• The location, lobby, and decor was nice.
• The room was too small, double beds instead of queen, the fitted sheets wouldn't stay on the beds,

“This was like a resort that was probably great in the 80's but hasn't been kept up. The room was too small, and the bathroom especially was tiny. The sinks are in the room with the toilet thus making it inconvenient for multiple guests to get dressed, etc. The TV was great... an LG!”

• It was the best looking rooms and property I have seen in a long time of hotel stays.
• Smell of cigarette smoke in the room.

“It was a first class experiance. It will be our primary hotel when in eastern Pennsylvania from now on. The grounds and decor were exceptional. The rooms were well maintained and the staff that we saw, were professsional in appearance. My wife and I stay in hotels three to four times a year and this establishment was extremely exteptional. We wished we didn't have to leave.”

• We especially liked having two very nice restaurants.
• The elevators were a little too small, but they were also handy on both ends.

“This is a nice resort in an urban setting, handy to Amish country and lots of nice restaurants and shopping areas. We were very pleased.”

• Microwave, fridge, quiet, plush.

“Very nicely appointed, fancy looking rooms. Had fridge and microwave. Had flat screen TV, but picture suffered from lack of digital feed. Bathroom was a little small, but adequate. Very nice pool and hot tub area. Also had nice outside pool, tennis court and playground.”

• Attractive facilities, such as outside and indoor pools.
• Very bad smell in corridor and steps, coffee machine in bath room.

“We were so disappointed after one night stay in the hotel. I have to say those facilities are still fantastic. The TV in the room is very good too, and we enjoyed watching Olympic closing ceremony. As a room in 3 star hotel, the room is kind of small but still okay for two adults with a kid. It is a really bad idea putting the coffee machine in the small tiny bath room. Can you imaging someone can drink or even make coffee next to toilet bowl? The smell in the room is also not good, and the smells in the corridor and steps are horrible. At least they can shampoo the carpet.”

• Very family oriented hotel, lot's of kids.

“Very large hotel, only there one night and we arrived late, so we could not enjoy all of the amenities. Close to Lancaster not so close to Hershey for 2 tired kids after a day at Hershey. Food looked to be a bit pricey, especially for Lancaster. We ate at the Country Inn for a quarter of what this hotel wanted to charge for Breakfast.”

• I really liked the use of the room key to enter any floor of the hotel. This method prevents strangers from lurking about the premises.

“This hotel was excellent for me and my family. It is conveniently located near many of the attractions in the area. I will be staying at this location again before the summer ends!”

• Absolutely beautiful!
• Pools close a little on the early side.

“We had a wonderful stay! Only stayed for 1 night, and wished we could have stayed for more. We were unfamiliar with the area, and the hotel staff helped out a lot. Would have missed a lot if it wasn't for the guide book and map provided in the room.”

• Quality of hotel beyond expectations.
• The only thing we didn't like was there was no outside entrance directly to room.

“We realize that the newer higher scale motel/hotels do not have outside entrances directly to rooms but that didn't seem to affect us much this trip as we had a second floor room near a side entrance/exit. Everything else was great!”

• Excellent internet service. Pleasant room, comfortable. Attractive lobby area.
• The coffeepot in the room had dirt in it that caused the water to come out dirty, and I was unsuccessful in communicating that to the staff.

“This was an excellent experience, conveniently located to Pa Dutch country. Hotel was very comfortable and pleasant. I was worried at first because the hotel says it accepts pets, but there was no evidence of pets, pet hair, or pet smell anywhere.”

• Very nice decor and very clean. Staff was professional and friendly.
• The pool was outside our door and we heard kids playing at 9:00 AM.

“Everything you want in hotel is encompassed by the Eden resort. The only thing I did not like was that the pool in the middle of the hotel and the rooms surrounded the pool. It looks cool but in the morning, if you want to sleep in because you are on vacation, you can't sleep in because kids are playing by the pool at 9:00 AM. If they opened the pool a little later that would help or if they had a no noise policy until 11 or 12. Other than that this was a terrific hotel.”

• The TV remote didn't work so you had to switch channels by hand.

• It was clean and conveniently located. I liked the security features, no access to 2 and 3 floors, without a room key.
• Breakfast was too expensive.

“We had an enjoyable overnight stay. The room was clean. The desk staff was very friendly. They even called after our arrival to see if everything was fine in the room.”

• Location is great, common areas pretty, restaurant good.
• Our room was NOISY, smelled of paint, and was in a utility corner; cig smoke (employees) smelled in hallway and into room, room not quite finished.

“This is an attractive hotel for families. The pool and common areas were full of children and it was noisy. Our room was stuck in a corner across from ice and vending machines, and the engineering and housekeeping rooms were all around. Employees' smoke (I assume it was not guests as there were no other guest rooms right there) came into our hallway and even into the room. It was terribly noisy in the room as guests got ice and vending items well into the night. The room was smelly from fresh paint and other new decor, and was missing a bedside table. The decor was fresh (too fresh!) and attractive.”

• The public spaces were beautiful, the hotel was spotless, and outdoor pool was excellent.
• I liked everything about the hotel.

“The hotel is well located on the edge of town. The whole experience is first class: rooms, public spaces, staff, pools, wireless internet. The main restaurant features fountains. As a runner, I was able to leave the hotel, and within a couple of minutes, found myself on quiet country roads, just what I was looking for.”

• Rooms were oversized
• Very loud, people running around, dogs barking.

“The rooms were not exactly what I expected. Our room had no outside window and over looked a ball room where people played cards at late hours. There was mold on the bathroom floor. Pool was unsafe as water was "everywhere". Pets were allowed so they barked all night only to be told they are a pet friendly hotel. If I were to try and stay again it would only be in a suite with an outside window.”

• This was a decent hotel for the money but not much more.
• Room was old, furniture was stained and we felt a bit cramped.

“Overall for the money this is not a bad hotel. We paid $99 for a room with double beds and a fridge. We did not take advantage of pool, spa or exercise room so I really cannot comment on these. I was glad that there was internet access w/ free printing. This helped for trip planning. Overall I would rate this hotel a satisfactory but I was definitely not overwhelmed.”
