“Would definitely recommend.” Mar 31, 2009 by
Steve from Syracuse,NY
“Hotel is a class act and not being full we could have at least been offered a king room and not be put in a twin double handicap room.” Jul 7, 2008 by
Mabel from Grapevine, TX
“The staff was first class in their assistance to their guests. The rooms are appointed beautifully and were very comfortable. The Naval Academy, restaurants and tourist sites are within walking distance although a good hike for some.” May 22, 2008 by
Valerie H. from Annapolis, MD
“I forgot a comb and called down to the front desk and they barely spoke English and told me, they did not have any combs or brushes. Also, I was told I might be able to find one in a vending machine. When I took a shower, the water that came out was brown and rusty for about 15 seconds. I would expect better from the Marriot.” May 20, 2008 by
Gary from Burlington, NJ
“Was a fantastic weekend walking around the harbor for commission week but coming back to the hotel was a comfortable oasis in the hustle of the city. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family.” Apr 25, 2008 by
Karen from Melbourne Beach, FL
“Very nice hotel. Parking is $19/day which is steep, but otherwise, I was very satisfied with our stay. The staff was great and the room was beautiful and had a beautiful view. We were charged $4 for a water that we didn't consume, but I took the bill to the front desk and they took the charge off immediately.” Apr 23, 2008 by

“The room was excellent, large flat panel TV, internet access, very nice furnishings and bedding, wonderful view from the room of the water and the naval academy, the wedding I attended was very well planned by Kim from the hotel as well.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Mary L. from Stow, OH
“This hotel is located conveniently close to the Annapolis waterfront area and has it's own dock around the outside of the hotel. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Our room had a strange bed set up that folded up into a unit on the wall and was not very comfortable. We had a hard time getting the temperature adjusted to a comfortable level for sleeping. You can tell this is an older hotel that they've updated a bit. I've stayed in several Marriott hotels and missed the comfortable mattress that I usually get in a Marriott.” Apr 15, 2008 by
Jerry from Baltimore, MD
“I really liked my brief stay at this hotel. Since then, I have recommended it numerous times to my coworkers and employees.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Sharon from North Lima, OH
“This is a very nice hotel in the best location in Annapolis. The room was very nice, with a great television and wonderful bath and body works amenities. I do hate it when you pay to stay in an upscale hotel and they charge you for internet use. Also, our room was on the third floor with huge air conditioning units outside of our window on a connecting roof. This was very noisy inside our room. The view from the hotel restaurant is wonderful, and the food from room service was very good.” Apr 9, 2008 by

“Nice hotel. Great restaurant and lounge. Flat screen/high def TV in room. Highly recommend!” Mar 23, 2008 by
John from Berwyn, PA
“Very comfortable.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Cristina from Longwood, FL
“We specifically chose this hotel because of its location. We LOVE Annapolis, and wanted to stay on the water.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Cynthia from Hackensack, NJ
“This hotel is in a great location and is upscale. However, although the rooms are beautifully decorated and have large plasma TVs, the rooms on the second floor raked of the cooking smells from the banquet halls on the same floor. It was so bad on the night we were there that we had to leave the room until the party was over. Our clothes all smelled of garlic when we left. Otherwise, we really liked the hotel and the staff was pleasant and helpful.” Jan 31, 2008 by
Gail from Old Saybrook, CT
“We recently spent 4 days in Annapolis to attend our son's wedding. Many family members choose the Annapolis Waterfront Marriott as their hotel because of it's perfect location. At any given time there were at least 12 - 16 of us visiting the shops, gathering for lunch or taking a walk to enjoy an ice cream or a cup of coffee. The smaller children released some of their energy at the school playground across the street. Having a full restaurant at the hotel was convenient for room service, breakfast, and assembling for dinner and drinks in the evening. Staying there made our great event even more perfect.” Jan 6, 2008 by
Shelley from Annapolis, MD
“What a great location, but it could be so much nicer with just a few improvements. A tad more enthusiasm from the staff would be a starter. $19 for valet parking is a little much! And there is really no where else to park (you can not self park). The thing that really grossed me out was the extremely moldy air vent in the shower and all the peeling wall paper. My requested crib was a small pack and play that had seen better days. Restaurant is fair but a little bit of a tourist trap, food could be improved. But all in all it was nice but disappointing. It has the potential to be so much nicer! The only waterfront hotel in Annapolis!” Jun 2, 2007 by
Brenda from Fort Mill, SC
“I loved the hotel. Must stay on the waterfront.” Mar 31, 2007 by
Janet from Jacksonville, FL
“We stayed at this hotel while visiting the Naval Academy. Unfortunately, we arrived after midnight and had to leave first thing in the morning so we really did not get to enjoy the hotel. It seemed to be a great location right on the water and walking distance to the shops/restaurants in Annapolis. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The only negative, as with many hotels in urban settings, was that they charge an extra fee for parking.” Feb 23, 2007 by
Andrew from Russia, OH
“Hotel was great, parking was an issue. ” Sep 7, 2006 by
Becky from Greenville, NC
“Large, beautifully decorated room. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the waterfront room and view. Great restaurant and bar. Very friendly staff. Unbelievable location. Walked to shops, restaurants, Navy football game. Water taxis available to take you to other restaurants across the bridge. Loved it. Definitely going back.” Jul 19, 2006 by
Ric from College Park, MD
“This hotel is the only one on the water in downtown Annapolis. It has a great restaurant or is steps from many other. Nice place. Pricey, but worth it.” Apr 27, 2006 by
Steve from Lebanon, NJ
“Great location. Wonderful room and nothing was any trouble at all for the staff. Food was OK but not great (e.g. breakfast buffet omelette's made with egg mixture from a carton, pancake mixture was also out of a carton and the syrup was not real maple syrup).” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 24, 2005 by

“Location is in downtown Annapolis, right next to the water. We parked the car and didn't use it the entire weekend. Dozens of very nice restaurants and bars are within walking distance and dozens of attractions to included the U.S. Naval Academy and Navy-Marine Corps memorial stadium. The hotel itself is very nice but generally very pricey. This was a great way to stay at a hotel we normally wouldn't fork out for.” Nov 1, 2005 by
Deborah from Virginia Beach, VA
“The best part of staying at the hotel was being close to shops, etc. and walking distance to the Naval Academy. Also, since we did drive there, it was great to have valet parking with a friendly staff and good service. Although the outside of the hotel was not very pretty, the inside was very attractive and quite tastefully done. I plan to return and would highly recommend it to friends.” Oct 25, 2005 by
Robert from Long Beach, CA
“Lovely hotel in a lovely town. Great location on the water. Nice staff, particularly parking and bell staff.” Nov 11, 2004 by
“Several friends and I stayed at the Annapolis Waterfront Marriott Hotel. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The only glitch was that they were in the process of switching from AC to heat and the rooms were a bit warm. Also, we requested 2 double beds in each room but only got it in one. The other had a King bed. Overall, I highly recommend it and will go again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
