• The location and amenities were great.
• Didn't have a refrigerator.

“The hotel was nice, but I'm not sure how it was different from a 3 star (it was a 3 1/2). The amenities were nice, and the staff helpful. I would definitely stay there again.”

• Well worth the price. The location is connected by an outdoor walkway to a shopping mall and this is convenient, if weather allows.

“My husband got on the phone to book a room from our cell phone and the person behind the desk told him that he would have a room available in 15 minutes for immediate check in! We just went elsewhere and returned between 1:00 and 2:00pm and were then able to get into our room. It would have been nice if we could have relaxed right after we arrived. We definitely felt like a second class citizen.”

• Free parking and proximity to shopping mall.
• The walls are quite thin and you can hear someone sneezing or coughing in the next room.

“These are large rooms with great beds. The hotel is attached by a skywalk to the Towson Town Center, an upscale mall. Plenty of free parking.”

• Nothing.
• Tub was clogged, crumbs on the floor, door handle opened up.

“We've been here before, generally with good results, this time the place was not near expectations, especially for the price, which is the most we've ever paid for this hotel. The door handle was installed upside down, but I had to go back to the desk to be told, when I did open the door I banged my knuckle, there were crumbs on the floor from a previous guest and the tub drained very slowly, it's nice to stand in dirty water while showering. When checking out I told the desk person, but it appeared he was disinterested.”

• I liked the overall facility and the room itself -- clean and refreshing.
• Twice I called the front desk about the internet in my room; it never worked properly.

“I really liked the room itself and the hotel as a whole including the location. However, when I called the front desk about the computer, they were not helpful. They forwarded me to a computer service where I was put on hold for more than 30 minutes and finally gave up. This happened twice so I was never able to connect in my room. I did use the lobby links for a short period of time and was able to print out which was nice. I called the front desk about the ice machine putting out brown and pick ice which also had other debris in it. They said it was being worked on, but it never worked for the two days I stayed there. Everything else worked well.”

• Beautiful room, well equipped, clean.
• The breakfast was too expensive.

“The rooms in this hotel were well furnished, well lit and spacious. There was ample storage, a beautiful bathroom, and everything seemed new. It was clean and comfortable and well lit. Breakfast is not included with the room, and while we ate in the hotel's restaurant, we would not do so again as we found the restaurant to be nothing special, and way too expensive. The staff however was helpful and friendly.”

• Next to Goucher College.
• Hotel housed across players for big game who were noisy.

“Great hotel, clean, spacious rooms (mine had view of the mall/downtown Boson. I've stayed here before where there was a view of the Goucher College's campus which is more serene). Nice bar (restaurants looked nice but didn't dine there). Garage parking is free.”

• Friendly staff and very clean.
• Difficulty finding the entrance.

“My overall experience was excellent. Clean room and friendly staff. There was no fridge so we could not keep leftovers cold. The ice watching wasn't working so we had to walk down two floors to get ice. Besides that we had a great time and we will go again.”

• Staff was very attentive 24/7.

“This hotel was exceptional. The staff was polite and there to serve the guests 24/7. The entire facility was well maintained and clean. I have nothing to complain about. We ordered room service and the prices were no more expensive then if we were to dine out. The beds were very comfortable. Great place and I will return. The hotel has everything, restaurant, lounge, gift shop, etc.”

“This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel. The first time I was
in a room on a upper level floor. It was a nice, clean spacious room. This time I was in a room on the third floor. It was terrible. Dirty, small and the floor was ice cold.”

• New attractive renovations with easy access to highway and comfortable rooms.
• The lack of a connection from the parking garage to the hotel.

“I am impressed with the obvious strides this hotel has made to upgrade appearances and improve the service in the dining area. It has recently become a non-smoking hotel which is always a plus. These features and it's proximity to highways and shopping make it an attractive option for business and liesure travelers.”

• Liked the buffet.
• Water in the shower didn't get hot.

“We stayed one night at the Sheraton and it was one of the best hotels we have stayed in a long time. The staff was especially helpful and friendly. The food at the Rain restaurant was delicious and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The bed was so comfortable and the room was beautiful. One of the best features of this hotel is the skywalk to the Town Shopping Center. You have direct access to the mall. Great location!”

“Hotel is very clean and close to local attractions. Although the breakfast is not included, it is not worth eating anyhow. There are close diners that serve better food. The rooms are well kept and beds are extremely comfortable.”

“Door between adjoining room not sufficient to keep noise out. Very easy to hear normal conversations through flimsy door. Probably most disappointing experience.”

“Our stay was not very good even though the hotel was very good, At night there was no hot water and when I called the front disk said that the burner was broken and they need to replace, I asked if we could move to a different room and she said the burner feeds the whole hotel, which is hard to believe, since the hotel is huge and one burner will be a design mistake.”

• One of the beds was in very poor shape, almost collapsed.

“This hotel is undergoing serious renovation on the outside and access to the lobby is a bit roundabout. The pool was closed during our stay. The rooms were quite lovely but one of the two beds in the room should have been replaced long ago.”

“This hotel was conveniently located for our visit to Towson University. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was sufficient and the hotel was clean and very nice. Our room was large and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine. Would definitely stay there again.”

• Attractive courtyard to drive into. Attractive, but small room. Great towels.
• Carpet need cleaning, room. Tub had drip. Sheets were not soft.

“After leaving our phone chargers behind, still plugged into the wall, the staff claimed "they weren't on the cart". This means, the cleaning staff said they weren't there. So now because of someone's dishonesty, we need to buy new chargers.”

• I liked the bed; it was very soft and comfortable.
• I did not like that I could hear everything in rooms around me from the large vents.

“I wish I could say I enjoyed my stay. However the first five minutes there, I saw roaches in my room. The pool had trash and Band-Aids floating in it. There was noise until 4am of people running up and down the halls. Food was left sitting out in the hallways until almost noon the next day. I was very disappointed.”

“I was extremely pleased with this hotel. It was listed as a 3 star, with only one other 3 star in the immediate area. I am familiar with the other hotel and this Sheraton far exceeds its competition. I would recommend this to business as well as leisure travelers.”

• HVAC system did not respond as expected.

“Rare when the heating/cooling system works as needed. This hotel was no better nor worse than others, but from a designated three star hotel I expected better results. Room was too hot and difficult to obtain a comfortable sleeping temperature.”

• Power outage, un informed staff, roaches at breakfast, free breakfast cost me 25 bucks.

“Arrived Sunday afternoon to be told my reservations were cancelled (I called 2 weeks before to confirm). Desk clerks made a big deal that reservation. Was cancelled. Later that night they lost all electricity in the hotel. Had to evacuate. I had to call my wife on my cell phone to tell her and she informed others on our floor. We were in the lobby for 2 1/2 hours not one announcement was made to inform guests of what was happening or if/when we could return to our rooms. We found out by word of mouth passing around from guest to guest that we could go back to our room by the stairs- as there was still no electricity.”

• It was very clean and the room was excellent.
• Charge of two dollars for a bottle of water.

“If the hotel would give the water as complimentary then the guest would like it much more instead of charging two dollars for water when you can go across the street and get the same water for a buck.”
