“The stay was fine. Hotel staff was friendly. I was aggravated that we had to pay for internet service - we've stayed at lower quality hotels that provided free wireless internet. Also, if we had not read the fine print (on the key envelope) we would have been charged for the USA Today that was placed at our door in the a.m.”

- The hotel is absolutely beautiful and exceeded my expectations.
- Small pool for the size of the hotel.

The hotel is situated nicely between the Harbor front and Fellis Point, convenient to a variety of shops, restaurants and special activities. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

- Location was terrific.
- They charged $9.95 for internet access in the room.
“The hotel is in a great location in the inner harbor. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance of the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean and they sent a mini-fridge up to the room at no additional charge so we could keep drinks cold for our excursions. The only negative is that they charge $9.95 for internet connection.”

- It is upscale and great location.
- Service forgot to clean room.
“The Marriott Baltimore Waterfront is a very upscale hotel. We traveled with an infant and the staff was accommodating. But the cleaning service did not attempt to clean the room until 3:30, which our baby was taking a nap. We asked for them to come back at 4:30 when we left for dinner. We arrived back at the room at 10:30 to find it not serviced, and it was too late at that point to bother. The hotel desk upon check out was sympathetic and offered a $30 voucher but could only be used in the hotel and not for parking.”

- The construction happening next door was consistently loud; parking for guests could be lower.
“This is a very well-placed property on the Inner Harbor; close to Fell's Point businesses as well. The front desk staff was just so-so, but nice enough. The parking garage, while just next door, is a little high in price for hotel guests, in my opinion. Also, the concierge desk was a bit hard to find. I would stay here again.”

- I found the staff at check in rude, A smile and at least a pretense that one enjoys there job goes a long way.

- It was beautifully located in downtown Baltimore with a marvelous view of the Inner Harbor.
- Virtually everything cost extra, the television had a charge for everything. Not good!
“My wife and I were gracefully cared for by the hotel staff and allowed an upgrade to a very attractive room. The hotel has a beautiful view of the Inner Harbor so the hotel is beautiful both inside and out. All the hotel staff was ready and willing to help.”

- The hotel staff was all very friendly - valet, front desk, concierge etc.
- I thought the parking of $36 was excessive.
“I toured the entire hotel area and noticed that cleanliness was top notch. Restrooms were very clean and comfortable. The bar area was clean, bartenders were quick to respond and helpful with suggestions for dinner and directions. The front desk personnel were expeditious and friendly. Overall I had no concerns with the hotel or staff and would stay there again.”

- Convenient (walk able) to both Inner Harbor area and Fell's Point, good concierge service.
- Thin towels, no robe, poor response to request for repair of broken bathroom outlet.
“The Marriott Waterfront is a pretty ordinary place, its tone more geared toward business travelers/meeting attendees than tourists/leisure travelers. The room was fine, but nothing special. The bed was comfortable. The towels should be a lot plusher in a 4-star hotel, and I was disappointed that there was no terry-cloth robe. My bathroom outlet was faulty (the ground fault button kept popping out as soon as an appliance was turned on) - they came to fix it while I was out, but apparently just pushed in the button without testing it, so of course it still didn't work. I called again the next day, but no one came - I ended up drying my hair in the bedroom each day. Room service was prompt, though trays did linger in the hallways. The food was typical undistinguished, overpriced hotel fare - with so many places to eat nearby, there's really no reason to eat there. The choice of in-room movies was truly dismal.”

- Great location and view overlooking the aquarium and the inner harbor.
- Concert pavilion on next pier can be loud on weekends.
“It is a very new, clean business type hotel with parking garage attached. Its just a short walk across the footbridges to the aquarium and inner harbor. The section of town seems to be an up and coming area, with an impressive fountain monument near its front entrance. The hotel had a large common area for relaxing and using wireless internet. Small pool and sundeck were available. Concert pavilion on next pier was loud into the evening on the waterfront side, but staff gave out information ahead of time. overall, it was an excellent hotel and I am glad I found it.”

“The Marriott Baltimore Waterfront is an excellent hotel based on location to events and public transportation. Rooms are quiet and well-designed for the business traveler. An extra table or love seat would've made this room perfect for a leisure vacation.”

- Wonderful harbor view, harbor walk area and brand new carpet.
- Room without refrigerate, pool is a little bit small and water is not that clean.
“Great hotel with fantastic harbor and city view. Walking distance to aquarium. environment surround is romantic and beautiful. But pool is a little bit small and the water is not that clean. Hotel room without refrigerator. Overall is great hotel. Will stay here again.”

- Location, very clean, staff great!
- Construction was outside our window. Obstructed some of the beauty of the view. Parking and food were very expensive.
“Beautiful hotel right on the inner harbor in Baltimore. Can walk to many of the attractions. Staff was very friendly. Nice indoor pool, gym and outdoor area with a fabulous view of the inner harbor. Hotel spotless. Great location!”

- The room was spacious with a nice decor, comfortable and clean.
- With some area construction going on, not too easy to find.

- Great location.
- AC was unable to cool room-had to move to 3 different rooms.
“Great location, but I would never stay here in the summer. The AC units in the bedrooms were unable to cool the rooms and we had to switch to 3 different rooms and still not satisfied.”
