“Great launching point for Baltimore's inner harbor. Walking distance to everything. It's a Hyatt, so its everything you'd expect from a Hyatt: clean, well appointed, nice lobby, etc. Parking is a bit steep.”

“Excellent location, loved the walkways to the Inner Harbor; loved the flat screen TV, cleanliness, hotel staff was friendly and helpful. My only disappointment is I love to swim and even though it was 90 degrees, they closed the hotel right on Labor Day.”

• The mattress on the bed.
• Outdoor pool, limited hours to swim, no whirlpool in spa.

“No toiletries in bath. One opened and used soap on the lavatory. One bottle of water taken from tray and paper wrap left on tray. No information in room on spa facilities. No complimentary paper left at door.”

• It's in a convenient location.
• We heard toilets flushing and A/C noise outside all night.

“The rooms are small and only had queen beds/full size. We heard other rooms toilet flush and the A/C for the floor was right outside our room and noisy all night. In addition, the service through out was below expectation. We went up to the concierge on Saturday morning to get directions and he was unfriendly and when we went downstairs to the Bistro for a late dinner, the hostess was unfriendly.”

• Our room was a bit small. The parking rate of $27/day is too high.

• Close to everything popular to see in Baltimore.
• No free WiFi & no room fridge.

“The hotel was great. The view of the city/harbor was great as well. The staff is very friendly and after just a few hours they recognize you and greet you by name. This hotel is close to anything you may want to see in Baltimore, museums, bars etc. There were only 2 things I did not like and that was the fact that there was no free WiFi. Also there was not a usable fridge for those of us that like to have a cocktail in the room before hitting the town. Great hotel.”

• Hotel room was located next to the stairway and we heard the door opening and closing all night long.

“Perfect, beautiful, wonderful location! Other than the poor location of the room - the hotel room tub did have mold in and around the trim which was unappealing (and correctable). However, the overall hotel qualities were wonderful! We would definitely stay again!”

• Computer check in didn't work properly, our room request was noted, but not initially provided.

“Very pleasant hotel, exceptionally well trained staff, who quickly fixed the problem at check-in. Parking fee is excessive for area, but certainly convenient (especially if you have a heavy rainstorm, as we had). Great harbor views, couldn't be closer to Inner Harbor attractions.”

• Beds were great. Location is good by the Inner harbor.
• Parking at $27.00 a night is overpriced.

“The computer check-in is fast and efficient but I wouldn't recommend it for a first timer as you receive no info on how the parking works or where the elevators are. It is not a very welcoming way to begin a hotel stay.”

• The location was ok for our purpose, not perfect.

“This was a Hyatt with all that is implied by that level of hotel. Beautiful public space. The room was great. The service was excellent. They respected my request. A wonderful experience overall.”

“The hotel overall was excellent. The location is perfect, right at the harbor and only a few minute walk to Camden Yards. The staff was more than friendly and helpful. The room (I had a room with two queen beds) and bathroom was roomy, clean and updated. Lobby is large and the restaurants have good food. The parking is $37 a day for valet, which we did, but since the parking deck is attached I think it would have been fine to self park, which I believe is $27 a day. but if you do valet you can come and go easily, just call down fist and the car is there when you come down stairs. Overall wonderful stay, well worth the price.”

“My family enjoyed a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were large and well furnished. The hotel has a rooftop walkway to other hotels and the Convention Center which was ideal. We didn't have to move our cars all weekend. Two small issues: the bath tub could have used a good cleaning but the room was otherwise spotless, and since our room was next to the elevator we dealt with lots of noise. Perhaps signage in the elevator reminding folks to respect the other guests (from 9am - 9pm) would have helped. I would definitely recommend the Hyatt to all of my friends and family.”

“The hotel, the room, the bedding and the location were impressive. What was not expected was receiving a wake up call a half hour late and that we had to call an engineer to come to the room because the TV would not turn on.”

“Fantastic location if you can stand the noise of the hotel. Unfortunately, it sounds like they used a sheet of construction paper instead of insulation between the walls and doors of this 1980's era hotel. Instead of moving us to a new room, or offering any kind of apology for the noise, we instead were provided with our receipt and told to have a nice day. Our toilet flushed by itself; we could hear the bar noise from a rowdy crowd; we could hear them stack tables and chairs in the ballroom (although we did not hear a loud event); oh yeah and we could hear our neighbors. These are all things you don't expect in a 4 star hotel and when they do happen, you expect a staff to make things right. They failed on both levels.”

• The pool staff was very friendly and accommodating.
• The check in clerks were not very friendly.

“The rooms were very clean and modern. The food in Bistro 300 was very ordinary for the price. It was a nice looking hotel, but I felt like it was just a place to go to sleep. Outside of the pool staff no one else even bothered speaking to you.”

“This is a wonderful property; however, when the primary reason for your stay is lodging and the bed is poorly made, it ruins the experience. We stayed at the same property several months ago and had the same problem, although we overlooked it that time as an enigma. Apparently not!”

• The room was spacious and comfortable and conveniently located.
• Linens not clean, no wake up call.

“The hotel was located in heart of the inner harbor, wonderful. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. However, there was a half empty used water bottle on our night stand. The metal trash can in the bathroom was dirty on the outside. As if liquid was splashed on it not cleaned off. We did not get our wake up call. There are no vending machines to get a drink.”

“The hotel was beautiful, clean, and conveniently located. However, the exorbitant charge for internet service and the fact that the refrigerator in the room was essentially useless (nothing personal could be stored in there, and if you even touched one of the items in there, you were charged for it) and the fact that the very high rate for parking was never mentioned in advance are issues that would prevent me from staying at this hotel again.”

“I would recommend this hotel for any traveler to the Inner Harbor area. It is within walking distance of all the major attractions. The restaurant Pieces was impeccable.”

• Terrible room cleaning service, cleaned room only 1 day in four which required calling the desk.

“Great location for convention center. They only cleaned room 1 day of a 4 day stay. And that was at 5:30 PM after calling at noon. Overpriced $5 cans of soda, water etc. Parking is $27.00 a day in addition.”

• Luxury really captured the kids attention. Hotel had a pond!
• Hotel over cooked my fish dinner and took way too long for our meal.

“We had a great time at the Hyatt. We came for the Orioles game. We thought that the bathroom was not very attractive at all. There was mold in the shower and complimentary shower gels/shampoos smell like orange poor. The beds were comfortable, but we could hear everything from the adjacent rooms. This room was okay.”

“I had a short time in Baltimore and wanted to be well located to all the sites. The location of the hotel was outstanding and the attached walkways to the Inner Harbor were very convenient. The room was clean and well maintained - excellent for both leisure and business travel. Staff was very friendly!”

• Clean hotel and professional, friendly staff.
• Bathroom door squeaked badly and didn't lock, desk chair squeaked badly as well.

“Upon arrival workers were cleaning windows at entrance so we were inconvenienced by having to park and unload/schlep luggage thru garage. Sidewalk out front was being worked on (construction) which made it difficult to get to main street (Pratt) and also difficult/dangerous to walk directly across the street to Inner Harbor due to very busy road in both directions. Which sort of defeats the purpose of staying at hotel directly across from Inner Harbor if you have to walk all the way around and out of the way to get there? Starbuck/coffee depot also closed up very early each day.”

• The location was perfect for wandering the inner harbor and great restaurant choices.
• As with any city hotel parking was pricey.

“The Hyatt Regency, Baltimore far exceeded our expectations for this hotel. Our room was quiet and nicely appointed although the bathroom was a tad small and lacking towel bars. The staff was very professional and helpful. The inner harbor is right across the street with lots of restaurants and entertainment choices. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.”
