“Hi guys this hotel very nice place.” Jul 31, 2008 by
Marguerite from Princeton, NJ
“Good location.” Jul 31, 2008 by
Christine from Bloomfield, NJ
“I was a little afraid to stay here after reading some of the reviews, but let me tell you, we had a WONDERFUL time, the front desk clerk could not have been more accommodating, we were upgraded to a King room with a smile. The room itself was of decent size, very clean, and well appointed for a weekend stay. I'd highly recommend staying here.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Erica from Stewartstown, PA
“Very good location for Harbor just outside of being directly downtown by the water. Clean, neat and friendly staff.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Donna from West Chester, PA
“The hotel was on a whole nice, clean and the staff was friendly. The mattress was not up to great standards and the pillows were below par, they were very uncomfortable to use. But on the whole it was nice. I felt that the bathroom which they told us had been recently redone, was way too small. I would like to see more room inside the bathroom and less on the outside where the sink was.” Jul 26, 2008 by
Stan from West Bloomfield, MI
“The hotel was not in a very good area, no concierge in lobby. I was bothered by the price of coffee $2.75!” Jul 25, 2008 by
Dee from Forest Hill, MD
“This was a terrible stay. To start off with, we were not instructed that our room was in another section of the hotel. After searching for 10 minutes for our room, we called back down to the front desk and were given the wrong directions for where we were to go. As non-smokers we were given a smoking room that smelled so bad, we only managed a foot in the room before once again returning to the front desk to ask for a room. The room we were given was very small. To use the shower or toilet, you had to squeeze between the toilet and vanity, and then shut the door. That was just ridiculous. In addition, the room was dirty. Hair from previous guests was on the shower walls and fixtures. We asked to be moved to the main hotel, but they would not despite having plenty of rooms available.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Tiffany from Baltimore, MD
“Clean, friendly, and close to inner harbor. You may fare better at a different restaurant if you want any variety.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Lorenzo from Newport News, VA
“We asked for a non smoking room, but had a smoking room. We have two teenagers who are male and female (16 and 18) and both of our rooms had 1 queen size bed. After asking for a sleeper cot around 2:00 pm, we didn't get the cot until 1:25 am the next morning, after inquiring again about the sleeping situation. The rooms were in the old wing of the hotel, which needed to be renovated. There was a small hole in the bathtub/shower and stains in the chairs. After being charged $21.00 a day for parking, there wasn't any parking spaces available when we returned in the afternoon. This has been the worst experience that my family and I have had while vacationing. I am retired military, so we have traveled in Europe and most of the United States. We do not plan on traveling anytime in the near future. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone that I know.” Jul 22, 2008 by
Jason from Stephens City, VA
“Wonderful Hotel a short walk from anything in Baltimore's Inner Harbor.” Jul 22, 2008 by
Maureen from St Cloud, FL
“Extremely clean, immaculate and well kept room, king, non-smoking, in main tower. Bed very comfortable. Location was good for access to sights and attractions. Noise from fire station across the street. Not hotel's fault but beware if you need quiet orsirens bother you, stay elsewhere. Room service breakfast was superior. Blueberry pancakes and bacon arrived perfectly cooked and hot! Excellent food at reasonable price. Highly recommend room service for breakfast. Asked for and received early check in and late check out and both granted. Nice extra.” Jul 22, 2008 by
Art from Fairfield, CT
“Tiny rooms with noisy AC unit. Broken chair with a law suit ready to happen. Staff that does not pass on problems like non working internet so problem can be solved. Good location for inner harbor area.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Ch from Richmond Heights, OH
“Though the public areas (hallways, corridors) for the hotel rooms were rather old and need updating badly, the guest rooms, themselves, were very nice. The location was within walking distance to the Inner Harbor, but it was also far enough so that it was quiet. It is just minutes away from the Convention center. I felt safe in the vicinity. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend this hotel to other people, and would stay there myself again.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Nancy from Raleigh, NC
“Perfect location, nice large clean rooms. Enjoyed the stay and would definitely return.” Jul 15, 2008 by
Anna from Lanoka Harbor, NJ
“I enjoyed staying at this hotel. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and how pleasant the staff was. I would recommend this hotel to others. I do wish that the prices in the mini mart were less expensive. I thought $3 for bagel or for cereal was a little much.” Jul 15, 2008 by
Victor from Tennsaukn, NJ
“I thought the hotel was a little closer to the harbor than what it was. But on the other hand it was closer to the train station. Very good experience and clean rooms with good information from the front desk.” Jul 12, 2008 by
Robert from Trevose, PA
“The accommodations was good for the price, but the parking was extra. I will not stay at this hotel again.” Jul 2, 2008 by
Jay from Newtown, PA
“The staff was awesome and very helpful. The room was superb, very clean. I've had experience where a hotel kicks you out at 12 no questions asked. I was at a meeting and was late getting back; I had no problems requesting additional time. If I have to visit Baltimore again, I'll definitely stay here.” Jul 2, 2008 by
James from Langhorne, PA
“Non smoking rooms are located in a detached building from main hotel. A large foreign staff most seem to be students and not well versed in English. A few of the key people (foreign) in the restaurant services areas were either very under trained or did not understand the customs.” Jul 2, 2008 by
Suzanne from Flint, MI
“The hotel personnel were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The mattresses and pillows were great-better than home. This hotel would be the place I would want to stay again.” Jun 29, 2008 by
James from Pulaski, VA
“The Holiday Inn - Inner Harbor was awesome! The rooms were great, the staff was amazing, the hotel restaurant "Eden West" was great (although the scrambled eggs on the breakfast buffet were not good, they had dried out). The pool area was very nice, however the pool albeit indoor was not heated, and the water was so cold we couldn't stand to be in it. The workout room was great with a great selection of machines. The hotel is about 2 blocks from Camden Yards, and about a 15 or so minute walk to the harbor. Very nice area! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!” Jun 29, 2008 by
P from Fenton, MI
“Rooms were a disappointment. Need better decorating and the bathrooms, way too small.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Dan from Mechanicsburg, PA
“Great hotel in a convenient location to see all the sights in Inner Harbor or to go to the convention center. Rooms were clean and neat and the hotel staff was very amenable and friendly.” Jun 16, 2008 by
David from Dallas, TX
“The hotel has a great location for business travelers, business center, no charge, and wireless internet.” Jun 7, 2008 by
Chris from Hudons, OH
“Top notch. Highly recommend. Friendly, smart staff.” Jun 6, 2008 by
Denise from Dedham, MA
“The location was great. But the bathroom was horrible, the shower barely gave out any water and you couldn't use the toilet without your knees hitting the bathroom door.” May 30, 2008 by
Nick from Franklin, PA
“Location is good (not really close, but within the walking distance to Inner Harbor). Parking space is limited. I don't know if the hotel keeps track of the number of parking tickets they issue (versus actual available parking space). Overall experience is good.” May 30, 2008 by
Gerald from Reno, NV
“Dirty, small rooms, very outdated.” May 30, 2008 by
Sharon from Spring Brook Twp, PA
“Hotel was easy to find, check in was very smooth, it was at the very end of the inner harbor, and therefore it was a little bit of a walk to the main area. However, if you are going for a game this is a great location?” May 30, 2008 by
Neslyn from Huntington, NY
“The hotel was nice.” May 26, 2008 by
Dave from Harrisonburg, VA
“It was a good stay - would stay there again. Located near light rail which we rode back from the airport. We walked to the Inner Harbor quite comfortably.” May 26, 2008 by
Sara from Johnstown, PA
“Very classy hotel, but meant for richer people that can spend their money in the restaurant for every meal. Paying for parking was slightly ridiculous.” May 24, 2008 by
Sandra from Argyle, NY
“Hotel is located close to public transportation which made it easy and inexpensive to get to and from the airport and reach attractions. It is only a few blocks from the Inner Harbor. Staff were extremely helpful. Room was clean, large and quiet. Pool area was nice.” May 24, 2008 by
Linda from Fargo, ND
“This Holiday Inn is located two blocks from Camden Yards, within walking distance of the inner Harbor, and three blocks from the train station into Washington DC. The hotel pool has a lifeguard on duty, which is great if traveling with small children as we were. I do not know how they did it, but the rooms were amazingly soundproof. Despite being across the street from fire station I, and next to the commuter train lines, we heard neither in our room. Though our four year old loved standing at our hotel window and watching the fire trucks come and go. Room service was excellent, and the coffee shop in the lobby had both a good cup of Joe, and fruit and juice for the kids. The hotel had just completed a major upgrade, and it showed in all areas. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.” May 20, 2008 by
Sharon from Leesburg, VA
“Everything would have been fine aside from the noisy fire station that got calls all night long, and some noisy hotel patrons.” May 19, 2008 by
Bruce from Fall River, MA
“Nice for a short stay. Everything in walking distance.” May 19, 2008 by
Frank from Phoenixville, PA
“They need to fix and replace the heaters/air conditioners. The thing was so loud and making all kinds of noises that I could not sleep. I turned it off and it was still making a strange noise. Would not stay here again.” May 17, 2008 by
Lynne from Bellingham, MA
“The hotel was clean and attractive. The employees were very friendly and accommodating. It was superbly located for our needs - going to the baseball game and the Inner Harbor. The shuttle to and from the airport was prompt and convenient. Cab transportation was easily accessible. I would stay again.” May 10, 2008 by
Thavee from Hampton, VA
“This hotel is best suited for the business traveler and those who don't mind spending more for lodging close to major attractions. It's a good hotel if you can financially support it, but with kids it's not recommended. Sensed that kids weren't welcomed and are inconveniences. Wife went out to the parking lot and witnessed a drunk trying to get in. The individual appeared to be a businessman lodging at the hotel. Internet was provided, but you needed wireless (again, business travelers would be better suited for this). Overall, a decent hotel.” May 9, 2008 by
Peter from Norfolk, VA
“Manager tried to make it better, but the room was way below a three star!” May 8, 2008 by
Bob from St Louis, MO
“Great location with access to many of the areas attractions. Friendly staff, clean and convenient.” May 8, 2008 by
Nicole from Hillside, NJ
“Friends has already warned us that they were going to put us in the older side (and sure enough they did). This hotel clearly is to best a 2-3 star hotel.” May 1, 2008 by
Donna from Virginia Beach, VA
“We were very pleased with the hotel, rooms, staff and restaurant. Unfortunately our parking garage experience will stay in our minds for a while to come.18 dollars per day. The worse part was that the roof of our 2002 Ford Excursion was damaged by the extremely low hanging pipes in the ceiling of the parking garage. We had to stop several times on our way back to VA. to temporarily fix the damage because of the noise it was making on the interstate as well as fear of something loose flying off into traffic. Our truck is not a 4x4 so the body is not by any means raised. There are no aftermarket accessories that would of caused the damage. The garage is flat out not tall enough for a family sized SUV.” Apr 29, 2008 by
Peter from Ithaca, NY
“This was a pleasant enough hotel. The room was clean, everything worked, and the staff was helpful and friendly.” Apr 28, 2008 by
Casey from Forked River, NJ
“Did not think this was a 3 star hotel. I requested a smoke free room and was supposedly given on the 2nd floor. However our room was right next to the stairwell door when the cleaning staff smoked downstairs in the parking garage. It smelled like smoke was coming directly into our room all night. We did not call the front desk because our 2 yr old was already sleeping and we did not want to move him. But when I told the girl at the desk when I checked out the next morning, she said she would tell someone and that was it. She didn't say sorry about the inconvenience or offer any compensation. I think this was poor customer service.” Apr 28, 2008 by
Amee from Douglassville, PA
“Ok for a 1 night visit. Beds were awful and dingy. Hotel is becoming dilapidated and definitely does not qualify for a 3 star rating.” Apr 28, 2008 by
Don from Glastonbury, CT
“Great location, clean and comfortable room.” Apr 27, 2008 by
Pat from Apex, NC
“Good location for families going to Inner Harbor(12-15min walk). But take note, do not venture out on foot after dark. This hotel is really on the edge of the tourist area. A good rule of thumb is that if you can see the water, you are probably ok. Witnessed purse snatching at dusk as I walked back to hotel from Harbor. Many panhandlers and homeless on the way. Air Conditioner made me think I was on the runway at BWI. Wireless, not always reliable, and very slow. Miss-classified as a 3star.” Apr 21, 2008 by
Kathryn from Niskayuna, NY
“The rooms (at least in the West Tower) seemed dark, dated, and inconvenient. The worst problem was the thin walls. A crying baby in the next room kept us up almost all night. However, the staff is great and the location is convenient. For example, we asked for a rollaway bed and got cheerful and prompt service.” Apr 19, 2008 by
Maureen from Brandon, VT
“I was disappointed with the facilities. The location was great and staff were excellent.” Hotel Representatives:
