• The room was a nice size and they provided Bath & Bodyworks products.
• $21.00 for parking.

“I usually stay at 4star hotels in this area so I was a little nervous about staying at the Holiday Inn... Well, I'm not anymore and I must admit that there wasn't a huge difference. My daughter and I were trying to point out differences throughout our stay and we could not come up with anything major so I will be staying here again.”

• Location was near where I had the meeting. The people were very friendly.
• The hotel was to close to the fire station. I heard the sirens all night. I had to pay for parking and there was no continental breakfast.

“Very nice and pleasant. The part of the hotel you had to walk to get your car was dirty and unkept. There were very few channels on the TV and no guide.”

• Most of the staff was friendly and knowlegeable.
• We had bad luck with the staff that dealt with our complaint...

“We stayed on the 10th floor at the west tower. The room was clean and nice until about 6 AM. The roof started leaking at around then. When we called the front desk and told them about the leak, they said they couldn't do anything. Because we were in the middle of our sleep, we didn't want to pack and move to another room. So when I checked out and complaint about the leak in the room, the front-desk staff did not accommodate our request.”

• It was clean
• I didn't like that they started painting the doors on the floor we were on (10th) leaving a paint odor in the hallways

“I think that they should offer a continental breakfast, or at the very least free coffee. The coffee in the room isn't good since there isn't any milk. I also didn't think that they should charge $21.00/day for parking. I didn't know there would be an extra charge for parking until we got to the hotel”

• Walking distance to Camden Yards and the Inner Harbor.
• The breakfast buffet was too expensive and of extremely poor quality.

“Our room was near the elevator and ice machine so it was a little noisy, but not too bad. Our king size bed reservation was downsized to queen, which is always annoying. The room was clean and staff were friendly. We enjoyed the close proximity to Camden Yards, but by far the worst part was the breakfast buffet. Cold eggs, overcooked sausage. Everything was cold and un-edible. Go eat somewhere else.”

• Big comfortable room with fridge. Nice people. Great Location.
• Parking was $21 per night.

“Well run, clean, nice people, big room with two queen beds. We all loved the beautiful pool and dad relaxed in the sauna. Easy walk to all the key sights in downtown Baltimore. In room fridge let us save on meals by eating in or making sandwiches for the day. We had a great time here!”

• The huge bed and TV. Nicer set of soaps.

“It was definitely a step up from the hotels I am used to going to. The room was nice, unique and clean. It had a huge bed and TV. It also had wireless which enabled us to just stay in the room instead of seeking entertainment somewhere else. When we did get out of the room though, we did not find that many places nearby to chill out at night. There was a Starbucks around the corner, but it closed at 10. And there is some theater nearby as well (Hippo-something). The bars and restaurants were either a bit too sketchy or too over the top. There didn't seem to be anything in the middle. The bathroom was small, but the nice thing was the soaps were much better quality than your average Holiday Inn.”

• I would like to see the hotel bar/restaurant stay open much later.

“The Holiday Inn is about a five block walk from the Inner Harbor, which makes it great for easy access to dining, shopping, and bars. The rooms are comfortable and clean with nicely updated features like a beautiful Kohler sink, contemporary bedding and window treatments, and a great flat screen TV. It's conveniently located, comfortable, attractive, and affordable - there's nothing to dislike.”

• They have an excellent manager who was always attentive to every customers and always asked, everyday, if everything was okay.
• For a hotel of such caliber they should at least have an airport shuttle to collect its guests.

“I would highly recommend the hotel, although the surrounding areas outside the hotel did not feel as safe. A lot of vendors, loiterers, drunkards etc. hanging with in meters outside the hotel.”

• Location.
• Really uncomfortable pillows, outdated decor, maintenance issues need to be addressed.

“Location is great...only a couple blocks from Inner Harbor, Nathionsl Aquarium, Little Italy, USS Constitution and other Baltimore attractions. Hotel itself is stuck in the 80's, needs updating badly. We had either 6 or 8 pillows on the bed, but the pillows were small, and very bouncy...like nerfballs. Our room smelled OK, but was stuffy. When we turned on heating/cooling unit, it sounded like a jet was going to land in the room. The fluorescent bulb in the bathroom light fixture was going bad, so we couldn't see very well. Maintenance person did replace it quickly when we called the front desk. The coffee maker did not work at all. Overall, a 1 or 2 star property in a 4 star location.”

“The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The front desk personnel were professional and helpful. The children loved the pool! As we had a person with an injured leg and 4 older individuals, the walk to the Inner Harbor was difficult, it was farther than we expected, but close enough for everyone else to walk. We really enjoyed our stay!”

• Coffee cups were not clean in room - still had coffee in them.

“I had two gentleman with me and another young lady and we live in downtown Washington, so we are used to navigating these types of waters, I just wonder about the woman and her daughter, visiting Baltimore pulling up to that type of situation - maybe not so good. Everything else was great, except clean the coffee cups - they are black and it is hard to see - I am so glad I didn't use them! Front desk staff rocks.”

• They were very short staffed. The rooms needed upgrading.

• Front desk clerk was exceptionally courteous. Location was great.
• Breakfast buffet was overpriced. Other than fresh-made omelets, other food was awful.

“Super convenient to Inner Harbor and Camden Yards. Front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. Omelets were fine; all the other food (potatoes, bacon, etc) was awful. Room was beautiful, very large, spacious, and comfortable. Only 3 elevators though, and there was always a wait of several minutes for an elevator.”

“Hotel staff goes out of their way to please guests. Free internet is a big plus although somewhat unreliable. My last stay here 10 years ago was unpleasant. this stay I found hotel remodeled with a great staff. Do not eat here. Food overpriced and awful lots of good restaurants nearby would recommend Marriott morning buffet across street.”

• The food in the restaurant was terrible. We tried breakfast and dinner.

“This hotel was very nice and if they will replace some of their cooks, they will have a nice 3 star hotel. The front desk was excellent. The food in the breakfast buffet was terrible. The girl cooking omelet had no idea what she was doing. The trio of small hamburgers at dinner was terrible as well. The slaw (crab slaw) was one of the worst things I have ever tasted.”

“I had to take a major law (bar exam) on July 29. I was awakened at 3 am with a leaking toilet and could not return to sleep. Plumber, I was told my front desk would not be on duty until 7 am. I was exhausted during the exam. It was really rough. The next day someone from guest services called to apologize and said she wanted to bring me a little something for my inconvenience. It was a small bag of pretzels, a bottle of water and a postcard of Baltimore in a gift bag! Wow, that really took care of my pain and anxiety. A free night's lodging in case I have to take the exam over again in Feb due to a lack of sleep this time around would have been much more appropriate!”
