“The hotel corridors smelled. The staff was not so friendly. I stayed for just a night and was very happy to leave next morning.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Karen from Rye, NY
“This was not a well maintained hotel. The walls and ceiling in my room were in terrible condition. The bedding was worn and shabby. The pillows were like rocks too. The location was perfect for us. Close to everything.” Feb 17, 2008 by
William from Madison, CT
“Nice room & bed. Nice main lobby. Nice restaurant. Nice pool. Very clean room and lobby. Very good location. Very good staff. Need elevator at other end of building.” Feb 13, 2008 by
William from Syracuse, NY
“It was clean but I did not like the fact that there were double beds.” Jan 29, 2008 by
Frank from Kingston, PA
“Overall, the hotel was accommodating and convenient within the Ithaca area. I would stay there again. The hotel restaurant and lounge was very pleasant and the lobby has a nice meeting area to sit back and relax by the fireplace.” Dec 12, 2007 by
Greg from Bangor, PA
“Worn out, tired appearance to rooms. Bathtub was cracked, chipped, and stained. Room poorly illuminated. Not worth the rack rates.” Nov 28, 2007 by
Sarah from Brooklyn, NY
“The Ramada exceeded my expectations. The rooms were nice and cozy. The bedroom was clean with nice linens on the beds, and nice big pillows. The bathroom could have been updated but was fine for my purposes. No refrigerator in the room. All in all a great experience!” Sep 26, 2007 by
Mike from Baldwinsville, NY
“Hotel was fine for my needs.” Sep 25, 2007 by
Judy from Narragansett, RI
“Not a great hotel.” Sep 10, 2007 by
Stacy from Palmyra, NY
“Lobby nice, rooms average or slightly better. We were excited about brunch buffet until we got down there & saw it. If bathroom had been clean, accommodations would have been viewed much differently.” Dec 13, 2006 by
Ellen from Amherst, NY
“Hotel was somewhat rundown. Rooms need some renovation. The pool area was not up too cleanliness standards. There was no coffee provided in the lobby or rooms which would have been nice especially for business travelers. Location is somewhat removed from downtown Ithaca area. Downtown visitors would benefit from a location closer to the center of town.” Sep 27, 2006 by
Carol from Salisbury, MA
“The hotel stay was pleasant and pet friendly. Restaurant staff was friendly and welcoming. The room had newer furniture and bed covering. Wall paper was dirty and really gave the room a dirty presence yet the bathroom was clean and also the room.” Sep 17, 2006 by

“The hotel is located in a convenient area. There is a shopping mall in walking distance as are an Applebee's and Friendly's. The lobby is dark and dreary as are the rooms. The staff while very friendly and helpful were understaffed. The dining room continued in this dreary, dark, ill lit decor. Also at breakfast the next morning there was a business meeting being held in a portion of the dining room. There were 20+ people and only one waitress for the whole place. There was a choice between a buffet breakfast, 1 chaffing dish of eggs, 1 breakfast meats and potatoes and one pancakes and french toast or menu service. Picture the regular hotel guests, which at that time were about 6-8 people, plus this business meeting group descending upon 1 chaffing dish of eggs! Not a pretty sight. We ordered off the menu and our breakfast was very good, so they know how to cook. They were just ill prepared to serve.” Aug 29, 2006 by
Sharon from Ottawa, ON CA
“This hotel is easy to find from the highway and is in a good location near a large mall and a few other strip malls. Friendly is across the street. The hotel has a business feel to it. It was very clean and updated. The only negatives were that there was rust in the sink drain (otherwise spotless) and we were only given 2 double beds which were a bit small for 2 people each. We had a nice stay here.” May 10, 2006 by
Eileen from Green Island, NY
“Our TV didn't work, we called the front desk at 1045p about the problem, the night manager, name of Gilbert, went above and beyond what we expected, by bringing a new TV to the room himself!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
