• Very nice facility in the hot restaurant side of town.
• Did not get the offered and accepted Wallstreet Journal delivered either day of my stay.

“Very nice hotel with nice staff. The rooms are very clean, flat screen TV, and a comfortable bedding. Annoying that in this day of WiFi, guests have to pay for internet access.”

“We loved our stay in this hotel. Very courteous staff. The rooms were clean and a good size. Within walking distance to many local attractions. We had a BEAUTIFUL view of the Baltimore harbor from our room. We are 100% satisfied.”

• Very nice hotel in an excellent location to enjoy Baltimore Inner Harbor attractions.
• The parking was much too expensive ($25/day) and WiFi was not free ($13/day).

“The Marriott Inner Harbor was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very friendly and helpful staff. Housekeeping added some thoughtful touches that were nice, too. The view from our room was beautiful, though the large lit sign of an adjacent high rise forced us to close the blinds at night. Four days of parking cost us $100 and we were surprised that wi-fi was not included. Overall it was a good experience.”

• Excellent staff and took care of any need that we had very quickly.

“I honestly loved this hotel. We had an absolutely gorgeous view from our room. The food we ordered from room service was excellent, hot and on time. The overall atmosphere was wonderful from the time you walk into the beautiful lobby til you get to your room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.”

• Location, cleanliness, attractiveness and well staffed.
• The cable TV did not work. We asked for help, but it was unsuccessful, so we just didn't use it.

• Beautiful place,great location by water taxi

“Beautiful hotel, very comfortable. Great location in the middle of the waterfront amenities. Across the street from a nice movie theater. Area has multiple security agents on the corners so that you feel comfortable walking around at night. It is great that the water taxi stops just steps away from the hotel entrance. Numerous nice restaurants just steps away.”

• The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff was attentive and pleasant.
• There was no refrigerator in our room!

“Great place to stay. Very clean and well appointed spaces. Breakfast was a bit pricey in the restaurant, but not a complaint. I would stay here again.”

• They could not supply a type of cable we wanted but that is nit picking.
  Also the parking was expensive.

• We were so pleased to have such a great view!
• I had a hard time believing that the hotel charged for in room internet service. $12.95 is pretty steep when most offer it for free.

• The location and view were great.
• Upgrade of $20/day for better view and did not include parking which was done off-site.

“Great location and view. The cost of parking was not included and can park cheaper off site. Construction is going on next door and some roads are blocked off. The concierge room on the 31st floor was very nice but was only open Thursday night and closed Friday and Saturday night. We were given gratis entry Thursday with our $20/day room upgrade. If I was traveling alone without my wife I probably wouldn't have taken the upgrade. The room and facilities were very well-kept and clean and the maid service was excellent.”

• The friendliest staff I have ever experienced.
• Nearby construction.

“This hotel stay was excellent. The staff could not have been friendlier, from the front desk to the maid service. Everyone was very helpful. The room was clean with excellent amenities. I stay in hotels several times a month and this was one of the best stays I've had. I would definitely stay here again.”

• Parking is expensive. $25 per day in a parking garage.

“In addition to the king size bed upgrade, the front desk gave us a room on the 29th floor with a wonderful view of Inner Harbor. Easy walk to Inner Harbor from the hotel.”

• Clean and spacious room. I also liked the little deli in the lobby.
• Valet parking was a bit on the expensive side -- $38.00 per night.

we had a spectacular view overlooking the inner harbor. Very comfortable and clean. A map, or overall layout of the city would have been helpful (one that pinpoints restaurants, nightlife, and points of interest).”

• The view of the inner harbor was breath-taking. Great brunch.
• There was only on stall in the lobby bathroom. Inconvenient to use after breakfast with a party of 4 guys.

“Upon arrival, the Valets were friendly and informative. The entire stay was comfortable, with great service and a great environment. A comfortable room with an incredible view capped off a wonderful weekend.”

• Location.
• Very thin walls, guest next door woke up at 5 a.m. on a Sunday. Yes, so did we.

“Great location, terrific amenities, but horrible interior sound-proofing. My wife and I heard all noises from the guest next door. The neighbor's shower at 5 am Sunday morning sounded like a freight train passing by our front door. If I ever stay at this hotel again, I will bring earplugs.”

• Looks over the inner harbor, clean, quiet, close to everything in Baltimore.
• TV did not work all of the time, cleaning knocked on door around 9 am and pay for parking.

“Great room and location. Could see the harbor and both Stadiums from our room. A few minute walk and we were at Harbor Place, Power Plant and many restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Concierge had stepped away but an employee from hotel security was nearby and assisted with locating an address for a restaurant and even called and made reservation. Great experience will go back and do recommend. Only draw back was paying $21 to self park ($36 for valet), but I think most hotels in that area charge similar rates for parking.

“The stay was fine. Hotel staff was friendly. I was aggravated that we had to pay for internet service - we've stayed at lower quality hotels that provided free wireless internet. Also, if we had not read the fine print (on the key envelope) we would have been charged for the USA Today that was placed at our door in the a.m.”

• The hotel is absolutely beautiful and exceeded my expectations.
• Small pool for the size of the hotel.

“This is a first class hotel. The cleanliness was superb, the comfort level of the room superior, and the view of the harbor and the city outstanding. The hotel is situated nicely between the Harbor front and Fellis Point, convenient to a variety of shops, restaurants and special activities. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

• Location is perfect! Right in front of the harbor and little Italy. Walking distance from Fell's Point.
• Construction is going on right in front of the hotel.

• They charged $9.95 for internet access in the room.

“The hotel is in a great location in the inner harbor. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance of the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean and they sent a mini-fridge up to the room at no additional charge so we could keep drinks cold for our excursions. The only negative is that they charge $9.95 for internet connection.”

• Service forgot to clean room.

“The Marriott Baltimore Waterfront is a very upscale hotel. We traveled with an infant and the staff was accommodating. But the cleaning service did not attempt to clean the room until 3:30, which our baby was taking a nap. We asked for them to come back at 4:30 when we left for dinner. We arrived back at the room at 10:30 to find it not serviced, and it was too late at that point to bother. The hotel desk upon check out was sympathetic and offered a $30 voucher but could only be used in the hotel and not for parking.”

• Good location close to shopping and attractions (aquarium).
• The construction happening next door was consistently loud; parking for guests could be lower.

“This is a very well-placed property on the Inner Harbor; close to Fell's Point businesses as well. The front desk staff was just so-so, but nice enough. The parking garage, while just next door, is a little high in price for hotel guests, in my opinion. Also, the concierge desk was a bit hard to find. I would stay here again.”
