- The location, quility of bedding, room size, and staff.
- The room did not have a microwave oven, the parking garage was inconvieant to get to and expensive.
“The room was great the staff was friendly. It was difficult getting to and from my car from the parking garage. It was about a 7-10 minute trip from the room to my car. 2 elavators and the lobby walk. I did not like that the rooms did not have microwaves or refridgerators. I was traveling with my infant and had to request a mini fridge which arrived to my room dirty. I also had to be relocated in the middle of my stay due to a maintance issue which was extremly diffucult becaus I had to pack everything I bought for myself and baby at 9 pm in the evening only to have to unpack agian and repack for the trip home the next morning. This hotel is ok for buisness of a weekend get away but not totally family friendly.”

- Good price for Downtown and short walk to inner harbor.
- There was a stale, musty smell in the hallway and room.
“The hotel was in a good location and close to Camden Yards. There's not a lot across the street, but its only a few block walk to stores/food. It was also a reasonable walk (15min) to inner harbor. The staff was nice and hotel never too crowded and was easy to park and take the car in/out for a $19 fee/day. On the lobby level all the elevators first went down to the basement before going up to the rooms which seemed more than a coincidence since it happened each time. The only negative is that there was a stale, musty smell that permeated the hallway and room on the 8th floor. The A/C was on in the room, but as soon as we turned it down and cold air wasn't pumping the smell was much stronger. So we kept the A/C on and it was not bad. Overall this was a good price for the location and amenities.”

- Clean, Beautiful building that was recently remodeled. Very friendly staff.
- There were no smoking rooms and I smoke. Not a big deal but I was on the fifth floor and you had to go all the way to the main entrance to smoke.

“The hotel had a courteous staff and very clean rooms. The bed was very comfortable. There was a $22 per day parking fee that was not mentioned when I booked it. Also, there was no mention of the renovations taking place. We still enjoyed our stay overall.”

- Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds.
- The Hilton has pretty much blocked the view of Camden Yards.
“Enjoyed a quick but comfortable stay. Beds were fabulous! Newly redone rooms are beautiful. Staff and management were very pleasant and helpful except the Front desk clerk that handled our checkout, she was a little gruff. Tavern food was ok, nothing special. Location is great for all Inner Harbor activities, a bit of a walk to the Harbor, but worth it!”

- Man murdered his three children in room while we were there.
“Rooms noisy and no good soundproofing. Other than the murder of the three children while we were staying there, the hotel was clean, staff friendly, rooms lovely, and overall, a good experience, though perhaps not up to usual Marriott standards - front desk receptionist (forget her name but she was from the Netherlands) was REALLY unhelpful and very condescending. Not my typical Marriott experience. Otherwise, rest of staff very helpful as always.”

“This is a well maintained hotel with good clean comfortable rooms in a good location. However, the charges for any service, provided gratis at most 1 star motel, are greedy. For example, the use of a computer in the business center is billed by the minute, and if connected to the internet, the charge is doubled. Wireless in rooms is $10. Parking at $22 is an understandable, but guests pay the same rate as non guests.”

- Broken elevators for hours (all 4 of them).
“The lobby is big and it is loud. The gift/snack shop does carry essentials, but there is little variety and one staffer seemed quite displeased to be there. The room was comfortable, though the bathroom was in need of slight repair (wallpaper ripped away in 2 places for access to pipes) and better lighting. Also, the light in the bathroom hummed whenever it was on, which was somewhat irritating, but perhaps less than the scratchy fabric of the towels. The sheets at this hotel are divine, and I thought the bed was too, though my companion felt otherwise. There seemed to be quite a few guests dining in their rooms, as there were very many room service trays left in the hallway for more than 8 hours. Here's a tip-if the passenger elevators stop working while you're there, take the service elevator. You get to it by walking around, underneath and past the escalator that leads to the second floor conference center or ballroom.”

- No hot water, noisy - some kind of roar on and off during the night. guessed it was the elevator.
“This is the first hotel/motel, ship, etc we ever stayed at that had no not water. It was tepid at best, consequently could not shower. Was not happy about that. Mentioned it at the desk and was told they would contact the engineer. Because we were on 6th floor thought we had to run it a while before it got there, but I had the tub half full and it was still tepid.”

- Paying $23.00 to park my friggin' car for one night. No valet, even.
“Very nice and clean hotel near the Harbor. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms (they need fans, though) fairly quiet (it was a Saturday) and overall pretty top notch. Seven minute walk to water and restaurants. Parking is high, though $23.00 a night seemed quite high to me. It was a great deal. I'd do it again and try and find street parking. I hate paying to park.”

- Location and early check in.
- Parking was not free.
“Was pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean and suitable for our needs. There was an in-room refrigerator; however, we could not use it since it was filled with beverages from the hotel that you had to pay for. The shower temperature was a bit sensitive, as you can go to scalding hot in just a tap of the dial. Good restaurant and friendly staff.”

- Convenient location, free shuttle service.
- A little too far from Inner Harbor for walking, rooms not as nice as I anticipated.
“This hotel was very convenient to Camden Yards, but about 5-7 blocks from the Inner Harbor. The rooms were nice, but could have been updated a little. The closet door was difficult to open and a ceiling tile in the bathroom was askew. The bathroom was very small for this level of hotel. The beds were very comfortable. The vending machine on our floor was completely empty and the pool area was not nearly as big and luxurious as the picture on their website shows. Overall, a nice hotel to stay. I would prefer to be a little close to the Inner Harbor next time.”

- The convenience to city attractions.
- The price for breakfast was a little high.
“This hotel is conveniently located near Camdon yards baseball park and all the waterfront attractions. Nothing is farther than a few blocks walk or cab less than 5.00 almost anywhere within the downtown Baltimore area. Security at the hotel front was good. I didnt have to worry about the needy or homeless constantly bothering me like most areas of downtown.”
