• Nothing.
• Location, accessibility, lack of cleanliness, uncomfortable beds, old and outdated facilities, and lack of decor.

“With all due respect, I cannot recommend nor would I revisit the Best Western at this location.”

• Common areas reeked of cigarette smoke at times.

• Accommodations, breakfast buffet, in room fridge and microwave and location.
• The bathroom was small, without a fan vent and the entrances were a little tricky and small.

• Since we were in a metropolitan area, I felt very safe because of the lighting outside and the security inside the hotel.
• I wish the bathroom would have had a fan, as it fogged up quickly.

“I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and courteous at all times. The room were very nice. I particularly enjoyed having a refrigerator, microwave and coffeepot in the room. It was helpful to have an iron and ironing board in the room. The only negative I found was that the vents in the room and bathroom were in dire need of being cleaned. It was very quiet at all times. The breakfasts that were served each morning were great. The food was well-prepared, plentiful and hot. The staff was so accommodating to our every need. My husband loves blueberry muffins. The second morning there were none on the food bar, so he asked if there were any in the kitchen. A few minutes later, she brought out a plate with four blueberry muffins. Needless to say, he was very impressed.”

• The bed and room were very comfortable.
• Some other guest were quite noisy after 10 pm, which made it difficult to fall asleep.

“I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the room. The staff was very friendly, and check in was easy, and not to time consuming. I look froward to staying there again on my next business trip.”

• Convenient to I-64.
• Key card readers didn't work on the first two rooms I was given.

“The building is somewhat dated with some odd architectural features like the square room tower. The rooms have been recently redecorated, with extra emphasis in the bathroom. The key card readers didn't work on the first two rooms I was given. The desk clerk told me I needed to pull the door toward him to get it to work. I've never used a key card before. However, the maintenance staff responded quickly and was very helpful in determining the problem and getting me into a room that he verified had a working key card reader.”

• The hotels rooms are nice and seem to have been renovated recently.
• No room service. No business supplies at the front desk.

“The hotel rooms are very nice; however the keys didn't always work. I also heard other guests complain about their keys. There was no room service.”

• Easy access to interstate, dining, shopping.
• Tub was dirty, bath fixtures did not function well, no free breakfast.

“Fine as a place to spend the night when traveling, but certainly not a destination hotel. The lobby and restaurant were nice, but the room was more what I would expect from a Days Inn or Super 8.”

“The staff was friendly but when the coffee pot in the room wouldn't work I asked 3 different times and never got it replaced. The rooms were outdated but nice. The bathroom was really small and couldn't have more than one person in there at a time.”

• This hotel was beautiful, spacious, and the location was great.
• There was mold around the tub's surface and the refrigerator freezer needed to be defrosted.

• It was very centrally located, and the price was excellent.
• The room had no window. It was one of about 5 or 6 rooms that faced the indoor pool on the 1st floor. So it kind of left you with no privacy.

“Again it was centrally located for my needs. Restaurants were great. Easy access to everything. Rooms were nice and clean. And hotel staff were quick to make you happy. Other then the no window it was a nice stay.”

“Really expected the hotel to not be nice. I was pleased to be wrong. Although the bathroom was very small, the beds were comfortable and the air worked well. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.”

• A great the location which is surrounded by restraints and shopping. The indoor pool, fridge and microwave was an great bonus.
• The sink that was stopped up and no 24 hour maintenance help.

“The environment and room was clean all around and the parking spaces were conveniently close. The microwave and fridge was a huge plus for the hotel. However a DVD player in the room would have been greatly appreciated. I am totally satisfied with the overall experience.”

• The staff was very friendly on our departure. Location was close to area attractions and restaurants.
• We were first given a dirty room, when we complained to the front desk we were given another dirty room. After 3 tries we were given a clean room.

“It was okay for our needs of a reasonable hotel for a weekend get away to Busch gardens. 2 nights was enough there. Not a hotel I would use for a week long vacation.”

• Nice weight/exercise room and pool.
• Put us in an area where a group of motorcyclists were. All night roaring outside.

“If the motorcycle group had not been there, it would have been reasonable. As it was, we were subjected to motorcycles cruising the hotel parking lot until at least 3 a.m., gunning their engines. They were wearing their club jackets, and I didn't feel like confronting them. The management's decision to rent to them was a very poor one, and extremely inconsiderate of other guests. When I complained the next morning (Sunday, august 26) all I got was a giggle from the front desk clerk and she said they should have placed us on a higher floor. Sound travels up as well as down. We won't be going back. The room also reeked of smoke, and we were not asked if we wanted a smoking room.”

• Room was unacceptable

“The room appearance was not acceptable. Water from the air conditioner leaked on the floor. There was some unexplained water in the bath room. Our clothes were exposed because the closet door apparently had been removed. I was more than disappointed. This information was reported to the front desk at the close of my stay. They insulted me by asking if I would like a free breakfast and immediately told me that they were sorry because breakfast was over at 10:00 AM and I checked out around 10:15 AM.”

• Friendliness of staff at check in.
• Shower TV and fridge did not work properly.

“Located off mercury blvd close to everything needed to make a stay pleasant, only drawback was the noise of people running in the hallway at 6 am but that is not the staff's fault and the faulty reception on the TV, the length of time to cool the fridge and the shower malfunctioning all in all not bad for the price.”

“I must say my hotel stay was nice, excusing the unclean carpet that greeted me from the lobby to the upper floors of the Quality Inn Hotel, in Hampton, VA near Interstate 64. The Hotel could use some remodeling/painting. The hospitality shown from the folks at the front desk and the cleaning crew was very good. Thank You.”
