“Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and nightlife. The room was clean, bathroom was very small. Parking was $18 per day. The pool, sauna and fitness center were clean and supplied with towels.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Lawren from Martinsburg, WV
“Convenient, Quiet, Friendly Staff, Basic Hotel.” Feb 12, 2008 by
Tavares from Chester, VA
“This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and this was horrible. I will continue to use your service but I suggest that you take this hotel off of the list to avoid loosing any customers.” Feb 2, 2008 by
Lee from Owings Mills, MD
“The room was ok the TV had a bad picture and could be bigger. The front desk girls were real nice.” Jan 25, 2008 by
Greg from Chicago, IL
“Good value for the price I paid.” Jan 17, 2008 by
Miggs from Washington, DC
“This hotel exceeded my expectations for a Holiday Inn. The room was huge, spacious, lovely, and fastidiously clean. The king size bed seemed enormous! There was no fridge (and the ice machine on our floor was broken), but the rest of the amenities were totally adequate. Parking in the adjoined lot was an adventure (I might be apprehensive if I were doing it alone), and it was fairly pricey, at $18. All of the front desk staff were polite and efficient, and even gave us a room with a view of Camden Yards and the Inner Harbor. We walked *everywhere* -- Mt. Vernon, 15 minutes; Federal Hill, 20 minutes. Overall, a very positive experience.” Jan 16, 2008 by
Clark from Birmingham, AL
“Good hotel but paid almost as much for parking as for a room. I would not stay here again for this reason. Hotel is also doing lots of construction.” Dec 5, 2007 by
Tug from Stanley, NC
“Put me in room outside the main hotel! Will never stay there again. Place was a joke.” Oct 30, 2007 by
David S. from Chapel Hill, NC
“Since I was with my girlfriend I asked if there were any king beds available. He mentioned that since we are expecting quite a lot of people tonight, we cannot accommodate you. He mentioned that there were only a handful of rooms with kings available. We were placed in a "filthy", extremely small room, with a queen bed. We wouldn't have minded the small room but it was filthy! There was actual dirt on the floor and the bed slanted downward at a 30 degree angle to the headboard. The mattress was probably over 15 years old. It was horrible too. This is the kind of room someone stays in if its that last room in the hotel and possibly for the maintenance staff if they pull an all knighted. It was unacceptable. Unacceptable. I am actually furious about this. We called the hotel manager and this time we got someone else (possibly change in shifts) and she mentioned that there was a king available on our floor and she sent someone to bring us the keys. Thank god! We got food from the hotel restaurant and although it was not high in quality and the staff was helpful (except for the woman bartender who would only wait on her 1 high roller tipper, who was an employee of the hotel, at the bar and not take our order she ignored us and possibly rolled her eyes at us when we asked if we can order food at the bar). We ordered it in the restaurant and the restaurant was packed with way too few servers. People were waiting and seating themselves. It was pretty ugly. However, we got our food relatively quick. Once again, my hamburger was huge but 75% lean frozen patty but all the fixings were there as well as silverware.” Oct 22, 2007 by
Norton from Sarasota, FL
“Very nice would recommend. However extra charges such as parking and internet were way too expensive.” Oct 17, 2007 by
Lawrence from Roanoke, VA
“I would highly recommend this hotel for its location, and its exceptional staff.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Alex from Crofton, MD
“It was ok, needs new mattress.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Kirk from Columbia, MD
“It took me 25 minutes to check in. Its called Holiday Inn Inner Harbor, it's 10 min walk to Camden 40 mind to fells. All this being said cheap place to stay.” Sep 18, 2007 by
Scott from Burlington, MA
“Hotel is in a great location if you plan on going to Camden Yards or the Inner Harbor. Light rail transportation to BWI Airport is a block away. We didn't need to rent a car while we were down there. Everything was within walking distance to the hotel.” Sep 5, 2007 by
Colm from Yardley, PA
“A good experience at a fair price.” Aug 31, 2007 by
Michael from Rockford, MI
“I thought the rooms were old but clean and my non smoking room was comfortable. I did love the free wireless internet.” Aug 21, 2007 by
Brian from Ellendale, DE
“Great hotel would stay there again!” Aug 20, 2007 by
Gnorth from Marion, PA
“I've stayed in better hotels, (and it was for 1 night). Took an hour to check in due them trying to give us keys to an all ready occupied room and moved us to new room w/keys that didn't work for that room. I felt the hotel parking was a little pricy considering location within the hotel. Beds were very hard and pillows were not comfortable but once again, it was for one night.” Jul 29, 2007 by
Lindsey from Levittown, PA
“My fiancée and I stayed at the hotel for only one night, and I'm thankful for that as it was the worst night of sleep I've had in a long time. While we were grateful that the hotel had honored our request for a queen size bed, it was either an extremely old or extremely low quality mattress as the middle was so sunken in we found ourselves tumbling into it throughout the night. The pillows were also about 3 times as thick as usual, and very firm. The hotel does offer a "pillow menu", where one can call the front desk to request a different density, but we felt the fuss should be avoided by providing a quality pillow to begin with. In the morning we decided to try the hotel restaurant's breakfast buffet, but its selection - waffles, omelets, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, and various fruit, pastries, and cereals - was pretty meager for the $15 per person price tag. We would not stay again.” Jul 14, 2007 by
Barbara from Poughkeepsie, NY
“I stayed there for 5 nights. Three of those nights there was no hot water to shower - although there was hot water from the sink. The ice machine didn't work on my floor. When I asked for coffee packets, I had to call Holiday Inn Corporate to complain as I waited for 1-1/2 hrs. Then, when I asked for ice, I was told to go to another floor.” Jul 12, 2007 by
Peggy from Syracuse, NY
“I would stay in this hotel over and over. It is in the perfect spot for all attractions and also easy access to major highways.” Jul 6, 2007 by
Leroy from Philadelphia, PA
“Clean, friendly and helpful staff, and close to all Inner Harbor attractions.” Jun 2, 2007 by
Neil from Charlestown, RI
“This hotel was an excellent choice for the sporting event attendance type trip. It is close to stadiums and near the inner harbor.” Jun 1, 2007 by
Amber from Mclean, VA
“The hotel was fine. The area was fine. It was all together an average stays.” May 20, 2007 by
Erin from Alpharetta, GA
“The main part of this hotel looked to be decent, but when I found out where our actual room was, the idea was not so pleasant. There was a separate building located to the side of the main hotel. You literally have to walk outside to get to the lobby from your building. The room itself was dark and looked old. The mattresses were old as well and were sunken in. There is a fire station across the street from this hotel and it is very loud. Especially in the morning hours. ” May 15, 2007 by
Darryl from Baltimore, MD
“The hotel was nice for the star rating given but they charged my c/c and had to travel back to the hotel to get my refund. I was not give anything for the inconvenience I was put through.” Apr 13, 2007 by
Steve from Baltimore, MD
“The holiday inn is a surprisingly excellent choice when staying in downtown Baltimore. Although rated only 2.5-stars, the facilities are more like a 3-star hotel. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained.” Mar 4, 2007 by
Marilee from Cookeville, TN
“Very serviceable, friendly staff, adequate, very clean rooms, in room coffee maker; great location. Parking was good and convenient.” Mar 1, 2007 by
Pat from Springfield, OR
“Clean and convenient with a nice swimming pool.” Feb 25, 2007 by
Michael from E Setauket, NY
“Hotel was ok. Room not bad, to long of a wait to check in. As a business traveler with morning meetings to attend, lack of a hot shower is absolutely not acceptable, even in a 3rd world country, let alone Baltimore, MD.” Feb 22, 2007 by
Frank from Port Tobacco, MD
“Halls were dark, carpet was stained, upholstery was crappy on furniture, with grease stains. Furniture was all like crappy particleboard with sheet plastic with wood grain. Room had strange "spoiled food odor" that never went away. Hotel's "high speed" internet was 11 MBS - pretty crappy. Curtains did not work smoothly. After looking at pool we decided not to go swimming - the chlorine was strong, but with mucus and other crap in the water.” Feb 20, 2007 by
Deborah D. from Columbia, MD
“The over all stay was a great and wonderful experience the hotel staff was great and the room where as well.” Feb 13, 2007 by
Lorri from Wytheville, VA
“I asked for a later checkout when I checked in because I would be staying late into the evening in Baltimore. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and said 3:30 would be fine, however he did not note it on my account. On the day of check out, housekeeping called to find out when I would be leaving and later management called and told me I had to be out by 1:00 or I would be charged for a 1/2 day. When I told her it was the front desk person, whom I described in detail, who told me the later time, she was neither sympathetic nor accommodating, and was actually quite rude. I would be hard pressed to stay here again because of her; all of the rest of the staff was fabulous.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 8, 2007 by

“Great downtown location, very friendly service just stays away from the food. Could have used a hot tub.” Feb 2, 2007 by
Jennifer from Syracuse, NY
“I really was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Very beautiful facilities :).” Jan 31, 2007 by
Jackee from Hanover, PA
“Would prefer a doorman or someone directing traffic, had to wait for a car that blocked entire drive for 5min. From the time I walked into the lobby to check in I crossed paths with 3 disgruntled guests. One bad mouthed the dining experience; the other two could not get into their rooms because their door keys were not allowing them access. Not only was checking in inconvenient but parking was a horror. I arrived at my room and there was hair on my toilet seat and they didn't give the 2 beds I asked for my children and myself. No exit signs located anywhere in parking lot. It was a horror and would never book there again. I cannot believe would be so ignorant to give this hotel 2 1/2 star. My first experience was horrific thanks.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Oct 25, 2006 by

“It is a nice place to stay near Inner Harbor.” Sep 29, 2006 by
Jim from Farmington Hills, MI
“Business-traveler friendly hotel conveniently located in downtown Baltimore. Near the light rail system, Camden Yards, the Inner Harbor and Fells Point. Clean rooms. Windows do not open to allow influx of fresh air. Noisy air conditioner unit that runs constantly. Limited television options. Comfortable beds. Below average hotel restaurant. Nice lobby coffee shops. Exceptional fitness facilities.” Sep 27, 2006 by
Herb from Mcsherrystown, PA
“Quick and Easy Check in and out. Leave key cards on table, sign invoice left under door in morning, and leave. Parking at time of review (September, 06) $15/ day on bill. Had event on day of checkout that ran until 6 pm. That much extra parking is $13- cash only, no cards. Consider light rail if driving in, otherwise a great price, saved over 2/3 off published rate. Stayed for regional poker tournament at another nearby hotel.” Sep 13, 2006 by
Cassnadra from Stahlstown, PA
“Over all our experience was a good one except that you have to pay $15.00 for parking at the hotel and they say kids eat for free, they do in their eyes because they don't charge for the children meals, but our meals were so highly priced that it would work out to be the same if you ask me! The hotel was very clean which is a big plus in my book.” Aug 7, 2006 by
Mike from Ocean, NJ
“The room was musty as soon as I opened the door. I should have followed my instincts. The A/C leaked all over the carpet during the night, and I woke to my suitcase in a poodle. After I told the front desk at checkout, no apology, no nothing, just OK thanks for letting us know. I am in the customer service business and I would have handled it much differently.” Jul 6, 2006 by
Deborah from Baltimore, MD
“The check in clerk was not friendly because my papers said check-in 3:00 instance of 4:00 and I did not know parking was $15 a day. So I had a hour and 1/2 wait to check-in because she had no rooms ready until 4:00. I went to find off street parking at a meter. The hotel food prices was experience and the food was not good. The location was great so I walked back and forward to the Inner Harbor Food Courts to eat and the Lexington Market. In the future I choice to stay at the Marriott's Hotel (BWI or White Marsh) my favorite places instance of Holiday Inns.” Jun 23, 2006 by
Tasha from New Brunswick, NJ
“I have been to better in this area. The only thing I liked about this hotel was the price. It was a good rate considering the normal rate for this area at this time of year. But, the room was small. The air conditioner did not work and functioned more as a fan. And the pool did not appear to be as clean as it should be. I must say, though, that the hotel staff was friendly and the hotel within walking distance to the Inner Harbor area attractions.” Jun 22, 2006 by
Benjamin from Gaithersburg, MD
“The Front Desk personnel is unbelievably rude. Two women and one man. Each one have very bad attitudes. Two of them are even chewing gum. What an experience dealing with them. They need to be fired. I will never stay at this hotel again. The Staff is just uneducated, rude, and have bad attitudes.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 21, 2006 by

“Check-in was easy and efficient, my hotel room had a comfortable king size bed in a large room. Much larger than I expected. I enjoyed the downstairs bar and restaurant.” Jun 20, 2006 by

“Convenient location near inner harbor area, friendly, helpful staff. If eating at hotel restaurant for breakfast stick with the buffet.” Jun 11, 2006 by
