• The front staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
• Entrance to the hotel is very poorly marked and difficult to find. If it had been at night, I wouldn't have found it at all.

• Easy access to I-95 North.

“My needs were simple. I needed a clean comfortable place to stay while I was covering a lot of distance. I was leaving the following morning on I-95 North. This hotel was very close to I-95 North, and let me start my driving day with the Baltimore/Washington Metroplex behind me. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. Service was simple, and continental breakfast was fine. Room was quiet considering how close it was to the highway. Adequate parking was available at no extra cost. This is not a destination hotel, but a simple I need a place to sleep hotel. If I was doing the same trip over again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.”

• Very nice pool and lifeguard. Good breakfast.
• My toilet was rust stained and needed replacing or cleaning.

“It's a little run down in places, and not perfectly clean. The pool is nice and there is a Wal-Mart and a few restaurants across the streets. Front desk staff was helpful. Difficult to get taxis and Inner Harbor is at least a $30 ride. The airport is $60. Hotel is in suburban/rural area, so renting a car is suggested.”

• Difficult to locate. Road blocked easy access to hotel.

“I enjoyed my 2-day stay at this hotel. Quiet location, very friendly staff. Room phone didn't work, tricky deadlock on room door. No easy access from the freeway exit into hotel parking lot. Overall, however, the hotel is clean, convenient to freeways, and a large Wal-Mart is right across the street!”

• The rooms were very nicely decorated.
• There were a lot of loud parties going on.

“When we first walked into our room I was very impressed with the decorating. But, while I'm sure that this is not the normal occupancy of this hotel, the hotel was full of high school and college students. We went with our young son and were put on a floor full of college students. When I saw them wheel a luggage cart full of beer into their room I began to cringe. At 2am they were still screaming in the hallways, no one saying anything. We were going to extend our stay, but after not getting any sleep we decided to go elsewhere. I seem like a decent hotel, but they should put a little more care into who they check-in where, i.e.: don't put a family on a party floor.”

• The hotel staff was friendly and helped as much as they could.
• I did not like the fact that I could not extend my stay at the same price per night as first promised.

“I overall liked the hotel stay I loved the staff and that it was close to stores and Interstate. I did not like how easy it was to order movies by mistake if you did not know what you were doing. I also did not like that the phones was confusing when dialing local numbers.”

“The hotel has been renovated recently. The property exceeded my expectations with regards to cleanliness, courteousness of staff, wireless internet, etc. Continental Breakfast did not have anything for low carbohydrate diets.”

• The hotel is clean and reflects quality.
• The location is safe, but near low rental apartments.

“This is a good hotel for a good value. My parents live in ES and this is a great place to stay while visiting family. I felt safe and secure and the hotel is clean which is very important to me. This part of town is safer than other parts but the hotel is near a low income apartment complex which raised some concern, but nothing eventful happened. I already booked another stay in this same hotel, so I am that pleased!”

• The room is very clean and comfortable and hotel staff is very kind and helpful.
• The breakfast is not very good as I expected.

“As a leisure traveler, I really like this hotel. The room is very clean and comfortable for stay. It's not like a 2 star scale hotel. Its room and service should be a 3 star upscale hotel. Mostly I love this hotel very much. I stayed there for 2 nights and felt very comfortable. I will choose this hotel again in the future. Also I will recommend this hotel to my friends as well. Very good experience there.”

“Comfortable rooms including bed and down pillows, handy located from Inner Harbor, freshly painted hotel and rooms. Plenty of free parking. I was happy with this hotel at a reasonable rate compared with the expensive hotels in the Inner Harbor.”

• Wood flooring in room.
• Checked in at 1:30 a.m. after a long day and clerk did not have our reservation.

“It was okay. At 1:30 a.m., the front lobby was more like an amusement park. There were young kids playing games on the computer. I guess they were wedding guests? The clerk could not find out reservation for 20 minutes (literally). But he apologized for the delay. Could've happened to anyone, but it was unfortunate that it happened at 1:30 a.m.”

• It's much more fixed up than it used to be.
• No problems.

“We've stayed in this hotel a few times under different ownerships. This version (Fairfield) is by far the cleanest and most efficient. It's not luxurious or fancy, but it's clean and well-run.”

• Staff was "set in its ways".

“We arrived as a family, but received a king size bed. In the past, we've never had a "problem" switching to two double beds. This time we were charged extra to change bed size. Spent about 1/2 an hour at the front desk checking in due to this situation. ”

• The continental breakfast was comprehensive, the staff was mostly made up of great people.
• One staffer was hostile to me, in stark contrast to other staff.

“The location, out in the middle of nowhere, was incredibly inconvenient and strange. One had to run across a freeway with no stop signs to get to the strip mall across the street.”

• I like the location right off the beltway and near so many stores and restaurants.
• My room did not have any ash trays in a smoking room and the bathroom shower water in the tub would not go down in room 407.

“This hotel is a very nice and clean place to stay. I have stayed here about five or six times. The staff is friendly and very helpful for all my needs. If there is a problem the staff is there to correct it for you.”

“The hotel was very conveniently located between two major federal highways in Baltimore. The hotel was located near a strip mall with several choices of restaurants. Very convenient for anyone traveling north or south on I-95 needing a place to stay.”

• Hard to locate entrance, poor signage, location far from White marsh Mall.

“Generally a satisfactory place to stay, a cut above basic, with a friendly staff, this hotel is a good place to stay if you need to be toward the northeast of Baltimore City. Too far from the Inner Harbor and tourist areas to make it a good fit for those who wished to visit those areas. And very difficult to get to requires a U-turn on a busy highway, a good guess to enter an office building parking lot and a keen sense of direction to navigate through the lot to the hotel lot.”

• The location was convenient.
• The guest computer did not work, elevator was not clean.

“The lobby reeked of the smell of fish (possibly due to the use of the microwave by guests), the elevator was not clean and the guest services representative functioned as both the check-in operator and custodian. The hotel is good especially if you just need somewhere just to sleep, shower and go. I would not recommend it as a place to stay for a vacation or for a romantic evening. ”

• I'm sorry but I was there for only a few hours, enough time to shower and take a nap.
• I didn't like the towels and wash cloths. I thought they were to small and thin and a little dingy.

“Like I said I was there for a short time and really didn't get a feel for the place. I did really like the fact it was right off the interstate, so it was easy to find.”

• The staff was friendly and courteous.
• The room had ants in it and I called the front desk two and nothing was done about it.

“The hotel was great it was just I had to call the front desk twice about the ant problem and nothing was done about the problem and we weren't moved.”
