• Stayed in rehabbed tower, room was nice.
• Elevator.

“Checked in around 2-3, room was not ready. They would call me when it was ready. I had to call them around 7pm when I did not here from them. There was only one elevator working so trying to get downstairs on Sunday morning was about a 25 minute ordeal. Had to take elevator up and stop at every floor on the way down. Food at the restaurant was ok, service was not the best. Plus is it's only about 4-5 blocks from harbor and stadium.”

• The room was lovely and the pool was an important aspect. We could walk to venues.
• A long interior hallway to our tower elevator. Parking was expensive.

“Excellent location. We were able to use a public parking garage nearby, but valet parking is available. The fitness center was of high quality, and the outdoor pool was a refreshing respite from the city heat. Our room was clean and bright with a large bathroom and a wonderful flat-screen TV. Hotel staff recommended several fun restaurants nearby for an evening snack. It was a pleasant stay.”

• The staff was nice.
• In a bad location and small room.

“The hotel was in awful area. We had to step over homeless people to get to the hotel from the Inner Harbor and that was going the safest was possible home. Parking was really expensive for the location away from the water.”

• They had a good fitness center and they had apples in the lobby.
• Housekeepers arguing in hallway, sheets were stained or dirty, checked us into a room that hadn't been cleaned, slow to fix that.

“Rooms were fairly small with only one chair. Lobby is lovely. Short walk to inner harbor. Staff is professional, polite and helpful, possibly somewhat disorganized at times.”

“I was able to check in early which was a plus. When I called prior to my arrival I was assured I would have a king size bed with microwave and refrigerator. When I arrived, they did not have any king rooms available and I was told that the microwave and fridge could be brought up to my room but I would be charged $40.00 per day. The person who checked me in did not explain any of the hotel amenities. They do not have a free breakfast for any of their guests and the hotel restaurant was very expensive.”

• I thought the lobby areas needed to be cleaned up a bit more. The carpets needed to be vacuumed.

• We liked this hotel because it was only about a ten minute walk to the harbor.
• The parking was a little pricey per day.

“Overall this hotel was very nice. The room we had was a little small and so was the bathroom. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. Overall it was a nice experience.”

“The hotel was very helpful when I arrived to find out that I reserved two rooms and they only had one room. They were not able to give me another room at the same price but we managed to find another hotel.”

• Ice machines were not working properly.

“Overall this is a nice hotel. We had plenty of clean towels and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying in the North tower if possible because of the proximity to the hotel entrance.”

• Renovated rooms were awesome.
• Lobby needs updating, noise from street (20th floor!).

“The Sheraton was a nice enough hotel 3 blocks North and 3 blocks West of the Inner Harbor (easily walk able). Stayed in the South Tower on the 20th floor. Room appeared to be renovated with very comfortable bedding and nice enough room. Lots of siren noise from the street even at 20 floors up. Lobby was not overly impressive. Confusing parking fees (combination of weekend + weekday rates ended in bill > a single day fee for less that 1 day parking). Overall a decent hotel.”

• Nice, clean, decent comfortable, beds.
• Telephones did not work causing problems.

“Telephones did not work causing huge headaches. Had to walk all the way back to room to get something I forgot because I could not call to talk to my roommate. Very loud downtown, making it hard to sleep. Ice machine on our floor did not work. $6.95 per 15 minutes to use computer.”

• The room was very clean and comfortable. Shower was great.
• The wait for the elevator was very long.

“The staff was excellent with all our needs. Hotel bar was great and was directly within walking distance to all attractions. The only downside was the wait at the elevator. It took forever. But I would encourage anyone to stay.”

“They would not valet park, could not understand check in's thick accent, lunch was expensive and not good. Room was as small as my cruise ship cabin but it was clean. Actually thought we were booking the "other" sheriton at the inner harbour; our mistake. would not book there again.”

• High end motel that charges for WiFi!

“We stayed in the South tower. Frankly were there to shower and sleep while we visited Baltimore. The rooms have been remodeled in the past couple years, quite well if I say so with flat screen TV's that really open up what would be a very small room. The concierge was closed on the weekend though and we were disappointed that the wired internet (no WiFi) was available only by an additional fee.”

• Convenient location to Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
• Hotel room was small.

“Hotel is 10-15 minutes walking distance from Inner Harbor, Convention Center and Camden Yards. Check-in staff and valet parking staff were very efficient. Did not use any of the hotel amenities ( pool, gym, restaurant, WiFi). Room itself was adequately furnished but small - fine for 1 to 2 people.”

• The bedding Sheraton promotes is very good, the bathroom was very chic.
• The toilet seat was loosely attached and I fell, maid service very poor.

“The toilet seat is no joke; I was hurt and had to call for help. I had to chase the maids down (3) times to get supplies for the room. The place was clean, the room acceptable. The breakfast buffet I had at the Shulas Steakhouse on property was poor; some of the food was rotten. No public areas, no data etc.”

• It was very tastefully decorated. The rooms were very big and comfortable. The beds were superb and the deco in the room was very tastefully done.
• I have no words.

The beds were superb and the deco in the room was very tastefully done. The hotel is very close to the Inner Harbor and it is very safe to walk around even at night. If parking is not available at the hotel, there is an over flow garage which is also located in a very convenient location. I would recommend this hotel to every one.”

• Attractive rooms, good location.
• Most of the employees were on strike, parking was way too expensive, lots of street noise.

“Well. Most of the employees were on strike, no one cleaned our room, parking (self-parking. in what appeared to be a giant boiler room) was ridiculously expensive as was the food (six dollars for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich), and a very noisy (yet decent) location. A comfortable place to sleep.”

The staff was doing a excellent job in providing visitors with needed information and rooms, that suit them. I really the service when staff would park your car for you and help with your luggage to your room if needed!”

“The hotel was nice. I just thought it was closer to the harbor. There were several hotels closer. When I told staff that it was my birthday, so I was hoping for a special room, they gave me a special room, but it was standard. There was not even a tub.”

“The Sheraton is in a premier location close to many attractions and restaurants. It's a suitable stay for anyone, fit to accommodate families, business travelers, and a even couples who are looking for a romantic getaway.”

• It would be better if it's closer to the inner harbor.

“Place is clean and provides great service. The man at the desk is very polite and helpful. Walking distance to the inner harbor is pretty close but still a good 5-minute walk. I'm sure it's safer and much more crowded on the streets during summer but I stayed there in early Jan. So if sunsets early, it's a bit dangerous walking outside at night. Not that many people on the street where Sheraton is located at and lots of homeless people wondering around. I walked back to my hotel right after when the clock ticked to 9 pm. Oh yea, just make sure you asked for the North tower rooms like others mentioned. It's clean, the bed is great and it has a LCD TV. Only thing I can whine about is that the bathroom is a bit small.”

• They tried to charge me for an Wi-Fi connection that I did not use.

“The service was excellent. When I checked in, I needed to change the room they had me in, from a king bed to two double beds. There were no problems with this request. The only problem I had with the experience was the morning of check out, there was a statement under my room door for a Wi-Fi connection. I don't even have a laptop computer, so when I went to the front desk and presented the problem, they gladly took it off my bill. Overall I was very happy, and I would probably stay there again if the need aroused.”

“Everything was excellent except for the parking situation. The cars are not placed in a garage. They are parked on the street in not so good areas. If they are unable to find a space right away, they drive your car around the city until they find one. A friend of mine saw his car pass the hotel 4 times before they parked his vehicle 30 minutes later.”

• The friendliness of the staff and the location was minutes away from the stadium.
• The hotel has two towers, one tower was under renovation - the one I stayed in was very nice the other was not.

“The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us to get directions to wherever we needed to go. Valet was $33 a day. What I did not like, my friends stayed in the South tower which was under renovation. It was in horrible condition. I had stayed in the North tower which was beautiful and worlds different. The hotel staff did give my friends vouchers due to the condition of their tower.”

• Unclean and many things were in disrepair.

“This hotel was in a less than ideal location for a family with children. The girls that were with me were scared of the area. Apparently a lot of the staff was recently laid off and they did not have enough workers to accommodate all of their guests. As stated before, things were in disrepair and falling apart. No microwave in room and when we asked for one they said they would have to charge us for it. It took forever to get extra shampoo, etc. And the staff in room service had no clue what they were doing. This was for my daughter's 12 birthday and we were very disappointed. Also, no indoor pool.”

• The beds were comfortable. Most staff was friendly and eager to help.
• The rooms and beds were small. We asked for clean towels and trash to be removed. We only got the towels.

“I expected a little more from a Sheraton. The room was extra small and cramped. We stayed three nights. On the second night they expired our key and we had to go back down to the lobby for them to fix it. This happened after a long day and we were exhausted. I had two rooms in my name. My mother arrived while we were out. I left her name. They said it would be no problem. After her long journey to get there they gave her the key after a 20 minute conversation. The hotel was clean and most staff friendly. The beds were small but comfortable. The shower was nice as well.”

“Cant believe how dirty and dangerous the common areas were on my floor. There is an extensive renovation going on and the way it was proceeding during my trip was sloppy inconsiderate and misguided. This hotel needs a wake up call.”

• The location was outstanding.
• The hotel had insects (roaches) and the staff didn't accept this as being a big problem.

• The renovated rooms are nice and staff is very friendly.
• It is hard to pull up to front door driving and the hallway on the 23rd floor needed vacuuming.

“This hotel is still being renovated so I insisted on a renovated room in the north tower. The room we had was nice. Shula's 2 have a good breakfast buffet, but we didn't get a chance to eat dinner there or in Shula's steak house. All of the staff we encountered in the hotel was very friendly. There is not much room to unload your car or pull up to the front door, but there is an underground parking lot across the street with a stairway and an elevator to the street. It is about a ten minute walk to the Inner harbor. Overall it is a pretty decent hotel value for leisure or business travelers.”

“Nightmare! Room was not completely finished with work in progress on adjacent rooms. Maid service very sloppy elevators took for ever to use walked 5 floors down after very long wait. After 2 days we complained to front desk and the manager put us in a different room in the north tower.”

• Nice location.
• The renovation experience was not so great.

“While it is a nice hotel with a very good staff, one of the rooms they gave us should not have been used. Phones did not work, the room smelled of kerosene or some other chemical, and there was a light that could not be turned off (we had to take it apart and unscrew the bulb). I'm sure the problems with this room had to do with the renovations they are going through, but this room should not have been released to the public. Also, the elevators are real slow.”

• The fact that one of the staff moved us from our original room to a nicer room.
• The first room we were given on the 26th floor was about to be remodeled and should not have been given to anyone.

“Some of the staff was friendly and accommodating. Others were anything but. There were no lamps on the tables, the hallways were dusty and dirty, there was drilling and remodeling in the adjacent room until 6:30 at night at which time we complained and were move to another room. I did appreciate that.”
