• Not able to get a king bed -- had to have 2 doubles. Parking is ridiculously expensive.

• The location was outstanding, room was excellent.
• The main lobby was not as grand as expected.

“I had a short time in Baltimore and wanted to be well located to all the sites. The location of the hotel was outstanding and the attached walkways to the Inner Harbor were very convenient. The room was clean and well maintained - excellent for both leisure and business travel. Staff was very friendly!”

• Clean hotel and professional, friendly staff.
• Bathroom door squeaked badly and didn't lock, desk chair squeaked badly as well.

“Upon arrival workers were cleaning windows at entrance so we were inconvenienced by having to park and unload/schlep luggage thru garage. Sidewalk out front was being worked on (construction) which made it difficult to get to main street (Pratt) and also difficult/dangerous to walk directly across the street to Inner Harbor due to very busy road in both directions. Which sort of defeats the purpose of staying at hotel directly across from Inner Harbor if you have to walk all the way around and out of the way to get there? Starbuck/coffee depot also closed up very early each day.”

• The location was perfect for wandering the inner harbor and great restaurant choices.
• As with any city hotel parking was pricey.

“The Hyatt Regency, Baltimore far exceeded our expectations for this hotel. Our room was quiet and nicely appointed although the bathroom was a tad small and lacking towel bars. The staff was very professional and helpful. The inner harbor is right across the street with lots of restaurants and entertainment choices. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• The room was very attractive, location was fantastic.
• We had 1 water glass our entire stay in a room with 2 beds. Towels were also in short supply.

“Hyatt Inner Harbor is in a fantastic location. The hotel and room are very attractive. Our room was not super clean, however. The space under the desk and windowsills had clearly not been cleaned in a while. Our major gripe is with housekeeping. We got stuck in a room with two double beds, which was fine. However, we had only 1 water glass for all three nights, and one of those days, it was not even replaced with a clean one. We also had a bath mat only 1 night and only 1 face towel for two of the nights. The toilet could have been cleaned as well. Another major gripe is that this is a high end hotel- wireless internet should be included. They wanted to charge us $10 per day for this. Not acceptable in a hotel in this price range.”

“Really big room with no proper bed. So my poor wife and I ended up having to sleep on a fold-out sofa bed. Poor form. I was pissed. They did throw in complimentary breakfast the next morning ($60 value) but still.”

• I was celebrating my anniversary and they overheard and sent us a complimentary bottle of champagne.
• They accidentally gave us the wrong keys and we entered another persons room initially.

• HVAC system makes significant noise when coming on and shutting off.

“I am greatly disappointed at the effort the staff made to accommodate me after the inconveniences I went through. I actually took a downgrade in a room and still had problems through my stay. I was actually embarrassed to approach the staff anymore. I will never stay at that hotel again and will persuade anyone one else from staying there also.”

• Decor was very updated; beds were great; desk staff very nice.
• Night concierge was rude and unhelpful, couldn't be bothered with a restaurant recommendation.

“Modern, updated hotel in great location on the inner harbor, walk to Camden yards. Desk staff, valet, parking staff were all superbly helpful and friendly. Furnishings and beds were lovely. Spotlessly clean everywhere.”

• Great customer service- very warm and welcoming.
• Had a handicapped room- shower water went everywhere.

“This is a wonderful hotel. The location is excellent, and I can't say enough about the wonderful staff. The hotel is clean and bright, and the rooms are beautiful. Although the large windows allow in a lot of road noise, there is almost no noise from other rooms or the hallways. We feel completely spoiled from our 5-day stay there!”

“Going from the parking garage to the hotel, I felt like I was in the gutter, elevator horrible, dirty. Outside was old, needed a face lift. Lobby nice but plain, staff very friendly. Hallway outside my room dirty, crap on the floor. Room ok. Definitely not 4 star.”

• Comfortable and large room with good amenities.
• Noise from above, below and next door rooms. Could hear every word of normal conversations.

“While twenty million may have been spent on renovating this hotel, they didn't seem to spend a single cent on its fatal flaw - noise. We could hear the guys downstairs watching porn, the kids upstairs playing, and every word the people in the next door room were saying - even when they were just talking at normal conversational levels. For this one reason we would never choose to stay here ever again - no matter how nice they made the rooms.”

• The clerk Stacey was absolutely wonderful. She was very helpful, courteous and friendly.
• Having to leave the building to walk down the driveway instead of going through the lobby to the garage.

“The staff was very friendly and nice. The room was beautiful and clean. The area is gorgeous and very close to the inner harbor, the stadiums and fine dining. I stayed for only one night but it was excellent.”

“The room was nice and comfortable, but we were awakened at 8:00 a.m. by people moving tables in the restaurant one flight up. It was like being beneath a bowling alley. Not exactly the way I wanted to be woken up on a rare weekend away from the kids. It was very disappointing.”

• They charged me 4.77 for a can of coke and my room was musty.

“Parking was over priced at 27.00 per car for 2 cars. Everything in the room was overpriced, the room had a moldy scent to it. However the hotel was very attractive and the staff was very courteous. I took one Pepsi from the mini bar and got $4.77 charge added to my bill. It was only a can of Pepsi!”

• The room was dirty. The window was not cleaned and housekeeping never came to clean it. The maintenance of the room on second day was horrible.

“It was a disaster for being a 4-star hotel. The room was dirty from the window to the stain on the comforter. Disgusting! The service was slow and often incorrect.”

• The bed had a feather bed on top of the mattress it was very comfortable.
• The parking was 27 dollars a night way to much.
