• Very secure.
• The only option for parking was valet, cost $29 and to get 2 beds instead of one costs an extra $30.

“Felt very upscale and the room was nice but I was so disappointed with all the extra costs they charged!”

• It is a historic building, interesting design, and close to the attractions we were in town to see.
• The staff was not professional and the mattress was not high quality. The parking was expensive.

• $30/night to park in hotels.

• The location was well in reach of the event we attended.
• Prior to check in we were told that there were not any deposits or taxes. Later to find out that there is a car parking tax and room deposit.

• This is a nice hotel with good proximity to various venues.
• Parking is an issue, and could should cost less for guests.

“Our room, somewhat overheated (we turned it off when we could not adjust the thermostat, could have called the front desk but didn't), was nonetheless extremely comfortable and "roomy". It was winter, of course. Security is not an issue, and the medicine cabinet is well-stocked for emergency travelers' illnesses. Thanks.”

• Large rooms, great atmosphere and view.
• Worst AC ever; staff not so nice.

“Overall an ok place - very spacious and rooms, clean hotel, nice furnishings, look and feel. However, we stayed in July and the air conditioning was almost nonexistent, which made for pretty unpleasant nights - and the windows are painted shut! A hotel employee told us the crappy ac was typical, so beware. The hotel staff was not very helpful and their vague answers to questions about the area and parking options bordered on rudeness, as though it were a great inconvenience to provide any information. I wouldn't go back in mid-summer or mid-winter, but for the price I might go back in a milder season, despite the hotel's faults. The hotel is adjacent to loads of museums and the Washington monument park, but you'll need to take a cab or drive to the inner harbor.”

• It seems that the rooms were recently renovated and of very nice quality.
• We knew it would be quite a walk to Baltimores inner harbor for the hotel, but the walk took is through some areas of town that seemed pretty seedy.

• Beauty in the detail of the interior, all the amenities in room such as refrigerator, heated towel bars.
• Parking not supplied free, hard pillows, showerhead didn't work.

“The elegance of an old style hotel, complete with marble and architectural details of an era past. The restaurant has the cozy feel with dark, rich textures and once again, architectural details throughout. The rooms were cozy but still had all the amenities of a new hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in all areas.”

“Not a bad hotel overall - however they think it is NY and the fourseasons - parking for 2 days with a room was $56 come'on this is Baltimore....and I forgot my tie for a wedding and the concierge was useless I had to ask her to look something up in a phonebook, get a number and call my own cab to go and buy a tie - if you want to be like a fourseason act like it and lower the price on the parking!”
