• The staff was great, very friendly and went out of their way to help in any way possible.
• The room was very small, the refrigerator was not very cold and there was no microwave.

• Hot tub.
• Fire alarm went off on our last morning & none of the staff told anyone what happened. Had to stand outside in the cold/rain.

• Convenient location, non-smoking hotel.
• Small rooms, nothing special.

“The room was just okay. A little on the small side, couldn't get the luggage cart into the room. I expected something more for a 3-star hotel, but it was pretty much the same as the Quality Inn next door, a 2-star hotel. The only bright spot about this hotel is that it's all non-smoking, so there's no chance of getting a smoking room at a Marriott-owned hotel; whereas, it's possible to end up in a smoking room at some other hotel.”

• Great staff - Super friendly and fast.
• Very tiny balcony! Width is fine, but only about 2 feet from door to railing.

“Well staffed in all areas with very friendly people who know what they are doing. Hotel offers a nice 24 hour store inside that has the usual snacks, drinks, and even bottles of wine!”

• I was very pleased with the hotel. Every thing was clean. We were well taken care of.
• The hallway to the pool has a little wear and tear. The towels were clean but smelled funny.

“We had a nice 4 day stay. Good side. We were very close to busch gardens and a short drive to all the other sites. Bad side. The towels had a smell of bleach mixed with burnt fabric. (in the dryer too long). The internet connect has a time limit. It rebooted before i could print my busch gardens tickets. Luckly BG's could look up the sale.”

• The hotel was 5 minutes from Busch Gardens.
• We liked everything.

• Very clean, friendly and accomadating.
• Breakfast would be nice if available even a continental which is nice to have something for children when they get up, breakfast quite expensive.

“The hotel was clean and very accommodating of extra things we needed staff friendly, it would be nice to have at least a continental breakfast or small things to purchase when traveling with children they are usually hungry early. Breakfast was very expensive and we did not purchase, we left the hotel, coffee was not filled/fresh. Overall the hotel was nice and we would return.”

“Overall this was a fine hotel conveniently located close to Busch Gardens. The room was clean and roomy. The beds were comfortable. It also offered free internet access in the room and the lobby. My family and I would not hesitate to return.”

• I really was pleased with the customer service performance of the staff. I loved the decor of the hotel.
• I didn't really enjoy the mattress. It wasn't hard enough for what I' m accustomed to. Other than that, every thing was great.

• This hotel had a great location to the parks and local dining.
• Room was small when you use the pull out couch.

• The hotel was perfect for traveling to Busch Gardens and Water Country. You could take a break and come back to the hotel for a break.
• Breakfast was an additional $10.95 a day per person. Not great for teenage boys.

“The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They placed us in rooms near each other once they realized we were together. They changed the rooms to a king and then two doubles at our request. Very nice setting.”

• The room was a little dirty, tub was not cleaned.

“I loved staying here, the bath tub was slightly dirty when we arrived, but it could have just been stained that way seeing as it did not improve the next day. The staff was extremely helpful and polite and the breakfast buffet was amazing.”

• Soft pillows & beds made it a great place to sleep.
• Maid service / room recovery very poor & not timely.

“We enjoyed the Hotel stay as it provided a great location. The rooms were very nice, soft and comfortable beds. The Hotel offered a good breakfast but no lunch or dinner. The pool and spa's went well with a long day ending. However the Hotel as many employs students from Russia and there seemed to be a few shortfalls with making the stay fantastic. The rooms was only half recovered as it appeared that someone may have gotten distracted and forgot to finish the room. Also apparent language barriers existed due to the Russian Students leaving all Decaf in the rooms instead of a few on each (reg & decaf coffee).”

• Great location close to places to eat and theme parks. Good area.
• Room was small. Phone didn't work, they said they would replace it never did. I was surprised to find no linens for the sleeper sofa.

“The hotel was nice, extremely happy at the price. Location was great best part. Area was nice felt safe a plus traveling with my kids. Nice pools don't know why they don't advertise the indoor pool. Felt the restaurant was pricey didn't eat their. Plenty of options in the area to eat at. The room was nice though small. I felt the sleeper sofa bed should have had lines on it had to go to the front to ask. Room phone didn't work they never did replace or fix it. Staff was friendly and I would definitely stay again.”

• The staff was incredibly polite and friendly.
• Indoor pool was ice cold.

“I'd recommend this Courtyard. It is very close to Busch gardens, slightly further from Colonial Williamsburg (CW). However, don't be misled: unless you are staying at one of the CW hotels, you will be driving to CW. The Crowne Plaza is *not* within walking distance. The hotel was very busy on the weekend with tourist travelers and much quieter with business travelers on Sunday night.”

• Very quiet and seemed to be more away from the touristy area.
• No restaurant or lounge on site and rooms are in need or some updating, looking a little tattered, desk staff needs to be trained on area.

“Very comfortable beds, and wonderful bath amenities, even though it was a heated pool the temp was not hot as so many are, it was perfect. The room was very comfortable and included a fridge. Even has internet including a wireless keyboard for business travelers. Since it's a bit removed, everything within walking distance is closed before 10 including the convenience store.”

• The hotel was in a convenient location, and the rooms were quite despite the high school field trip across the hall.
• We gave the hotel our debit card for incidentals and the automatically do a pending charge for $100, without notifying us.

“The hotel was a great experience. The room was nice, a little small, but a good experience. It would have been nice to know in advance about the hotel's indoor pool. We would have brought swimsuits. But even the hotel's website did not list the indoor pool.”

• I liked the decor and cleanliness.
• Close to train tracks and staff was rude.

“The staff was very rude and unaccommodating. What did that have to do with needing more towels? What did that have to do with asking about 2 queen beds availability? Either it's available or not. Checking out was another hassle. I paid in advance and they kept asking me where my statement was so they could close my account. I showed my receipt and they needed to confer and get back to me and made me wait until I was told I was free to go about 20 minutes later. I would never book at a Marriott again and I'm a club member.”

• Very close to Bush Gardens and local attractions.
• The bathroom shower could have used a good bleaching, it was slightly stained.

“This was a very good stay for the money. It's very well located from all of the local attractions. The only issues we had was the tub was either stained or just dirty from repeated cleaning neglect. Over-all, I'd stay again.”

• It was in a fabulous location to Busch Gardens theme park.
• The pool & hot tub was in poor condition.

“Hotel is in a fabulous location, very close to Busch Gardens theme park less then 1 mile. Although Pool & hot tub was in poor condition (temp of hot tub was cold). This hotel has a friendly staff who is helpful in finding locations around town. Hotel offers Breakfast for a fee.”
