• Wood flooring in room.
• Checked in at 1:30 a.m. after a long day and clerk did not have our reservation.

“It was okay. At 1:30 a.m., the front lobby was more like an amusement park. There were young kids playing games on the computer. I guess they were wedding guests? The clerk could not find out reservation for 20 minutes (literally). But he apologized for the delay. Could've happened to anyone, but it was unfortunate that it happened at 1:30 a.m.”

• Rooms were attractive and comfortable and staff was very helpful.
• Entrance to hotel is thru parking lot of other commercial property.

“The rooms are attractive and comfortable. The breakfast available in the morning is very convenient. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to business travelers.”

“We did expect to find accommodation's of at least 2 queen beds and prefer a king. Witnessed the desk clerk taking walk-ins. I short I would not stay at this hotel again.”

• It's much more fixed up than it used to be.
• No problems.

“We've stayed in this hotel a few times under different ownerships. This version (Fairfield) is by far the cleanest and most efficient. It's not luxurious or fancy, but it's clean and well-run.”

• Easy on/off access to 695.
• Staff was "set in its ways".

“We arrived as a family, but received a king size bed. In the past, we've never had a "problem" switching to two double beds. This time we were charged extra to change bed size. Spent about 1/2 an hour at the front desk checking in due to this situation. ”

• The continental breakfast was comprehensive, the staff was mostly made up of great people.
• One staffer was hostile to me, in stark contrast to other staff.

“The location, out in the middle of nowhere, was incredibly inconvenient and strange. One had to run across a freeway with no stop signs to get to the strip mall across the street.”

• I like the location right off the beltway and near so many stores and restaurants.
• My room did not have any ash trays in a smoking room and the bathroom shower water in the tub would not go down in room 407.

“This hotel is a very nice and clean place to stay. I have stayed here about five or six times. The staff is friendly and very helpful for all my needs. If there is a problem the staff is there to correct it for you.”

• Entrance was a little hard to get into.

“The hotel was very conveniently located between two major federal highways in Baltimore. The hotel was located near a strip mall with several choices of restaurants. Very convenient for anyone traveling north or south on I-95 needing a place to stay.”

• Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, good breakfast, clean spacious room.
• Hard to locate entrance, poor signage, location far from White marsh Mall.

“Generally a satisfactory place to stay, a cut above basic, with a friendly staff, this hotel is a good place to stay if you need to be toward the northeast of Baltimore City. Too far from the Inner Harbor and tourist areas to make it a good fit for those who wished to visit those areas. And very difficult to get to requires a U-turn on a busy highway, a good guess to enter an office building parking lot and a keen sense of direction to navigate through the lot to the hotel lot.”

• The location was convenient.
• The guest computer did not work, elevator was not clean.

“The lobby reeked of the smell of fish (possibly due to the use of the microwave by guests), the elevator was not clean and the guest services representative functioned as both the check-in operator and custodian. The hotel is good especially if you just need somewhere just to sleep, shower and go. I would not recommend it as a place to stay for a vacation or for a romantic evening. ”

• Quiet, clean, convenient to restaurants, stores and highway.
• Could not find anything wrong.

• Motel was hard to find. Entrance marked only with small unlit signs.

• I'm sorry but I was there for only a few hours, enough time to shower and take a nap.
• I didn't like the towels and wash cloths. I thought they were to small and thin and a little dingy.

“Like I said I was there for a short time and really didn't get a feel for the place. I did really like the fact it was right off the interstate, so it was easy to find.”

• The staff was friendly and courteous.
• The room had ants in it and I called the front desk two and nothing was done about it.

“The hotel was great it was just I had to call the front desk twice about the ant problem and nothing was done about the problem and we weren't moved.”

• It's so close to 95! I enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts, too!
• I don't like the fact that it does not have a public whirlpool like most Marriott's do.

• Average hotel but the amazingly friendly staff made it a memorable stay.
• Non-smoking room had slight smoky odor.

“Friends were concerned about the location of this hotel for safety but I felt very comfortable and had no issues. The hotel is being renovated and has a new feeling. The staff (desk and maintenance) were above and beyond" helpful and very friendly. If I'm back in the area, I would probably chose this hotel again over the other, more expensive ones in the White Marsh area."”

• For the price this is a terrific hotel - GREAT STAFF, friendliest i've ever encountered
• Tough location that is isolated and somewhat near public housing. Was concerned about leaving car in parking lot.

“This is a good economy hotel from marriott. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful i've ever encountered anywhere. There is a terrific (free) breakfast buffet that includes practically anything you could want (except eggs). The only drawback is the location in the middle of nowhere, but you can't have everything!”

“The hotel is located less than 5 minutes from I-95. Across the street you will find a Wal-Mart, fast food rest. and other shopping stores for your convenience. The hotel itself was very clean, the room was nicely decorated and the layout of the furniture well thought. The following things were offered at no extra charge: local calls, internet service and continental breakfast. I paid $35 when the going rate is about $70-$90 for a double room in this area.”
