• Convenient to Harbor place. Clean, lovely and modern.
• Picture Square seating area closed at night, limited areas for our party of nine to visit with drinks and desert.

“Comfortable bedding, clean, neat and modern. Large bathroom spaces. Beautiful Harbor place view seating area should be open in the evening too. Would allow evening coffee, desert and drinks to linger in elegance. Service was wonderful.”

“Dynamic place on the Inner Harbor and close to many restaurants. The staff went out of the way to help-extremely friendly, too. The rooms were adequate for four star-great, comfy beds & large bathrooms, but not much room in the room itself. Small desk. What happened to real coffee pots? The single servings that the Marriotts have gone to-All that seems petty though--too fine a magnifying glass when our real experience was a great one: it's a lively place in a fabulous location.”

• Most of the staff was very kind and accommodating.
• I believe I was lied to by the front desk staff person.

“Over all the Hotel and staff were excellent. When we arrived I was told that was impossible no rooms face the harbor. The next morning while walking down the hall I looked through an open door to see the tall ship in the harbor. I do not appreciate being lied to.”

• Location was great.
• Probably the noisiest hotel stay I've ever had. Police cars all night long.

“The hotel was very nice and they were great hosts. The only comment I have is that it was the noisiest night of my life. I think every police car or emergency vehicle in the city went by my room that night. Couldn't get to sleep until after 3:30 a.m.”

• Loud neighbors, all night. Totally unexpected!

“If it hadn't been for the after prom party next store to us the stay would have been perfect. Very comfortable and stylish room. Good breakfast and very convenient location. I mentioned the loud party at check out and the girl at the desk barely reacted, which was disappointing.”

• Location and staff has certainly improved.
• Lobby coffee bar needs major staff improvement and earlier hours. Never open on time

“Good location. Vast improvement in hotel staff. Restaurant is strangely set up at breakfast. Lobby coffee bar opens late and is poorly staffed.”

• The room was huge with surrounding windows.
• The soda machine was malfunctioning.

“The location is excellent, a short walk to Camden Yards and multiple restaurants. The room we were given was huge with windows all-around. The only downside was the hotel's cable system, which lacked variety.”

• The location in the harbor was excellent.
• Nothing major, the pool was small, but the adjacent courtyard was pleasant.

“It was a good place to come with my 6 year old son. Very easy access to the harbor and we were able to take the water taxi to fells point which was considerably less crowded. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful - the line checking out was a bit slow, but room service was good as was checking in.”

“This hotel is fabulous! What a location and we had a room overlooking the harbor! They have the most incredibly comfortable beds and the linens were fluffy and fresh smelling. We loved our stay here!”

• Parking expensive.

“Excellent stay. Wish the pool was bigger. But the hot tub & sauna was nice. Bed in room was very comfortable. Loved the location as it is close to everything! Parking is expensive. $25 for self park per day & $37 for valet parking per day.”

“We just got back from a two night stay at this hotel. I was highly impressed. The hotel is a perfect location! Connected to the hotel is the Gallery with all types of shopping and food including a McDonalds, pizza place and Salad works. You can get to the shops and restaurants of the Inner Harbor by a skywalk. It is only 5 blocks from the Baltimore Arena making it a great location if you are going to see an event there. I have to say that every single person working there were friendly and helpful. They took the time to ask you if you needed anything or to just be polite and ask about your stay. The room was clean and fresh with the most comfortable beds. I didn't really see any wear on the room at all. The pool was also nice with a hot tub and sauna and free bottled water and granola bars. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

• No views from many rooms, Not cleaned or maintained to 4 star level.

“Perfect location and very comfortable room and really comfortable beds. Nice fixtures and stylish lobby. Decent indoor pool open 6 am to 11 pm, with helpful lifeguard. Good for kids. The biggest problem with this hotel is a dumb rectangular design. Despite an awesome location, half the rooms have a view of nothing except other rooms. Ask for an even numbered room to be on the perimeter and have a chance at a harbor or at least a city view. Also, the room wasn't completely clean (towel from past guest left in tub, small debris left around, puddles in refrigerator.) Permanent large stains in the carpet. Should be a three star hotel tops.”

• The magazine of Baltimore and the comfort of the bed.
• The bath tub seemed old and their were stains in the grout.

“On check-in there were an additional $25 in fees and parking. Overall, clean, safe, and well equipped. Location is in heart of Baltimore. One block from the Inner Harbor and one block from the Strip clubs. The hotel is sort of a big doughnut shape which is built around a large Atrium and Pool. This means that on the upper floors the room are on the perimeter of a large square with the middle open. Problem is that only one bank of elevators service the upper floors. If your room is on the side opposite the elevators, you are in for quite a hike. All in all a nice place for family, business.”

• Concierge needs refresher in area attractions.

“Other than the concierge not being helpful in suggestions, on where to take our daughter for dinner for her birthday. Everything else was awesome very clean and convent to shopping, the aquarium, and entrance from hotel to entrance to a mall.”

“The hotel was nice. Huge rooms although it takes forever to get to them as the hotel is much larger than it appears) and the front staff was very pleasant. The restaurant staff was horrible and this is not based on this experience. I have been here several times for lunch and dinner. I had stopped using the restaurants for meetings, but I figured since I was staying there, why not have dinner. Big mistake, to put it short wait staff was inattentive, rude, and forgetful.”

• Conveniently located to the inner-harbor and connected to a 4 story galleria.
• Long walk from room to elevator.

“We were in town for an All-Star Cheer leading Championship and found this hotel perfect. It is a short walk to the convention center. The hotel is attached to a 4-story Galleria and has a cross-walk to the inner-harbor. The rooms are a good size and very clean. We would stay at this hotel again!”

“Hotel stay was relaxing. Housekeeping staff were courteous. The Bell-Hop should have informed the front desk where our luggage was placed, (we had to search for our luggage).”

“I was disappointed in this five star hotel. Room was Holiday Inn standard room. We told cleaning staff to return later in the day and they never returned even though we called later in the day. This is not five star a three star at best.”

• Surprisingly kid friendly. Staff was great with my two daughters (2 yrs and 6 myths).
• Main door didn't block sound of bar hoppers returning at 2 am.

“We loved this hotel. From the moment we walked in, it looks like a nice (and sort of stuffy) hotel. But immediately the staff greeted us and began occupying my oldest daughter while I checked in. They gave her a block puzzle and had her smiling and laughing the whole time. This was our experience with the staff the whole time. The only shocker was the price of the breakfast buffet.”

“Check in with May was excellent. She friendly helpful and upbeat. The courtyard view room was nicely furnished and comfortable. An alarm clock went off in a room next to our and woke me up, after waiting a half an hour for it to be turn off I realized the room must be empty. I called the front desk and they sent a staff member to turn it off. The person that came up slammed the door going into and leaving the room. Which awoke my husband. I expressed my displeasure with the alarm clock incident and especially the staff member sent up to turn it off and the gentleman and the desk seemed unconcerned. I expect better service from a 4 star hotel.”

• The parking was expensive, and so was the music feature from the TV and for only 2 hours!

“I thought the hotel was very nice! The location to Downtown was a benefit, but one thing after another was an additional cost. The parking was $25 per night per car! The business center the music feature on the TV all additional and not cheap!”

• Put us in a room without king size bed and very far about 10 min walk from the elevator and when took shower it was very cold for the first 5 minutes.

“It was clean, well kept. The bedding was very comfortable. Shops, restaurants, and stores were close by. It was right next to the Harbor place shops. It was a bit of a walk from the elevators to the room, but not bad, an average person would not be bothered by it.”

“This hotel depicts what one would expect from a 4-star rating. I do feel that parking and internet should be included in the nightly room rate. Also, they could provide more options for breakfast. In addition, the price list for the mini-bar should be included in your welcoming package or attached to the refrigerator.”

• Great location, friendly staff and a clean & well kept hotel.
• Expensive parking and restaurant.

“The hotel has a welcoming appearance. It is well maintained and clean including the public restrooms. The maid service was better than a lot of other hotels. We required a roll-away bed and there was not much room to move around in the standard room. There are some draw backs that should not occur (in my opinion) when staying at a 4-star hotel. Parking and internet service should not be an added expense ($25/day parking & $10/day internet fee). Also, breakfast is really expensive for a traveling family ($20/adult & $10/child) and there was limited options eating elsewhere. Asked for a mini-bar price list several times and did not receive. In addition, it should not take over a week for a hotel to release funds, held for incidentals, against your CC.”

• Expensive to eat. Bad view if not looking over harbor. Service is slow.

“The service is generally slow (crib, baggage, car, etc.). Even though we paid for valet parking ($40!), someone broke into our car and did considerable damage ($3,500+) and the hotel is claiming no responsibility since they use a public parking area to park the cars. Our view (internal room) consisted of a hand rail, a roof and a dead and rotting Blue Jay (which my 2-year old found fascinating.). There was a conference on the restaurant level with a local radio station taking up the entire hallway to the restaurant. I do not recommend.”

“I would recommend this property for the location at the front door to the Baltimore Aquarium and with ten minute walk to Little Italy dinning. The rollaway was in the room at the time of our arrival making the check in hassle free.”
