• The bathroom was fabulous! The furnishings were great and the high ceilings were a bonus. The bed was awesome!
• The coffee maker was a little messy.

“This hotel is beautiful. There is a flat screen television and a phone in the restroom. The tub was deep and roomy. The shower head was adjustable. The bathroom had what looked like marble tiles, but I am not a stone expert. The bedroom area had a large flat screen television and beautiful furniture. The ceilings were high with a wall of glass opposite the bed. The parking was more than I wanted to pay, but it was in line with the area hotel's prices. My gorgeous room was a steal with priceline.”

“I had a very short stay -arrived late,went to my room, left early.The hotel met my expectations I had to pay $24.36 extra for self-parking. I didn't see the restaurants of work-out area (which was supposed to be accessible at night with my room key but wasn't).”

• Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable.
• It would have been nice to have access to a computer terminal to print my flight boarding pass.

“I have never before stayed at an Intercontinental hotel. I will definately do so again in the future. The location, price, and quality of the hotel was an excellent value. I travel extensively and it is always nice to feel "at home" when traveling.”

“This hotel was wonderful and exceeded all my expectations. The staff was friendly and very helpful with local restaurant recommendations. The hotel restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet, as well as ala carte menu options. I would definitely return to this property.”

• Clean, LCD TV in both room and bath, great location.
• They put us in a room overlooking parking garage.

“Great hotel! I didn't request a room with a view and got stuck overlooking the parking lot. Only spent one night so it wasn't a big deal. Beds are very comfortable, plush pillow top, and bar on the 2nd floor is full of ambiance. Expensive, but bar tender had a very heavy pouring hand, overall, great hotel.”

• The room was exceptionally comfortable and the desk staff was marvelous.
• The bathroom amenities were not what I would have expected in a hotel of this category. A bit sparse.

“This is probably one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. I am a Baltimore native and am really happy to see the city have such a wonderful hotel and in such a fantastic location! Would recommend the Harbor Court to anyone!”

• The atmosphere was great and very relaxing.
• There were drops in service from staffing and they also charged me more money to upgrade to a room with a view.

“The hotel charged me more for a room with a view. The only view is the harbor. Not getting this as standard didn't seem fair, and gave me the feeling I was being gouged.”

• Slightly dated appearance, which can be a strength or weakness depending on one's perspective.

“Great location on Inner Harbor and short walk to Camden Yards. Hotel has older, historic feel which is either a strength or weakness depending on one's perspective. Master suite was amazing! Very friendly and helpful staff.”

• The room had a great view of the harbor, and the king size bed was so comfortable.
• Room service didn't clean our room the second night.

• Very nice bathrooms, pool/spa facility.
• No double/double rooms avail even though we had 3 small children, 30$ up charge for rollaway bed.

“Nice staff, clean rooms. Very nice bathroom. New flat panel TV. We got the room furthest from the elevator and no double-double beds were available (we have 3 small children) Conveniently located to inner harbor. Unusual up charge (30$) for a rollaway bed.”

• Valet parking is $32 a day. Ridiculous!

Easy to walk to Federal Hill or even other city areas around the harbor. Make sure to get a Harbor view in your room, not much to look at if you don't.”

“The Intercontinental has a great view of the Inner Harbor. We had a waterfront view which looked like a postcard shot. The room was nice. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were great. TV in the bathroom and another large high def flat screen in the bedroom area. As an electronics guru I was especially pleased that I could play my iPod on the alarm speakers. Felt like a luxury stay!”

• Forced to check in late; cafe could not accommodate us for breakfast.

“We arrived prior to checking and the clerk told us he would call us on our cell when the room was ready. However, he never did. In the morning, we went down for breakfast and the restaurant told us we would have to wait 45 minutes. Then when we went to the coffee shop we were told we would have to wait 15 minutes because they were cleaning their machines. They did however allow a late check out to try to fix the late check in issue.”

• Close to harbor, great newly renovated bathrooms with flat screens in bathroom.
• Horrible pink wallpaper & old lady floral carpet.

“Typical 4 star hotel. Very good. The wallpaper was pink and ugly. The carpet was dated looking. The bathrooms were close to the best bathrooms I have been in. They had very recently renovated and 20" is flat screen TV's installed. Big flat screen in the room as well. The rooms were big. I got the most basic room they had too I think. Okay furniture in the room. Good in room safe. Beds were good but not great. Very good staff. I would definitely stay there again.”

• Beautiful lobby, plush, very comfortable beds, Indoor pool, quiet room away from city noises, hot tub closed.
• Inaccessible parking with costly valet parking.

“This Is a classy hotel with all the amenities Including an Indoor pool. Baltimore's Inner Harbor Is directly across the street. Rooms are spacious with beds that are well-appointed Including lots of pillows and a fluffy duvet. Room overlooked a flowered courtyard. Nice, though pricey selections from room service menu Including eggs benedict. Daily charge for wireless services, In-room movies pricier than most hotels.”

• Soft comfy beds.
• Expensive parking for a hotel, staff tried to make out with me at 4 AM.

“Well, I was initially looking for a hotel to stay in since my friends and I would be out drinking all night, and driving back to NJ was not an option. I did not think I would pay almost $20 to park overnight when valet was $21. The front desk guy was awesome, I accidentally left my camera and he called my room and let me know. The TV in the bathroom did not work, and the room did not exactly look like the pictures on line. But still nice, my bathroom was occupied by my friend so I went to look for one, a bell hop advised me that there was one on the 2nd floor and he took me there and back to my room, but then tried to hug me and I think he would have kissed me if I did not turn away. Kind of freaked me out. but I got back to my room and then went to bed. Nice place if you like to make out the help. Oh and the next morning I set my hair dryer down on the sink and the TV came on by itself. The Fuji water in the room was priced at $5.”

• The Brightons restaurant was terrible. Brunch was actually quite lousy. Service mediocre, food terrible.

“Rated as a 4 star hotel but not in my book. Ordered breakfast in room (Manhattan bagel with salmon and cream cheese). Quite skimpy on the salmon. Also, the shower had plastic curtains. You would think that a 4 star rated hotel would have glass doors.”

• Close to inner harbor, clean, nice staff, comfy beds and rooms.
• The hotel charges $21.00 + tax to park in a public parking deck which itself only charges $17.00 per 24 hours. Hotel stealing money!

“The hotel was beautiful! better than I expected. Staff helpful and friendly. Our room could be a better color ( it was pep to pink) but the beds were very comfy with down everything! but watch out for parking. $21.00+tax/ night is what the hotel charges to park in the public parking deck that itself only charges $17.00/ 24 hours.”

• Thermostat in our room did not work.

“The thermostat in our room was broken, and the room was about 80 degrees the entire time. We told the hotel staff and it was not repaired for the second night of our stay. The hotel was very nice and close to the inner harbor. The hotel bar/lounges were a little to fancy for us just to get a drink or two.”

• Loved the friendly service. Loved the decor and fresh flowers in lobby. The whirlpool hot tub by the pool was the Best!
• The restaurant was beautiful with beautiful view. The food was average with above average prices.

“Matched my expectations. No disappointments. The service was friendly and helpful. We requested an upgrade. Very generously, with no hassles we received a King size bed room. We were very pleased with all the service, when we asked for and received it. Beautiful accommodations. Couldn't have asked for more.”

• Hotel was in perfect setting and convenient to everything.
• The water in the room went for $5 a bottle.

“This hotel met all of my expectations and then some. It was conveniently located in the Downtown Harbor area, and was convenient to everything (Dining, tourist attractions, etc). The hotel room was spacious and designed to have a romantic setting. The front desk staff was very friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend this hotel as I feel as though I got a lot more than what I paid for.”
