

• They tried to accommodate our needs.
• I thought the price was too high. Ice machine was upstairs.

“The people all seemed nice. It has nice grounds but we did not like having to park so far from our room. The ice machines were upstairs and one of the machines was not working. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.”

• Nice pool, decent breakfast
• Assigned a smoking room and not given an option to change (there were vacant nonsmoking rooms all around us)

“Other than having to stay in a smoking room, it was a good hotel with a nice pool and a good location for seeing all of the sights in the Norfolk/Va Beach area”

• clean rooms, king room available when hotel was sold out
• seemed a bit pricey

“the howard johnson was a decent hotel. i didn't really expect much since our stay was relatively short. the rooms were clean, check-in/out was quick and simple, and despite the hotel being sold out, i was able to get the type of room i wanted. not sure if it was pricey due to the weekend but all in all it was worth the trip.”
