• Terrific room with nice small amenities like a fridge and microwave.
• Parking is a $13.25 fee per 24 hours, can not charge it to the room.

“My wife and I were wonderfully surprised when we walked into our room for the overnight we planned in Baltimore. The room was spacious and well laid out. It even included a small refrigerator and microwave. It is conveniently located just a few minutes walk to the inner-harbor area, so getting downtown was easy (only 1.5 miles to Camden Yards). The hotel also partnered with a couple local restaurants for delivery of food directly to your room. Although parking was not included in the overnight ($13.25 for a 24 hr period), it was connected to the hotel. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• The location was great. There was a Whole Foods adjacent and the Inner Harbor was a short 15 minute walk.
• Paying to park ($19.00/day).

“This hotel was very accommodating with room size and needs. Staff was very friendly. Pool did close early on weekend nights (10:00). Lobby was very nicely decorated.”

• The hotel was in walking distance to many attractions and the staff was friendly and helpful.
• The construction outside was a minor problem.

• The rooms were small.

“Hotel is proximate to Camden yards and the inner harbor. Hotel was clean. Beds were very comfortable but the rooms were small for a 3 star hotel. Upgrade to lead/plasma needed as most 3 and 4 star hotels have them.”

• Contemporary design is very nice, which makes my stay really comforting.
• I was not told that breakfast was not complimentary, hence I had additional expenses.

“I am a graduate student traveler, and this hotel is one short taxi ride away from the university of Maryland Baltimore. The hotel is located really close to little Italy. I am not a bar person, but I guess it would be helpful for those who like to go out, eat and drink. The inner harbor is just a short walk. Overall, this hotel is very nice.”

• The friendliness of the staff. Very attentive and helpful.
• The parking garage attendants. Rude. Not owned by hotel.

“This was a great hotel and I would stay there again. The parking garage is not owned by the hotel, and the hotel staff agreed, that the attendants did not have good customer service. The hotel gave us a card to swipe for free parking. When we presented it to the parking attendant, he said we could not use it that we had to pay $27. He was very rude and made the 5 cars behind us back up so that we could drive back up to the hotel to get our ticket validated since the swipe machine was broke. The hotel staff said he could have just called them to verify instead of making us go through all of that. He was the rudest man, and we told him that we had a flight to catch could he please just call the hotel to verify the free parking and he would not. He just yelled at us, which most of it we did not understand and kept pointing for all of the cars to back up.”

• I think that it was right in downtown/inner harbor.
• That you pay 20.00 to park your car! Disappointed that staff wasn't friendlier!

• No lunch or dinner, limited pool hours and weak gym.

“I met at first blush a very friendly staff member who had acting experiences in common with my daughter that was a good way to start the experience. Buffet breakfast was great although I ate way too much, highlighted by creamed chipped beef on an English muffin and corned beef hash on toasted rye. Fresh strawberries, melon, pineapple were treats, also.”

• The people were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
• It was a little further away from the convention center than I would have liked.

“This is a very nice hotel for the business traveler. I didn't feel like I was paying for a lot of extras that the business traveler doesn't usually need. It's newly and nicely redecorated, with a computer area, small bar area, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. They have a restaurant with a buffet if you are in a hurry. The restaurant is only open for breakfast, but there are many nearby places to get a great dinner. It is a little far away if your business is at the convention center, but there always seemed to be cabs available in front to take you where you need to go.”

No parking, you have to pay a high rate at a parking garage unless you park your vehicle and leave it all day/night. Convention center and Camden yards are within a 30 minute brisk walk. No shuttle service available for business travelers with events at the convention center.”

• Some machine (a/c?) Hummed loudly all night.

• Amazingly fast, easy and efficient check-in.
• Construction right next door, very noisy in the morning.

“While it was a small hotel, it was in a good location very close to little Italy in Baltimore's inner harbor. The staff was very professional and efficient, and the room was small but comfortable. Construction across the street started early in the morning on Monday, but it was otherwise quiet on the weekend. A great find for the inner harbor. I would definitely look to stay there again when looking for a budget-friendly place.”

• I really liked the convenience to the harbor and the overall performance of the hotel staff. They had excellent service and were a great help for me.
• There was nothing that I didn't like about the hotel.

“The hotel was located in a pretty good location in the inner harbor of Baltimore. Although the view wasn't that great, the hotel made up for it in convenience, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, helpful with directions, and provided us with a suggestion of a great place to go to after dinner. Overall, it was much nicer and much more than I expected from a 2.5 star hotel.”

• I did not get to stay there.

“When I arrived at the hotel to check in, I was told that there was no room for me available because they had over-booked the hotel for the night. As a result, they sent me to the Hyatt on the other side of the Inner Harbor. Their policy of overbooking rooms and then sending customers elsewhere is atrocious, even though they sent me to a nicer hotel. I just wanted to get some sleep before a long day the next day, but could not do so because of this inconvenience.”

“This is one of the best hotels ever gotten. I was shocked that it only rated a two and a half star. Its amenities were plenty the size of the room huge. It was clean with the most eager staff I have ever seen. The walking distance to harbor is perfect.”

• We were greeted and treated like apart of the courtyard family by Antonio and Erma & the rest of the staff.
• We recommend the Disney channel.

“Reading previous revues of The Courtyard Marriott we were apprehensive. Upon arrival we were greeted like welcomed family members not guests. With other family staying in two different hotels and comparing even with previous hotel visits this hotel was Magnificent. Antonio was a wonderful host of whom I cant speak enough of. Work with the public myself as a manager with a large corp. I know good service when I get it. *****COURTYARD HOTEL BALT.MD”

• Pool did not open until 5:00 pm and parking was an additional $19.

“Hotel is very nice and located within walking distance of major Baltimore attractions. Terrific value for the money, but we did have to pay $19 for parking which really added to cost of room. On the other hand, we could leave the car at hotel for 24 hours, walk to attractions and not have to pay for additional parking - maybe that all evens out. Our kids had hoped to make use of pool, but it did not open until 5:00 pm.”

• Friendly accommodating service, excellent location, most comfortable bed ever!
• There was awful construction right outside my window making it impossible to sleep past 6am. Made the room available so affordable, my guess.

“The hotel was perfectly located next to Fell's Point, The National Aquarium, and Little Italy. I never needed a car during my stay, and I even walked to Camden and caught a Orioles game. The Whole Foods Market and attached garage were also very convenient. The construction was the only drawback, so I would research whether or not the construction is completed before booking a room here. (If you plan on sleeping past 6am!)”

• The hotel was too far of a walk from the inner harbor for travelers with kids. A shuttle would be nice considering the $19 parking.

“The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent with the fresh fruit and made to order waffles. The servers were very friendly. For the $19 parking, it would have been nice if there was a shuttle to drop people off at the inner harbor. The hotel was too far of a walk from the inner harbor, especially for travelers with small children.”

• The location was good for four first time there, nice staff.
• Having to pay for parking 20.00 per day to stay at your establishment.

“Location was good. Staff was nice and friendly, not notified of loud construction going on across the street at 6 A.M. TV. remote control was not working. Walls were thin, could here the TV on next door. Actually heard someone snoring over their TV through our walls. Having to pay $20.00 to park, (per night) to stay at their establishment was a little over the top.”

“Not a bad location, in the newer undeveloped part of inner harbor. Better in the summer, when the walk along the harbor is beautiful. Hotel itself is nice, not too many luxuries, but clean, friendly and more than adequate.”

“The hotel is very clean, organized and well run. The breakfast is not included and is also quite comprehensive and well done, the la carte breakfast is good too and not too pricey. I did not eat any other meals. The location is quite nice, although it is20 minute walk from convention center so keep that in mind. The walk is pleasant and safe, however. The only problem was (1)construction right next door so noise started at 7AM, no problem for me as I was there for business and (2) the wireless in the hotel didn't work for 3 days, it was free however. On the whole, a nice place and does the job. And clean.”
