• I was with my 3 very young children. They had a crib, and sheets for the sleeper sofa. GREAT!

• Great bed.
• No hot water 2nd day I was there. I called front desk they told me to let it run which I did for 30 minutes still no hot water. They offered to move me.

“Room was great, clean, quite, bed was comfortable I slept well. Next day there was no hot water. I called the front desk and was told to let it run. I wound up taking a cold shower.”

• Cookies were nice and it was great to have true queen beds.
• Mold in the showers, towels were worn, shower head could not be adjusted, there was no coffee in the decanters on Sunday at 8:30 am.

“Typical Marriott Courtyard. Very nice. The only disappointment was with mold growing in the corner in the showers. Easily could have been cleaned with a little bleach. Room towels were old and worn. No one was refilling the coffee decanters on Sunday morning. Rooms were spacious and queen beds were very nice.”

“I was very pleased with my stay. As is typical with Marriott courtyards, the hotel and rooms were clean, pleasant smelling, quiet and comfortable. I arrived late so my family didnt get to try the indoor pool and Jacuzzi but they looked clean and inviting. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.”

“We enjoyed our two night stay at this property. The rooms were spacious and clean with a very attentive staff. Friendly staff with a positive attitude. I do feel that the hotel should include breakfast in the room rate.”

• The staff really bent over backwards to do all they could to assist in any way they could.

“Courtyard by Marriott Annapolis, MD is in a beautiful location and is conveniently located near many local attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are attractive, clean, and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Annapolis.”

• Very clean.
• Lock out of our room 2 nights in a row keys did not work. Very upset to have to put our stuff on dirty sidewalk to side door.

“Upset with desk as they were excused for the first key lock-out, second one was unacceptable tried to blame me. I have traveled with keys for many years. I called customer service and the rep. Was not buying the desk clerks "made-up tale" either. We were offered free breakfast-declined. This up-scale motel does not offer free anything breakfast 9.95 each for the buffet they offer. Something wrong with that picture?”

• The beds were wonderful.
• No carts for luggage and key didn't work very well in outside door.

“It was a pleasure staying there with the couple of things that either were not available although we were told they were and the key not working very well in the outside door to get in when I was trying to take in luggage.”

• The location if the hotel.
• The hotel pool was used as swim club with a lot of young children really not being supervised.

“The price was excellent for the location. But the pool being used as club and the noise in the morning from the staff gathering outside of my room #170 was very upsetting that it woke my children up daily.”

• I liked the Springhill suites better.

“Good hotel. However, the Springhill suites have better rooms, pool, and free breakfast but are only a two star. This hotel is a 2.5 star, but I prefer the Springhill suites.”

“Hotel was great. At first I was given a room near the elevator and ice machine. I asked to be moved and was. A wedding party was in the hotel the night I was there and by 2:30, when I still could not sleep because of the noise, I contacted hotel management.”

• The lobby common area was cozy and inviting. The fireplace, TV, comfortable seating, cookies and coffee were great!
• No continental breakfast, gym & pool were under construction, the elevator ran really slow.

“The staff of the Marriott was wonderful, helpful, and accommodating. The room was neat, clean, convenient for internet use, and had a really comfortable bed. I appreciated the coffee pot in the room but also enjoyed the coffee station in the lobby that was available at all hours. I think that once the construction is complete, this hotel will move up a star or two.”

• Overall hotel was fine and experience was fine.
• Not a tobacco free room - the smell of cigarettes was pervasive even using the air conditioner.

“Hotel was fine, room was fine but it was a SMOKING room and it smelled like tobacco. My clothes, the pillow my son brought, all smelled when we went home after one night. ”

• Bed was very comfortable & room was nicely presented.
• There was no mention of the fee attached to the breakfast buffet when we sat down. We were not informed of the fee till the end of the meal.

“While our overall visit & the hotel were above average, we were given a smoking room, saying that it was only room available to us. (It was apparent that there were numerous rooms available.) They did offer to spray the room but I find Febreeze spray used by hotels is offensive to me.”

• Extremely well appointed rooms, very neat and clean.
• Offers Breakfast Buffet, but not a free continental breakfast like many other hotels.

“Very nice property in good location. Nice lobby, could get expensive for families due to cost of Buffet Breakfast rather than a free continental breakfast as offered in many other hotels. I also noted that the business center in this hotel costs money to use. Some other hotels that cater to business travelers offer a business center as a free service.”

• I asked for a non smoking and received a smoking room and the staff promised to spray the room but fail to do so after 2 requests.

“Hotel quiet and staff friendly. I asked for a non smoking and wasn't able to be accommodated. Hotel not as family friendly as the other Marriott hotels. Mainly for business travelers.”

• The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and they provided us with whatever we needed for our stay.
• For some reason it took a long time before they could find a non-smoking room with a king bed. Also, the in-room movies were $10!

“This is a great hotel for both business and leisure travelers. It was clean and comfortable and provided great amenities (e.g., refrigerator, microwave, 24-hour convenience store next door, gas station). We had our 9-month old twins with us and had no problems keeping them comfortable.”

• I liked the easy access from the interstate and the cleanliness of the room and the quietness.
• We were given to understand that we would receive a full complimentary breakfast, but we were charged $18.95 for it!

“Adequate accommodations with niceties such as in-room coffee, pillow-top mattresses, downy pillows and comforter, and internet access. Unfortunately, we were not able to get our laptop to work, probably our inadequacy rather than the hotel's, but the instructions for connecting to the web were cumbersome and time-consuming. As we were not desperate to get access, we did not spend the time trying too hard. Bathroom is small and dim. Shower curtain had some mildew. Breakfast buffet was great and was priced at $7.95. However, for a little less elaborate breakfast at similarly priced hotels, breakfast bar is included. Access to parking lot was easy, and we were able to park our car just outside our room. Lot is well-lit and access is by keyless entry to side door, although when we entered in the afternoon, the door was unlocked. For the $75.00 plus tax per night that we spent, it was a relatively good value for the close proximity to Washington, DC, but at the "usual" cost of $188 per night we would have taken a pass.”

• long corridors which do not compliment, several trips a day.

“Exceptional when compared to some 3 star motels/hotels within the same area. There are several eatery, entertainment, transportation &day trip options within short walking or driving distance. Each unit has the semblance of condo living when one looks at through the exterior glass. Very upscale business center adds value too.”

• Need to provide better (softer) Towels. The towels were kind of rough.
