• Location was
  convenient to ODU & VA Beach.
• Room could of been cleaner, but at least no bugs.

“Room could of been cleaner, but at least no bugs. Staff was friendly. Parking side of motel a bit loud, and could hear kids running across the floor upstairs, might be worth it to pay for court side room. Plenty of shopping/food to be found near motel. Kids upstairs must of overflowed bathtub, because at one point we had water coming through our bathroom light. Called front desk, and they said there was nothing they could do about it until the morning - luckily it stopped after about 5minutes - we mopped up the water.”

• A place to lay my head with an added breakfast if you wanted and nice location,
  TV and decent bed.

“The hotel was fine nice and clean, convenient location. Walking distance to shopping and dining, near major road. Comfortable, simple, clean with friendly staff.”

• Mattress was stained/dirty

“Continental breakfast was to be included. 45 minutes after the announced time front door was still locked and the dining staff had disappeared and did not have breakfast available. Room was comfortable. Hot water took a long time in reaching faucets. Mattress was stained.”

• Excellent staff, friendly and courteous.
• Did not have wireless access anywhere in the hotel. Shabby and not up to date on repairs.

“The hotel was conveniently located close to VA Beach and close to plenty of shopping and dining. The staff was 5 diamond rating but the hotel itself did not measure up to the staff. It needs to be more thoroughly cleaned and kept more up to date on repairs.”

“It is more like a motel than a hotel. There were way too many young adults, giving it an uncomfortable spring break atmosphere, including a drunken fight and many smokers hanging around the doorways.”

• The hotel pool was very enjoyable for our family.
• The room was dirty. Lots of hair in our bathroom at check-in. The blanket on the bed had a stain. The front desk staff was rude.

“The hotel experience was enjoyable for my children. They loved playing in the pool. I was however, very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom had a lot of hair on the floor at check-in; the blankets on the bed were disgusting with stains. The staff at the front desk was very rude and offered no help or assistance.”

“For one, it's hard to find. You'll drive by it before you see it. The buildings are old and the rooms smell. There are certainly better hotels/motels close by.”

• Front desk and pool staff were very helpful. Room/bath were clean. Quiet location, not far from restaurants and shopping areas.
• A mini-microwave would have been great to go with the mini-fridge.

“This hotel fulfilled our needs for lodging short-term. It was clean, quiet with a convenient location. While visiting with family close to the Naval Base, would stay there again.”

“The hotel was not clean or ready when we arrived. The tub had hair in it and we had to request a cleaner who was 3 hours late as well as had to get new bed sets. It was dirty and the lights were dim. We had to constantly deal with a rude staff personnel who was unprofessional and seemed of no help. The location is not far from stores and eating places or the beach and attractions but you can definitely find better for cheap it was just last minute and during a holiday.”

• The internet did not work properly.

“The maid service was good. The hotel worked hard to please me. My room was bug free. Breakfast was on time and with a variety of foods to eat. It was a great location for shopping and eating.”

• Huge roaches in room.

“The hotel appearance was OK, The lobby stunk with cigarette smoke and I don't like to unlock the door to my room the first visitor is a large cockroach, and it was pretty bold, it was not afraid of me, but I got no sleep at all, I don't like to live with roaches.”

• Some of the local tenants seemed a bit shady.

“Overall we had a great stay. There were some shady characters staying there seemed almost permanently. Kind a far from the beach. About 20 min drive. For the price I can't complain.”

• The continental breakfast is well-maintained and the indoor pool is a great year-round option.
• We have no complaints.

“The room was clean and comfortable. Extra towels and shampoo were quickly brought upon request. The pool/sauna/hot tub facility is nice and central to all parts of the property. Though right near the 264 highway entrance ramp, we never heard a peep from the interstate traffic. There is a steakhouse attached to the lobby of the hotel so you never really have to leave the premises. All-in-all a fabulous bargain for the cost and star-level of hotel.”

• I didn't like the fact that the shower had to be fixed and I was in a corner room.

“I did like the location because it was close to the airport, but I didn't like the fact that it was on the 2nd floor in a corner. I also couldn't take a shower late that night because the shower handle was broken. The hotel overall was nice but I just had a bad experience. I would go back if I had no where to stay. Thanks.”

“I had very bad experience in this hotel; I had to change the room 3 times because of problems in the restroom. Very bad behavior from the manager of the hotel, just because we ask for a better service. In addition she was not polite while talking to us and she was dealing with us as if we were part of her staff.”
